We are new to Sylvan, but so far, we are happy with the progress. They are doing a good job keeping my daughter engaged in wanting to learn.

The tutoring experience has been really great for our child/family.

Enrolling our daughter in the program at Sylvan Learning of Shreveport was the best decision that we could have made. Our daughter struggled as she entered the First Grade and was still operating on the Kindergarten level. We worked with her at home but she still would bring home Cs, Ds and Fs. She was failing and we knew we had to do something. We spoke to the staff and researched the program. After deciding to enroll our daughter, she was given a baseline test to see where she was struggling and put on a program tailored to her specific needs. Just 3 months into the program, my daughter has made tremendous progress and is bringing home As & Bs. We are so proud of her and thankful for Sylvan Learning of Shreveport.A little about the facility & staff... The atmosphere and layout fosters a great learning environment. Its always clean inside, comfortable, and lots of Southern Hospitality for parents that want to hang out and wait for their children.The staff is amazing and always polite. Paul is always full of energy and gets my daughter motivated even when she is having a bad day. Pam is a sweetheart and great with the kids as well. In my opinion it does not get any better than Sylvan Learning of Shreveport with the great program that has a proven success rate, the facility, and the wonderful staff!!! We had such a great experience at Sylvan. Our goal was accomplished very quickly with the quality of tutoring they offer. Even above that, I am so thankful for the encouragement and words of wisdom that Mr. Paul gave to my son. It’s something that he will always remember.

I really appreciate that Sylvan offers individual learning plans targeted specifically to meet the needs of each individual student. The small child to teacher ratio is very beneficial to each child. I highly recommend it to any parent needing assistance with improving their childs academic achievement levels.

Sylvan Learning of Shreveport has been a God send for me and my family. My daughter has dyslexia and had no confidence when it came to reading. The friendly staff along with Mrs. Pam and Paul are awesome and helped her go from not even making honor roll to All As and two Bs. Not to mention, she has an A in reading! Yay! She is more confident in her reading and I am so proud and thankful to be writing this testimony on google review. From 3rd grade to 4th grade, there has been a significant improvement! Thanks to all the staff, Mrs. Pam, and Paul for their hard work and dedication! We love you guys!

Mr. Tony was really great with my kid. He has really helped my child be successful academically and helped tailor lessons to meet the needs of my daughter.

By far the best tutoring experience. So thankful for the willingness to work with me and with my crazy time line, schedule, and budget. Id recommend this place to anyone, kids or adults.

Where to start? Sylvan has been instrumental in our two childrens education. From magnet testing prep to getting in to a particular high school magnet program, Sylvan has been the extra help our kids have needed to get over the hump. Thanks to a couple of excellent teacher tutors and Sylvan - we are extremely grateful and happy with our childrens education.

My daughter needed a higher score in Reading to be able to enter the Magnet Program at Byrd. The score she needed was 50 and her score prior to attending Sylvan was a 49. After only 6 lessons at Sylvan, she retested and received a 64. This school totally surpassed our expectations.

Quality learning environment. Mr. Paul and Ms. Pam are extremely dedicated in making sure they hire the right people so that learning is fun and no longer stressful.

My daughter attended Sylvan Learning Center to get help in math because she didnt like the way I was helping her at home!
