If you plan to buy a GE brand appliance, be warned. Should you need to make a warranty claim, GE demands that you buy another GE product FIRST then mail the receipt for the new appliance with the so-called Good Will Certificate they mail you in order to be considered for a refund. Thats right. They want to make it as hard as possible to get your money back for their garbage and force you to buy even more of their garbage. I only fault Lowes for not doing due diligence in protecting THEIR customers from predatory companies like GE. Lowes, please discontinue selling GE brand products.

They are very helpful and knowledgeable. They just dont have any stock. We bought an outside water spigot and had to go somewhere else to buy the components to put it together. Its not that they have no stock. They dont carry it at all.

If you are buying a big item like an appliance and something goes wrong, good luck getting the help you need. The customer service here leaves much to be desired.I bought a stacked washer & dryer for $1500 to be picked up at another Lowe’s. It had a noticeable dent in the back. At first I thought it was just cosmetic, but the dryer made a squeaking sound when turned on. Since I am now located closer to the Simpsonville Lowe’s, I asked for a pickup & exchange there, which is something only a manager can order. And they are impossible to reach over the phone. What is the purpose of having a work phone and pager if you never use it? One manager I spoke to in person said she would get this done, but never called me again and nothing on my account reflects our conversation. I left my number with another manager over the phone who also never called. So now with the end of the 30 day warranty approaching, I have no choice but to hire someone to make the return in store and buy a washer elsewhere.
Went in today to purchase some hedge clippers. Picked up a pair that was in the $19.99 spot. They rung up $29.99. I told the cashier(an older white lady) that they were $19.99. She got an attitude with me and pulled up a screen saying that they rung up $29.99. I know how much they rung up but I know what the price tag said too, $19.99. This is the second time she has gotten an attitude with me. She had gotten an attitude with the older gentleman in front of me. Next time, if theres a next time, I will be asking for a manager. Just seems like she gets the attitude with African Americans. I will go to Greenville to go to Lowes.
Last week, I had to pull all of my tomatoes up because I pulled a stupid with my greenhouse and the maters got leaf mold. I wouldve cried a lot harder if Lowes hadnt had some great looking tomatoes. They were all indeterminate - a thing I realized after I planted them. (Are you noticing a pattern here?)Anyhoo, youre looking at 2 Bonnie Originals, 2 Pink Brandywine, 2 Big Boy, 1 Cherokee Purple, and 1 Black Prince.Theyve taken very nicely and Im already seeing flowers.

Purchased a refrigerator. Delivery scheduled for 7-1. Fridge had two dents so we refused delivery. Delivery rescheduled for today, 7-6. They attempted to deliver the SAME DENTED FRIDGE. REFUSED AGAIN. Told them if we cant get delivery tomorrow, we want a refund. Waiting to hear.
I would rate lower, since Lowes actively stile money from me. First they rescheduled my install date 3 times. Then when it was installed they didnt even bring all the materials. Im still missing my.blimds for my window! Ill never do business with Lowes ever again!

Weve had a Horrible experience with purchasing 4 appliances from them. They delivered one piece that was damaged then told us we could have another one delivered in 3 days. Well, 3 days came and went now they are saying we wont get anything until August when we bought them in May. So here we are in this endless loop of trying to reach someone on the phone that can help us find an appliance in a reasonable amount of time. However, no one will answer the phone in the area of lowes we need which is convenient.

I payed over 300.00 for a toilet... yall did not have enough help for the guy(Eddie) to help load the toilet into my truck! I me an old woman had to help him out this 100lb toilet. Then I payed to have it installed. Well the guy calls this morning at 7:30 am and said he would be here at 10:30.. havent seen him yet...I had to call him still waiting!

Do not order anything in bulk from this place. Ordered big order over 4 weeks ago. Suppose to get delivered over a week ago but with no luck. Called several times, only got a call back once but with no information. Poor customer service with delivery section, customer service, and management. Jessica was helpful but never called me back with any updates. After rude customer service employee decided to get refund and take my business elsewhere. Worst experience I have ever had with Lowe’s and have been a loyal customer for many years. What a shame, would of rated a 0 if I could.
Same as every other home supply company just bigger they usually have just about anything you would want for home repairs in stock though its usually very neat and tidy customer service A + ample parking plenty of handicapable parking and a great garden selection
Pretty much just a standard lowes. The only thing I can say for sure is that the lumber selection was garbage. Warped and bowed us an understatement... And not to mention the price is at an all time high!!

I bought a brand new riding John Deere lawnmower along with buying a brand new trailer to haul it home or places that I need it. The shopping experience was great then I bought a brand new weed eater in which I purchased the extended warranty with both the Rider mower and the weed eater. A couple weeks later I had to go back and buy a new stove with the burners on top I refuse to have any glass top. I also got a discount bc it was on sale and I made sure it was Black. The one that went out was white and I wanted it to match our other appliances which is black and silver.

Hard to imagine Lowes young lady for Contractor Check out didnt greet us coming in to shop, or throughout check out, and finally, we had to wait (with others in line) till she finished chatting with Co-workers away from her register. Like others, we have a Business Account at Lowes, and Im sure they also felt thier Purchases were unappreciated as well. Fortunately, this is unusual and we will return.

Returned some items, the girl there was very nice. Picked up fertilizer, I thought it would be in the same area as potting soil and mulch, but I found it on the other side. Had to bend down and go under the pallet racks to get them 40 lb bags. A little hard on the back. Should be in an open area.

Tried to call several times to get connected to appliances and was sent to the homes and gardens dept. The younger man was very rude and kept hanging up on me. The phone service line there sucks and it’s hard to get good customer service.I will take my business to Home Dept any day of the week.

I purchased a $750 grill online that was assembled at and delivered from this store. It arrived damaged. I called numerous times and no one ever answered the phone. I called the main Lowe’s CS # and was on hold 40 minutes before registering my complaint with an agent who promised to call me back. That was 24 hours ago. I am not at all pleased with this store or my purchase.

Positive experience at this store location in Simpsonville. I ordered online for pickup. After 3 hours I still hadnt received a notification that my order was ready. I decided to head that way so when I arrived I called the store and they were more than happy to go ahead and gather my order. They were very polite and courteous on the phone and within just a few minutes they brought my order out to the car for curbside pickup. Thank you Lowes of Simpsonville.
We went for 2x4x8s and there were only 5 busted ones left in the tray, so I went to the desk on the lumber side, and asked the cashier if there was anyway to see if they had anymore 2x4x8s hidden somewhere. She looked it up and said there was more in stock, then she called on the radio to ask other workers to look for them and bring them down. In a few minutes two guys came out with a fork lift and went to get them down. Turns out they really were out back, but they went out there and got them, brought them back in, put them in the tray, then undid the straps. We went to the Checkout where Christie the cashier was very kind in helping my elderly father inserting his debit card into the machine (his hands shake alot), and off we went.
They had what I needed at an acceptable price.

Ordered a washer and dryer with delivery and installation. First delivery attempt the washer was severely dented. I had them install the dryer and called lowes to schedule a new delivery date for the replacement washer. Second delivery attempt they forgot all the attachments needed to install my washer. So now Im waiting on my third delivery attempt to finish installing my washer. On top of that the delivery drivers scratched my dryer while installing my washer... ill never order from lowes again
Terrible customer service. I looked up my items beforehand so I would know they were in stock and where. Both were not where it said it was online. For one product I asked for help, and the first Associate was clueless and didnt want to help. I could see he had no clue whatsoever so I let him be. The next Associate did stop and help. He didnt want to, but he did and hes the exception to my review. The next item I never found. The item online said it was on aisle BW. All the aisles though are numbered. So I went went where it should be and sorta found it. The product was loosly thrown in a box. Almost like someone dumped the product from one box. I decided to order online and while doing so another Associate walked by asked if I was finding everything. I said no. My item might be in storage so was thinking of ordering on Amazon. He said ok. Coud have cared less. I decided to check out what I had and go to the Home Depot down the street. Night and day experience. Not only was their product well organized but when going for the aisle an Associate asked if she could help. I told her what aisle I was heading to and she led the way. Super friendly and helpful. I love the product options though at Lowes. Not gonna lie. Thinking this location has bad management. Take care of your Associates and they will take care of the customers.
Bought a gas grill from these useless people over a week ago. Promised to deliver on the 14th of April. Took the day off to be at home to get it. Nothing. No delivery. Said it would be tomorrow. I got my money back and will never go into lowes store again. USELESS!!!

Ordered items online for store pickup the next day. I pulled into curbside pick up and called to let them know I was there. The girl who answered the phone asked my last name and said she’d bring items out in “a few minutes”. 15 minutes later I had to go inside to get my items. Poor customer service.
Have not have 1 experience go as planned. In stock items online are never accurate, my last online order they charged my card and canceled the order. Tried calling over and over but the store customer service one goes to a busy signal. Called the pro desk and they took my info and said I would get a call asap.2 days later finally got ahold of corporate to get a refund and spent an hour with someone that clearly had no training to get a refund. Home Depot eats your lunch in every way!!
I received a call from the delivery department and I wasnt able to answer the call. I returned the call no one answered. I call 4 different department no answer. I called customer service no answer the phone rang for 5 minutes no answer. I had to drive to the store just to tell them that I wanted my order assemble. The only reason I paid for the delivery fee is because I wanted it assemble. When I paid my money this should have been taken care of. The sales person told me before I bought the item that every item was already assemble, I was going to assemble it but since it was already put together. I agreed to pay the delivery fee. I just dont understand how you have so many people working in the store and no one answers the phone. Why have phone service if you are not going to answer the phone. I call 5 times and no one answered that is just ridiculous. I guess I will be spending my money at home depot.

Ive never witnessed a more useless group of employees in my life. I came for soil, and I ask the guy in garden center where carts were. He replied, probably outside. When I came back with a cart the two employees seen me push the cart up to the dirt and they walked off. Afterwards, I pushed my full cart past these two and several other employees,standing around talking,at registers and no one offered to help load it. Home depot is right down the road do yourself a favor and avoid supporting these useless people

I have been in this store more than a hand full of times in the early morning and Ive over heard this woman talking smack about her coworkers. One time she was talking about how bad they were and they wouldnt dress right and the other time it was about how slow the other employees are.. nobody wants to shop in a store when they hear an employee constantly downing the other employees. I asked the lady at the register what her name and she told me her name was Ms. Kim. I hope this store does something about her because its real unprofessional the way she handles her self. Ill never come Back to lowes. Imagine if she say stuff like that about her employees imagine what she will say about the costumers.

Avoid the hassle and just go to a business that specializes in flooring. The Lowes employees are not, I repeat, NOT the problem. It is the contracted installers where we became so frustrated that we cancelled our purchase. Confusion, changes and everything but an outright refusal to do the work as we, the buyer desired was the deal breaker. Installation and layout changed three times before the carpet was even ordered for installation. We were told that it was to save us money, but it became apparent that it was merely for the installers convenience and simplicity to quickly do the work. Go elsewhere......

Highly disorganized. I needed 2 cabinets the website said 6 was on hand. I found 4 of them completely demolished 1 with minor damage and 1 that was good. It took over 45 minutes to get someone to remove the cabinets from the upper shelves. I appreciate the 2 men that finally was able to help. Not enough employees was on the floor.
Curbside pickup was less than advertised. This was my second attempt using the service. I dismissed my first experience with curbside pickup. Curbside was new service which had a few wrinkles that needed to be worked out. My second experience fell short of the first. Both times, the issues were with overall customer service. Lowes has always been a good place to shop if you know what you want and where exactly it is in the store. Go in, get it yourself, & leave. Dont expect help unless you get lucky and find the one employee that gives a damn.

Lazy staff that have no care or interest in customer service. After confirming my kitchen appliances were able to be ordered and the timeframe they would take to arrive from the Lowes in Hickory NC, I took all the paperwork here and they did not even want to look at the paperwork, they also gave me delivery dates three months further out. Just an overall poorly run operation with no focus on customer service.

The level of incompetence displayed by management and customer service is astounding. I purchased an appliance for nearly $3k, and set a delivery date. It was never delivered. I had to go into the store, and they said I was never placed on the delivery list. So I had them place me on the delivery list again. The “new” delivery date arrived, but the appliance did not. It took about 45 minutes of calling and button pressing to finally get a person on the line. She told me I was still not on the delivery list, and my best bet was to “try to call back in the morning”. I asked what time that should be to ensure a delivery, and she told me she did not know. I asked to speak with a manager, and she hung up on me. I honestly had no idea that a large store like Lowe’s could display this level of incompetence. They certainly had no issues immediately taking $3,000 from me, but I’ve now watched 2 delivery dates come and go with no appliance, and not a single word regarding my delivery from anyone affiliated with this absolutely pathetic company. Do not just assume Lowe’s will deliver the items you pay for, because they will not. I’ve never had this issue with truly reputable companies like Best Buy and Home Depot.
This Lowes seemed busy, which almost made me not want to go in (my personal preference, but good for them). However, I needed some picture hanging hooks, some spackle, and other items. I found all that I wanted; they had a good selection of items. Thanks to the self-checkout area, I got in and out quickly. Good store, good selection, and friendly people.

After receiving an e-mail saying my order was ready, I had to wait 2 hours at store because they could not locate my order. Second time, I ordered a few items for curbside pick-up. Called inside 3 times and still waited 1 hour and having to go inside. The employees at this store have no sense of urgency and do not value their customers.
