Although I’m sure every day is busy for them, I called the day before to see if I could get an oil change and an inspection sticker. I briefly explained that I was pumping gas at one of the travel plazas on the turnpike in July, and a truck towing a flatbed didn’t make the turn at the gas pump wide enough, causing the flatbed to hit the front passenger side of my car. I blame the travel plazas for this, but regardless, it caused body damage to my right fender, hood, headlight and front bumper. This happened around the 3rd week of July, which is when my inspection sticker would no longer be valid. I also needed an oil change. My car would not have passed inspection due to the damage, and I needed to have the damage repaired anyway. I brought it to Franchi Bros. for the body work, of which I would highly recommend! It took longer than expected, but definitely worth the wait. When I called A-Tech the day my car was finished at the body shop, Mike said they were seriously out straight for the following day, but if I could leave it with them all day, they promised to get to. I went in for a sticker and an oil change. I picked up my car later that day, and I will never go anywhere else! They explained everything, their fees are reasonable, but what impressed me the most, was their exemplary customer service!

Excellent and FAST. The starter went in my car the Thursday before Labor Day, they said they couldnt look at it until the next Tuesday which was fine. They looked at it early,, and had it DONE by end of day Friday. Professional, polite, and I highly recommend them.

After bringing my 2013 Chevy multiple places, Atech was the only business to do what I asked. They gave my car a general inspection and found that I had a leak in my exhaust system, which I knew as my car smelt like old gas when I had the fans on inside. The car was also extremely loud under the hood and so I was looking to get this fixed. I took my car and dropped it off the Friday before Labor Day. They told me first thing Tuesday morning they’d take a look and by 9am I already received a phone calling sharing what needed to be fixed with an approximate quote for what it would cost. After giving the okay to their repair suggestions, but car was ready for pickup by that night, saving me from another day of trying to find transportation from friends and family. Thank you to Atech for your honesty. You gained a new customer and a customer who has lots of friends he’s excited to share his experience with!

Its on the pricey side of the scale and only opened on weekdays but they do good work. And they treat me well when ever i go. They offer free loner car and they will explain exactly whats wrong and why its matters. I also can almost always get my car scheduled to be seen within a day or so. Mike also remembers my name everytime its makes interactions very personable.

I asked A-tech to change my rear brakes, based on a recommendation from my inspection garage. The inspection garage offered immediate service for a price that was very attractive.I did not have time to wait, and brought my car to a-tech several days later. A few hrs later, A-tech they called and let me know that there was nothing wrong with my brakes and in “good conscience” they couldn’t recommend any work. They did not even charge for the brake inspection. . This experience (and others we’ve had there) confirmed my decision to return and my confidence in their honesty and skill. We will continue to use A-tech for all of our auto repair needs.

I had a tough diagnostic problem on an intermittent stalling problem. Because it was a 1995 owner said only he could work on it, techs didnt have the experience. Three weeks later he told me he cant leave the front office to work on it because the shop cant function with him doing actual work in a bay apparently. He wasted my time and did nothing to help fix the vehicle. Another shop diagnosed and fixed it (ecm) in one day

Second review: I had a slow leak after running over something on the highway, A-Tech was able to squeeze me in the next morning and got it done fast and efficiently. Recently had work done at A-Tech to fix A/C and alternator issues. I had a brand new battery from Autozone, and after continuing to have issues after repairs; we brought the car back to have it looked at. A-Tech identified that the battery wasnt good (although it would test okay). They tried to coordinate with Autozone, but Autozone wouldnt work with them. I personally brought the battery to Autozone, but they refused to honor the warranty. A-Tech did everything possible to take care of us. Id strongly recommend them, and Id strongly discourage going to Autozone. A-Tech was even willing to talk to the employees at Autozone while I was there, to help resolve the problem. Both Autozone employees refused to talk to them, and walked away from me.

The team here has gone the extra step for me on a few occasions, including when I arrived a half hour late for my appointment on a Friday (sorry guys...). Theyre always respectful and accommodating. Not sure if theyre the cheapest in the area, but I feel as though Im paying for better service and clear/honest communication.

A-Tech picked up my car and delivered it back when it was done. Mike was great at keeping in touch and letting me know what else needed to be fixed. The prices quoted were very reasonable too. I will definitely be going back to A-Tech!

I brought my 2008 Tacoma in with unknown noises in the suspension and the problem area was located and the parts were replaced in the timeframe requested. My only complaint is the door handles were dirty and the vehicle had a penetrating lubricant smell inside in which I have noticed happens at just about every service shop.

Honest assessment of the problem. Did not recommend any unnecessary diagnostics or repair. Trustworthy. I plan to take my vehicles to A-Tech for all my future maintenance needs.

Had a multi-point inspection on my 2014 Audi Q5. Mike (owner/GM) took the time to walk me through the condition of my vehicle post inspection. He is professional and genuine. A-Tech will be my family’s mechanic and alternative to Audi Shrewsbury.

Dec-12:Got my car with the swapped engine and was getting a good feel on the drive. I drive around a 100 miles to work both ways, very happy with the swapped engine, including the 5 year engine warranty. Hoping to not need the warranty support,and thanks Mike for being very patient with me - on with 5 stars...Nov-26:Had a conversation on the current status and details around why this situation came about - more to do with the engine supplier vendor who unfortunately was not communicating timely. Appreciate on getting a loaner car, and hoping to get the work completed by the following week after the arrival of the engine. Wanting and waiting to give five stars . . .Nov-25:Very steadily starting to loose confidence and faith in the process here. Paid an advance of $1000 over 12 days back, and dont have any information on where the engine is coming from and when will it arrive. Given a name of Quality Engines at Washington, but cannot find them.Nov-24This not my final review... I love my cars, never sell the ones I own. One of my cars got an engine failure despite following all service schedule, and am waiting to have its engine replaced at A-Tech. Its been a week, waiting for the replacement engine and I hope to get my car soon, and then will set the actual review stars...

When I brought my car to a-tech for an oil change they were honest and told me my tires do not yet need to be replaced. It’s hard to find a place in the automotive industry where people are really honest! They will definitely be retaining my business!

AAA towed my car here when it wouldnt start. They were able to diagnose the issue and fix it within half a day. (In the middle of a pandemic no less). I will absolutely bring my car here from now on!

A-Tech Automotive provided a great repair and customer experience! I had a check engine light on and they performed testing and repair fast and efficiently. They were helpful in providing a diagnosis and even provided a 1st time customer discount. They scheduled the repair within a day, they diagnosed the car, and were even able to get the part and repair within a few hours. A week after the repair I received a call from the Service Manager Cody to check on the repair to make sure I was not having any issues after the work was completed. I was surprised to receive this call as I have worked with large dealerships in the past and never had a follow up call after the work was completed. I bought tires here in May and I got a flat recently. They repaired the tire really quickly. When I had my brakes done and tires replaced they provided a loaner. The staff is really nice. I definitely recommend A-Tech.

I didnt fall for their trickery.Using the State Inspections to drum up business.Told me my front end of my truck needed work.My mechanic actually called them and called them out on this B.S. front end was fine, almost everything was relatively new.

Professional, efficient, available, clear communication, clean facility, and they do the job right. Cody is honest and up-front about recommendations, but never pushy.I live in Worcester, but I make the drive out to Shrewsbury because these guys have earned my trust.

With AAA suggestion I towed my car to Atec auto on Saturday night. Not knowing anything about them and worried about the repair.Monday morning got update from Mike, got estimate and said work will be done on same day. As it is my primary/only vehicle I was planning to rent car thinking the repair may take long .( the car ball join snapped and fell flat on the road).The repair is done and price is as mentioned ( no change). Fantastic service

I was greeted by a smile and hello both by the owner as he was leaving and the assistant behind the counter. The assistant took the necessary information for me to get my car inspected. I went to the waiting room where there was coffee, water and snacks. I had a little trouble with the TV but the assistant seemed happy to help.

My wife was in the Worcester area for work & had a unexpected issue with her vehicle. We found A-Tech & I spoke to Cody. He was terrific! He listened and bent over backwards to get my wife back on the road asap. After a few weeks, Cody even called to check-in. The work is top class & the customer service is in a league of its own. When Im in that area, Ill be going to A-Tech!

Went for an inspection sticker, staff are extremely nice and friendly over there. I like to do a lot of car work myself and this is the first shop that hasn’t tried to take advantage of their customer to make a quick buck. they show you exactly what needs to be fixed and will take you to the back so you can see it for yourself. Told me I needed to replace the LED 3rd break light on my focus, came back the following week and gave me a pass. Will gladly recommend to anyone looking for a good place for inspections.

I have been there once and I went in for a state inspection. It was done quickly with no issues. My problem is that I asked them to scan my new tires pressure sensors to recalibrate my TPMS. They told me one of the tires had a faulty sensor and it would be 70$ to repair. Not a huge issue, but I suspected it was really OK and I chose to not get it replaced. Sure enough, I took my car to another shop for maintenance work and they recalibrated my TPMS. No faulty sensors, no problems. I hope that this was just a mistake and nothing nefarious but now I am skeptical about the shop.

I find everyone at this automobile repair business to be friendly, honest and very capable of explaining the issues with my car clearly. Had a great experience at A-Tech Auto when I came in for a pre-purchase inspection. They were able to fit me in the same day I set up the appointment, which was amazing since I dont live in town and was only in the area to test drive a car. They were very thorough -- inspection took about an hour. They walked through the whole report with me and gave a very candid, honest recommendation about the car. Felt very confident walking away from the car in the end. Highly recommend A-Tech for pre-purchase inspections. Well worth the money if you are looking at a used car!

Service was forced on me by an overheated radiator on I-190, and AAA recommended A-Tech. The AAA tow truck took me there, and I was impressed. They were courteous, attentive, and the manager stayed after hours to make sure my ride home arrived. They diagnosed the problem the next morning, repaired it, test drove it, and charged me a reasonable amount. I was able to pay by PayPal, so I did not have to get to their shop before closing. They parked my car outside with my (spare) key locked inside, and I picked up my car that evening. They were on it in every way all the way, and I left thinking I have found my new, regular maintenance shop.

$330 for a diagnostic test, new battery and labor is outrageous!

Ive been an A-Tech customer for 5+ years. They have done the difficult jobs, like clutch replacements, to work that other shops would have shied away from, (repaired the piston on a convertible top) to brakes and lots of other work that I needed repaired. I have always been happy with the quality of work, professionalism, fairness in pricing and accuracy of when it would be done. Top notch local business, with the owners right on site and very helpful and responsive. A+ shop!

This place advertised in June that five dollars from every oil change would be donated to Centros Food Bank. It is now October and the organization has not received any money. If they lie about charitable donations, I wonder what else they lie about....I wouldn’t have my car repaired here if I were you. Go somewhere honest, it will be cheaper anyways!!!
