Brandon Lawson was the plumber who serviced my home due to a cracked pipe from our recent freezing weather. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional and patiently answered all of my questions. He opened the drywall and found the crack. After reviewing the options, I chose to have the pipe capped. He is the FIRST professional of any kind in the Shreveport/Bossier Area I’ve used to actually do a finished job with excellent attention to detail. He also cleaned up after himself (another first) and cut a panel to put back on the wall to cover the hole. He takes pride in his work and is very respectful! Awesome young man and awesome work! Will keep Pioneer in my phone contacts list and be happy to refer Brandon!

I called Pioneer Friday morning about 9:30 or so. In just a short while, Bobby came out to inspect and diagnose the problem with my old unit. His thorough search found the problem, as well as about 3 or 4 more potential problems that would need attention in the near future. He took pictures, and explained clearly as we looked at what he found. He gave me options, and explained the work and cost of each option. In my opinion, his inspection just proved my money was going toward replacement, not repair. Bobby called the office, got me set for Eric to come show me options on replacement units. In a couple of hours, Eric arrived, reviewed my old Equipment and the notes from Bobby. He discussed replacement options, and explained the differences as well as the cost for each. I chose the standard unit for heat and air. He wrote up the purchase, processed the sale, and explained the purchase and installation, as well as warranty and service. Monday A.M. Drake and Marshall arrived to start the installation. I showed them the electrical panel box, the pull down stairs, the thermostat and the gate to the backyard, then I got out of their way. They were so organized, had 100% of the parts / products for the installation. They wasted no time, were very careful, and did an outstanding job! Im sitting here in cool, quiet comfort thanks to the nice, friendly, professional people at Pioneer. If anybody needs heat or air service, I HIGHLY recommend Pioneer Comfort Systems!!!

On about Feb 17 I called Pioneer to request service on my heater fan blower motor--not functioning. Within three hours I had a service man at my house. Great response time for sure. My unit required a new fan motor. A $89 diagnostic fee paid. On Feb. 23 they arrived to install the motor which took 20 minutes. I was called prior to the installation with the price--note that this was in the middle of the epic snow/ice storm and I felt I had no choice in order to heat my house. So after the fact, i searched on line for the retail cost of the exact fan they installed and prices ran from $97-110.00. I was charge by Pioneer $785.00. This is such a ridiculous markup. I spoke with a supervisor and was told basically that is our price. I got two other estimates from other related companies and they ran $350-400.

3 visits to unclog my rent house drain lines. Still not fixed. Spent 6k+ in past year with this company. Ill find someone else who can fix it right the first time. Unacceptable to say the least. To show how much they care I graduated high school with the owners. Terrible!!

Called Pioneer Comfort to inspect one of our three heating/cooling systems in our home in May 2020. They said inside A-coil was bad. The system was 12 years old. They recommended replacing entire system at a price I can’t recall. I had them just replace the A coil at a cost of approximately $3321.00. I was also sold a maintenance contract for approximately $500. Just came and did maintenance Jan 27, 2021. First maintenance man found 2 faulty capacitors total replace cost of $285. Also maintenance guy( who was very professional and actually does clean squirrel cage fans etc) said one heating system just quit blowing while he was checking it. We never noticed any issues with that heating system. He called on a HVAC tech who apparently just happened to be very close by and that tech upon inspection said we needed to replace the draft inducer. The cost to replace the draft inducer was $724.00 total. At the time of payment I told him I wanted to keep the original draft inducer and the tech seemed hesitant and actually had to get permission to leave our old “ faulty” part with me. He did get the okay and left the part in our garage. Upon my inspection of this inducer I see zero evidence of bearing failure or motor failure. In fact it looks almost new. If there was anything actually wrong I suspect it may have been the pressure switch which is commonly replaced with a new inducer. So to sum this up. We were charged $724.00 to replace a draft inducer unit that costs about $90 wholesale. Normal install fee should not exceed $150 labor. So if you are on this company’s maintenance program and they recommend replacing an expensive part I’d highly recommend getting a second opinion first.

Josh M. came to our home to service our A/C. We received a call beforehand, which I appreciated. He answered questions quickly, as he is very informed, and with great care so that I understood all that was needed.He was extremely neat, respectful of our home, and would wear a mask if requested.He loves his work and his place of employment. With the work he does in the heat, in attics and on roofs in the Louisiana summer and he STILL loves this job?Well that says a lot.If I have a choice in the future, I would absolutely request him again.Please consider Pioneer Comfort Systems for your A/C needs. Their service contract saves us money and gives me some peace that we can hold back a serious issue until it’s actually needed. I called last Wednesday to schedule an appointment for the following Monday to have my washer line drain looked at. At 1150am I called to see if they had an ETA on when they would arrive, the lady on the phone said the plumber would arrive at 1pm right after his lunch break. Well I waited all day, even took off work for the day and nobody came. Pretty crazy considering I even took the effort to schedule an appointment. Very unprofessional. Haven’t heard from them since.

We recently relocated to Shreveport and needed a plumber to replace an exterior faucet. We searched on Google for the best plumbing companies in Shreveport. There were many companies but only a few that were rated very high. We selected Pioneer Comfort System. The office manager was very courteous and helpful. She was able to send a plumber over the same day. The plumber arrived and patiently educated me about the issue and what must be done to fix it. Based on his technical knowledge, I agreed to allow him to proceed with the repair. He completed the work within the estimated time. I was truly impressed with his high quality workmanship. I use Pioneer for HVAC and plumbing, and they are very responsive and professional. I had a leak in ceiling from a/c drain line and they were here within 45 minutes on a weekend.

Every time that I call them to check my unit it was you need a new. When I called another shop for another estimate. They found the problem and that my original unit was still under warranty. I found it very interesting that the estimator was always just a couple of minutes away the two times that I have called them. Like they are planning on selling a unit before they even get to the job.

Professional & courteous service but the company is much too expensive. Quoted just under $1000 to replace a section of drainpipe under a sink that could likely be done in 3-5 hours with one plumber and one asst to bring him supplies. Do the math on that one per hour before calling them out.

As always, the service completed by Pioneer is again top notch. Shane the technician was very professional and knowledgeable. I would recommend Pioneer to anyone looking for an excellent HVAC company for servicing or installation. We have been doing business with them for years and would not consider using anyone else.

Air Conditioning now works. Parts should have cost $500 based on current market value. That leaves a labor charge of $1000. This served as a reminder to make sure you have your home warranty up to date.

Incredible professionalism. From the 1st phone call to explain my problem to the completion of the job. John Michael was our assigned plumber. He came in and assessed the problems went to his fully stocked work truck to make sure he had the parts for my 51 year old home. He then came back in with his electronic pad with an exact price for the job. Less than 2 hours later he was finished and everything was cleaned up and ready to use. All the while we were discussing some future work that i want accomplished when i remodel my bathrooms next year. John Michael is very knowledgeable and well spoken. Pioneer put in our new air conditioning system within the last couple of years. Recently it stopped working. We called and a service tech arrived the same day within a few hours. He quickly determined the problem was some old wiring in the house from our original A/C that finally failed. He scheduled a team of three techs to come the next day to run new wire in our attic and got the system up and running in under two hours. This was really important for us in that my wife is battling cancer, and keeping the house comfortable for her is vital to her well being. This is the second time that I have needed serious emergency air-condition repairs. Both times I have called Pioneer and they have responded very quickly and professionally. They sent a technician who was both qualified and competent, as well as very personable and both times, they identified the problem promptly and efficiently. Rather unfortunately both times I have needed major repairs, but nonetheless, they rapidly sent a salesman who appeared knowledgeable as well as responsive to my concerns about price, efficiency, & timely repairs. Now within two major repairs I have had to have both my heating and cooling units completely replaced. It was expensive, but they made it bearable with very reasonable finance terms and even managed to work in additional benefits such as duct work and additional insulation. The bottom line here is that from where I started, I have now achieved a probable 40+ percent energy savings as a result of my hiring them to do the work. Overall, I am very pleased...

Robin has always been terrific in customer service and calling when employees are enroute. This last visit I know she called on the home phone and I did not answer because I was busy with a grandson in my lap. She immediately called on my cell phone and asked if I was home! The heater went out at our home today. Unbeknownst to me, my mother froze most of the day. We are very pleased with the service. They put a liner on our sewer in the slab. No one else would discuss the liner. Older homes need an alternative to digging up around the house and jackhammering out the foundation. So glad Pioneer did this for us!

Pioneer installed an A/C system at my sons home and I was so impressed with the quality and speed that I called them for some work at my rental home. They showed up and went over all the work that needed to be done and addressed all of my questions and concerns. There was no waiting a week for a quote. Got on his computer in his truck and had me quote in 10 min. I accepted and the crew came the NEXT DAY! The crew was very respectful and took great efforts to keep the home tidy as they worked. We have been using Pioneer for about 3 years now. We initially used them to replace our AC & heating unit. Since then we have used them a number of times for our plumbing needs. They also come out every 6 months to service our AC & heating unit. I just chose them to replace our tankless hot water heater. Every person I have ever dealt with at Pioneer has been exceptional and they almost always come out the same day when I call. Their prices also seem reasonable. Since I started using Pioneer I made a friend who owns another AC & Heating company in town. I told him we use Pioneer and he said they are good which I think is saying something since they are one of his competitors. I always recommend them anytime someone asks for an AC & Heating or plumbing company.
