I am very satisfied with the product and the employees are really nice. There was a certain girl who was incredibly helpful with the fish and all the products. She gave me useful tips and made my day twice as exemplary. She is about in her twenties and is dirty blond. Shes talkative, friendly, and valuable to the PetSmart business. She has a great smile and is a hard worker. The other workers were friendly too and helped me to the best of their ability. The products are always amazing and almost always meet my needs. I also love the discounts I can get. In short, I would definitely recommend PetSmart.

Recently moved here and wow! KIM is like the BEST employee they have! Such great customer service, so humble, and knowledgeable!! Thank you so much KIM! we will definitely be coming here for all of our pet needs (we have a lot)!!! :) KIM deserves a kudos for sure!

These managers here are very shady, will hide the fact that your dog has been cut, never tell you about it because they are forcing new inexperienced groomers to groom dogs they should not be grooming yet.However the groomers are great and they care about your fur babies as if they were their own!

Large selection for a small store,very friendly help and good prices

I was having a bad day and my dog Taco Bella was scheduled to be groomed. The staff was so kind and got a kick out of her name, giving her a taco bandana. The only thing is that when we got home I noticed a dry patch of skin on her front leg where maybe they didn’t get all the soap rinsed off of her. Besides that it was a great experience.

This petsmart location is the best I’ve ever been too. Always fully stocked and the staff is super nice! I have taken my dog StaX here a couple of times and everyone even the groomers and the bather are awesome!! I’ve never had a negative experience and plan to come back. Highly recommend Michaela, Stephanie and Chandler!

Wonderful customer service. Grace and Dallas the worker there was awesome with helping us make our goldfish a new home. She apologized for what we had to go through from petco n helped us so much. Thank you Grace, you’re the best. Need more customer service people like you. Dallas helped us the 2nd time to bring our new additions to the family❤️

Smaller store with limited choices with staff who had to approached to get them to stop talking amongst themselves instead of assist customers. Store was clean and organized.

Please do not schedule with Chandler O. at the Simpsonville location. Ive taken my hesitant (rescue) fur baby here at least 3 times, including the last time with Chandler O. and while it takes 30 minutes to get her from the car to behind the door to go to the grooming area, she has ALWAYS DONE GREAT for EVERY GROOMER she has ever been groomed by. My dog actually went into the store fairly quickly this time, but then decided to take her decision making time inside the store. Shes super sweet, quiet, no growling, no aggression, very very calm and chill -- it can just take her a little while to decide shes going to do something. After only about 5 minutes of trying to coax my dog into the area--and we were only a few feet away (also shes 60 lbs so theres no lifting her) Chandler says we will need to reschedule because she is already too stressed...I dont know how she will be once we start grooming. Mind you, I had made an appointment for 3pm and she called to ask if I could bring her in early, which I did...I got her there around 2:15, so its not like it was throwing her off a schedule. I really dont understand. I explained everything above but Chandler still seemed hesitant so I cancelled. Chandler O. and Petsmart are missing out. They have a record of my dogs previous visits which have gone amazingly well, plus I ALWAYS tip very well. Now I need to find a groomer who has more patience and a better understanding of hesitant dogs.

Small but very well supplied with all your pets needs

These people were to groom my dog. They couldn’t because he was incorporative they said. They had problems with him and said they couldn’t handle him. These are professionals who should be able to handle him. The problem was they didn’t ever call me to tell me there was a problem. I had to go into the store to check on my baby. They said they called but no records on my phone. I even checked to see they had my information. These people lie and charged you a fortune for vet too. I wouldn’t take a snake into this store because the way they treat animals. Do not go into this store.

Very nice workers are always eager to help

I took my four month old yorkie to Petsmart for a bath and puppy cut and when I picked him up his whole body was shaved with patches of hair everywhere and they left all his hair on his head. He looks like a totally different dog and I am very hurt and upset. Never think just because you are taking you puppy to PetSmart the groom will be ok because this was the ABSOLUTE WORST thing I could have ever done. I gave one star but they didn’t even deserve that. The Simpsonville location is horrible and the best thing they could do for me is give me a gift card. Horrible would be a understatement!

Very disappointed. I have come here for years, but will not be back. I had made appointment for 1:15pm, received a phone call wanting to know if I could bring at 11:00 am. I told Alyssa yes and hurried up to get there, she starts trying to cut corners She then decided she couldnt do it at all, because of a cyst on my dogs back that she has had her entire life.. then telling me to call back in a few days to be seen.. no i will not be back!!!

I took my 10 month old yorkie in to be groomed. Although I brushed her everyday, my husband has a habit of turning her hair around, while petting her! Needless to say she was really a mess!Kylie, her groomer confirmed what I already knew, a shave down! She did such a great job with Miss Emma! She looked very different, but much happier with all those knots gone! Its summer so we are enjoying no more daily torture with the brush and comb! Im sure it will grow back quickly!Kylie, thank you for doing such a great job!!

I dropped my dog off to be groomed at 9am, and once I arrived, all the grooming employees looked as if they completed hated their jobs. I have already been skeptical about using PetSmart after hearing many horror stories about their grooming at different stores. However, we have used them before and it has overall been great. This time, I left him (kind nervous since they all looked miserable), and my mom picked him up around 2 o’clock. When they left, my dog had a potty accident in the car because he was there for 5 hours with no bathroom break. Mind you, he is 100% potty trained but simply couldn’t hold it any longer. We called, Manager said “for safety reasons” they couldn’t let dogs out to relieve themselves. Imagine being held inside for 5 hours without being able to use the bathroom. We will never return to PetSmart for ANYTHING. Ridiculous!

Nice little shop. Not as much selection as the Woodruff Rd store, but 1/4 the traffic. Thats a win for me.

We are so glad we decided to eat at Nose Dive. We procrastinate eating downtown due to parking issues. But we went on a Wednesday night, it wasnt too busy, and had the perfect table. We sat inside against those massive open windows looking at Main Street and sidewalk activity. We relaxed and enjoyed a Flogging Molly burger and fries, Fish and Chips, shared a side of creamy Mac and Chesse (Mmmm), and a scoop of ice cream for dessert.Clay was our waiter and did a fabulous job of taking care of us and has a wonderful (Aussie?) brogue!! It began to get dark and the street lights downtown just added to a sweet romantic evening! Cant wait to visit again and try something else from the menu.

Rude staff tell you to set up appointments in one line only to be told that I have to pay in another (I knew that, I had already paid), then proceeded to argue about a customer being there that had been gone for several minutes. She ensures a customer of 4+ years will never return.

They seem to always be out of crickets. Otherwise theyre always friendly to the guests.

Wow! My dog has been going to pet smart for many years. This time they charged me an extra $8 because she was “a little nervous, but sweet.” I don’t see why that would be if she wasn’t aggressive. Oh well. Google search for groomers. 🙄

A really good place for pet supplies and my dog loves coming here! However, when we get my dog groomed here, they charge us for facials and extras that we dont ask for; all we ask for is for nails and fur to be cut.

The associates at this store are always helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They have recommended products for my senior cat and my overweight cat. Ive been satisfied with their suggested products every time.

This location may not have the largest selection, but the location is so nice. I also had a great experience customer service wise today. Definitley recommend, to keep from having to go to Greenville or Anderson or Easley.

Marie in the grooming department did a WONDERFUL job on my fur baby, Chewbacca. This was his first time at this salon and I have never seen him so perfectly groomed! Everyone was helpful at the front desk and had on smiling faces. Thank you.

I had an assignment for my summer school classes to graduate a year early and I called 3 different petsmart stores before calling the Simpsonville store and they all told me that they were too busy and couldn’t answer my questions some were rude about it and some weren’t but when I called this store the person who first answered the phone was nice and transferred me right over to the manager and when Mark Collemen answered he said that he had time to answer my few questions and was nice about it the whole time. Thanks to him taking about 10 minutes out of his day to help me I got my assignment done. This store really knows customer service and I don’t really ever do reviews but I was really impressed.

Just had our dog Ginger groomed here at Pet Smart! She’s a two year old spaniel and retriever mix and we were so excited for her to get her summer cut! After everything is said and done it’s safe to say that I have never actually had a worse experience. It’s very true that grooming is a tough business and it’s impossible to make every guest happy. In this case it was simply a fact that they didn’t care, and they didn’t even try to hide it. As a guy I had to laugh a little when I saw how our dog had been pretty well shaved and looked completely different. Those laughs stopped immediately after I saw my fiancé burst into tears. We gave specific instructions and those were thrown out the window. When I called back to the store so upset I was immediately offered a refund, it was very clear they just wanted to move on and it certainly was evident that this is a common practice.Please be careful when using this particular pet smart. Sadly they could not refund me my dogs hair and we will have to live with the fact that we could of avoided this by going to a groomer and store that at least pretended to care.

This is a smaller store. They did not stock the size bag of dog food we usually buy. Then there was a buy 3 get one free sale, but they only had 3 of the item. Then they told me they couldnt do a rain check for the free one. I am glad that this location is more convenient than driving all the way to Greenville.

This is not a large location however well educated staff. Someone will help find what you need not just want. Great for quick visits for supplies. Always pleasant you can always check inventory online prior. Groomers present if needed or the essentials and a small fish display that they keep very healthy.

Brought my 2 poodles here for grooming, our older one has severe anxiety and Haley, the groomer had us come pick him up because he was so distressed. We appreciated the fact that she cared more about his well being than making money from him. She did a beautiful job on our other poodle. Susan, the associate working when we picked up the old boy helped us find great clippers, so we cut our old guys hair at hom . Win win situation!

Kylie is great. My dog can be hard to work with but she does a great job grooming him. I use her whenever she is available.

Very disappointed that not ONE EMPLOYEE was wearing a mask. A sign clearly states mask required but not one on their employees? When I checked out, the girl reached around the plexiglass shield to hand me my receipt. I will no longer be shopping here.

I will never again have Sam, my Bichon, groomed at PetSmart, Simpsonville, SC!I was not pleased the previous time that he was groomed there...over a year ago; but, my favorite store in Taylors was booked!!So, I booked an appointment in Simpsonville.The night before his appointment, I personally, dematted him...took me more than two hours!(Due to the Corona Virus, he had not been professionally groomed in several months).But, we will be traveling to visit our daughter; and I want him strutting his stuff!😂His groomer was Michaela! She called, during the grooming, to say that she needed to cut him lower because his feet and legs were very matted! Of course, I could not imagine how they were so matted! As I mentioned earlier...I spent hours dematting him! I am still so upset! And paid PetSmart $50.00 for this!I will see if I can post a picture...Cheryl T. Bowens

This Pet Smart is terrible hurt my puppy and did not even pay for the damage, they did wrong the grooming, could not malle his hair. Terrible service and expensive.

Today had appt for 9:00, this morning. Arrived at 8:45. One person ahead of me. Took 30 MINUTES TO get checked in. 1:00 oclock called to pick up. Haircut looked good. Hubert was tired, and wipedout. Will not go back. Unorganized.

Staff is inconsiderate, legit took off work and drove in a monsoon to arrive for an appointment that was scheduled weeks ago only to be notified they can’t groom my dog. The lack of communication is very disappointing. Customer service is trash AF.

This PetSmart is always tidy and stocked. I cant think of any time it wasnt. Today, the staff on duty were friendly. There have been a couple of times when Ive made purchases and two different cashiers werent so friendly. I havent seen them in awhile, though.

An extremely small PetSmart but it does have all of the essentials. I can’t speak for the grooming salon. I was able to find the dog food I needed and it was very fresh, without bugs in it. I probably wouldn’t go here for much else than that, cat food, and fish products. Small animals are not their strong suit.

Took my furbaby in for her birthday surprises. She likes to pick herself. The ladies working were very helpful & offered the Birthday PUP-PIE all natural pink for my darling girl. Its perfect. Suzie Q loves her new glow n the dark balls & her crinkle snake & dino. Best Birffffday EVER!

Great customer service

For a small store, these guys do an exceptional job. The staff is helpful, the store is well stocked, and the variety of products is amazingly good. Petco is down road but nowhere close to meeting needs like these guys.

Convenient little store with friendly employees. The manager did returns for me even though the box I had was all busted up. Employees even opened the door for me since the box I was carrying was so large.

They didn’t even try to do my dogs nail trim... they walked him in the back and turned him around because he was scared and they said “he wouldn’t let them pick him up... “ literally zero effort. Also was told “ he probably has chow that’s just how bad they are..” so you’re also discriminatory against big breeds. Got it. Don’t recommend!

Its convenient that theres a PetSmart so near my house, but I wish for more. The staff was friendly and helpful when I came to their location, they answered all of my questions, but its a very small store. They didnt have everything that I wanted, so I had to hit up a larger pet store.This place is good if all you need is dog food and the assorted toy, the pet store on Woodruff has a much better selection.

We recently took our dog to get a haircut at the Simpsonville location. Our dog is almost blind and nearly deaf. Our home is his forever home. They were good to him and gave him an excellent hair cut. The only issue we had was it took 5 hours to get him on the table for the cut. We had to wait in the car with two toddlers for the last hour. We had traveled around town and shopped as much as we could. This is why I gave them 4 stars out of 5.

I love this store. The staff is always friendly and helpful. I use the grooming salon regularly. If there is a negative, it’s that it is a small store compared to the Greenville locations but avoiding the traffic more than makes up for it. I very seldom have to go uptown anymore.

Openly ignored by a personnel who was chatting with an older customer waiting on her dog. I wouldn’t care to write a review or be upset about it until she decided to turn and look at me standing there to waiting to check out and decided it was not her problem and continued chatting away. I counted to 30 under my breath, no one showed up, so I put the product back on the shelf and walked out.I am (was) a decently frequent customer. I’ve noticed (anecdotal evidence) that people in line waiting to check out are the ones they care about the least.

The associates at this location are always the nicest and most helpful, but DO NOT let Jennifer in the grooming salon groom your dog!!!! Absolutely awful at her job I dont see why she is a groomer because she clearly has no idea what she is doing. My poor sisters dog had horrendous razor burn and said the groomer was more worried about what brand of food my sisters dog was eating!!

****Edit**** I talked to the manager and he understood my frustrations with the policy not being noted when making the appointment. He also arranged free grooming for my dog at their competitor (Petco) to make up for it in addition to getting corporate to post the policy on their site so others dont face this frustration. I think this is top notch customer service. 👌 ****End Edit***Have taken our small dog (12 pound pomeranian mix) here several times to get groomed however this last time we were told that their new policy will not allow them to groom dogs who are panting or shaking. Well its 80 degrees outside so of course she will be panting!Just ridiculous... this new policy should have been noted online when making the appointment instead of when we went to drop her off.Oh and the groomer recommended our pup get sedated by a vet for grooming since she was panting. Seriously?!? She gets groomed every 6 months and has been there several times for grooming! I dont know of ANY dog that doesnt pant when its 80 degrees outside and is getting dropped off for grooming! These people have lost their minds!!!!Overall they have lost our business for good. Wasted an afternoon for nothing.

This review is for the grooming salon. Against my better judgment, I took my Yorkie to them for a last minute grooming. I asked for the best groomer and was told that this woman was really good. When I went to pick her up, Robbie went to get her and he just shoved her into my hands. No words. And... she looked like Edward Scissorhands was the groomer. A true hack job. It was awful. Completely shameful. Stick with your own private groomer.

They dont have much to offer as far as products are concerned.

Really enjoy going into this PetSmart its very clean and organized and it does not stink and their fish are not dead like the other pet smarts in the area but they do not carry reptiles and cats and stuff like that

I took my Maltipoo to get groomed and they did a TERRIBLE job! They also did something to her leg, she could barely walk when we got her home and she still has problems. She also got fleas from there. I will NEVER take her back ! Piss poor job on her grooming!

Took my baby to the groomer loved her groomer and the staff was very professional and super helpful.

I placed an online order on Black Friday with plans to pick it up in the store on Friday afternoon when I got off work. I went in to get my order and the store did not even have my order ready. It took them 10 minutes to find my order and then it took them 45 minutes to fill my order which was not very big. When they brought my order up to me, they told me they could not complete my order because they did not have everything in stock. Yet when I placed the order online 18 hours earlier it said they did have it in stock. I had to wait for them to give me a refund, which meant they had to return my entire order and reprocess it with the correct amount of items. I was in the store for 1.5 hours total when it should have taken less than 5 minutes to run in and pick up my order. I will not be using this Petsmart ever again.
