Despite numerous taxis being in the area, the wait time was horrendous. It was not during peak hours.
We reserved yellow cab for a specific time. They never showed. We waited for 20 minutes . A different cab company happened to be there. I called their company and asked if they were affiliated with yellow cab. They said no. I tried to call and text yellow cab and no one would answer. Finally I went outside to ask the cab driver if he was waiting for someone specific. He said “Robin”. That’s me! Yellow cab had subcontracted with another company to pick us up and didn’t tell us! I’ll never rely on them again!
Its very hard to order a cab now with all the text and lack of dispatch
Needed a ride to the airport and I called them first.the company does not pick up their phones and instructs the caller to go online or text them to reserve a cab. This is absolutely ridiculous in a day and time in which we live, where there should be adequate staff to answer the phone particularly at 3 a.m. in the morning.you would think that the company would be more competitive in a day and age in which you have Uber Lyft and others serving the metropolitan area as their competitors.I followed their request procedure and try to secure a ride via text, in which, I never received a reply response. Fortunately I was able to make other plans to make my connection at the the airport.I wont waste my breath any further in describing my disappointment. My advice is not to ever use yellow cab. Look at all the other comments that have been left here by other users who were let down by by their poor service. Its particularly sad and unimpressive that the supposed owner response is always thank you. This just shows a lack of willingness to make good services to their patrons.if they continue to provide this type of poor service level they will be out of business quickly in this competitive market within the Washington DC area.
Hired them at a flat rate to run two people out to Annapolis from Silver Spring in the morning, and a return trip scheduled in the afternoon. The morning pickup was timely, but I was charged $20 more than the quote I was initially given. The afternoon pickup called me twice, just couple minutes apart, an hour from the pickup time. Due to my location, I missed the calls due to lack of service but called back 18 minutes later. No voicemail was left on my phone, and the other number never picked up or responded to the voicemail. Later, when I called the company, they told me that the driver tried to get in contact with me but just rescheduled because I didnt return the call immediately. There was no other driver available, and no notice of any cancellation given, leaving us stranded. Fortunately we found another wonderful service due to a police officer nearby, but the service received really put a damper on what should have been a fun day.

Dont f******* call them this is not a business it is a Mexican scam dont call barwood either youre better off calling a uber they are unprofessional, will not answer the phone even after my 50 calls, literally. They will never show up. Youre welcome.
Asked for a 3:10 pickup, driver was a few minutes late. They advertised that they accept Amex and had the Four logo on the window but upon arrival driver said It doesnt work and wrote the CC info on a clipboard, which is obviously bad for security/identity theft if it gets stolen or put in the trash. I had a pretty timeline to get to Union Station for a train and google maps showed 33 minutes with current traffic conditions on the highway, but driver took me on all kinds of backroads full of traffic and redlights and hence I missed my train. The drivers should have a traffic-aware GPS or smartphone with google maps and not rely on guesswork. So I ended up missing my train with a much higher taxi charge than I should have and had to pay in a very security-risky way. Bad experience. Dispatch should have advised me also about the surcharge for using a credit card, didnt know about that until arrival either. Other than that, driver was friendly and really seemed to be trying hard to get me there.
I highly recommend this service to anyone who is looking for great taxi service
