I’ve been to this shop a couple times to get cut. Most of the times have been great except for this time. Scheduled an appointment with the one dude with all the tats(Josh). Was scheduled for 11:00am. When I got there, there was already a dude in the chair which is fine. But right after he was finished with dude(11:35am) He went to another client like I didn’t have an appointment with dude. Then they wanna say I was a no show. No, your barber Josh is a goofy that doesn’t value his clients times. His cuts ain’t even all that. That’s why I’m giving a 1star. Go somewhere elseEdit: Then he send me a message after I left the review. I got no problem with the shop. Everyone else is friendly. My stance still stands on the goofy with no business etiquette

All the barbers are friendly and give a really good cut. I highly reccomend them to anyone looking for a new barber.

Walked in at 9:45 barber was cutting his own hair. Informed me they open AT 10 but the Barbers dont get there until 10:30...

On a whim I did a walk-in. The young man who was tasked with my bushy beard did an excellent job. First time to have a professional beard trim and I was very happy with the results!! Great job!!

I’ve been taking my son to this shop for a few years. They always did a great job. I’ve always walked in and was greeted with “Do you have an Appt? We will be right with you. It will be about such and such time.” Today. I got nothing. Came in the door with no acknowledgment whatsoever. Waited patiently for almost an hour. And we were the only ones waiting. I saw 4 guys open up. All they could do is look at us like to say “what are you doing here”. I am so very disappointed because they always did a great job. Proper customer service really goes along way.

Horrible. Just wanted to try them out so i called and they said i can walk in, just one person waiting. I showed up and was greeted with a bad attitude and was told to sit and wait. Barber got done with a haircut and says to me “maybe someone will get you”. No costumer service and they made fun of other customer trying to come in as a walk in when he was rejected service and left. Don’t go there, there are way better places in the area.

My sons first visit. I had to go in and pay. I was very impressed with the cleanliness! A guy named Steven cut my sons hair and he seemed very nice. My teenage son was very happy with his cut. We will go back. His cut looks great!

Abel was a delight! He gave my very scared 3 year old a cut, fade and line up. Not only does my sons cut look AMAZING, his professionalism with my child was what really struck me. He is so great with children, and you can completely tell he pays attention to detail and takes very much pride in his work. Ive found my sons new barber!

Worst haircut of my life. Went in, asked for a 2 on the sides and flat on the top. Also asked him not to make the taper on the top too narrow. He took a number 2 and just ran it all over my head. Most definitely not a flat top. I wouldnt even consider this a haircut. More like a butchered mess

Authentic cuts is the best place to get a fresh cut at, i just got graphics done there and wow i couldn’t believe how good it came out. The customer service is great. They have tv’s to watch while your waiting, great with kids for there first cuts. This is hands down the greatest place in Illinois to get a fresh haircut done at!!

Went in last week and got THE best service Ive ever gotten! All the barbers seemed that they know their stuff, but the barber named Danny was the best! He gave me exactly what I wanted and he didnt rush and in my opinion, he gave me the best fade Ive ever seen. He also gave me the freshest lineup. The place looks really nice, and really recommend everyone to go!

I went in and asked for a haircut seeing as the haircut for a man is only $25. The person cutting my hair asked me if I wanted a haircut and I said yes. As they were cutting my hair they lined up the sides and as they lined up the sides they continued down and hit the edges of my beard on both sides (which I didn’t ask for but didn’t think anything of it) then they began to clip my mustache (also without being asked to, but what was I supposed to do leave with a chunk of my mustache missing??) I then went to pay and was charged for a haircut and a beard trim which was $15 more. So all that to say if you don’t specifically tell them ahead of time not to touch your facial hair at all they’re going to go ahead and do it then charge you $40+ for doing so. They did a good job but I wasn’t thrilled about getting one pulled over on me. Not cool..

Usually Im very happy with the quality of this shop as Ive been going here for almost 2 years, but today I was much less than pleased. I asked for a bald fade and a small trim. My hair is usually at chin level so I was expecting a small trim to be somewhere around my nose or lip area. To my surprise, my hair was cut above my eyebrows. On top of that, I usually expect some wetting of longer hair so the cut can be more even. This time, completely dry hair, a few nicks of the skin, and no further effort into the cut such as a line up with a razor. However, the bald fade job was actually nice work and the barber was somewhat apologetic. I will not give up on this place yet but I was very unpleased with this visit

Great barbers and the best customer service I have ever received at any barber shop. I dont get my hair cut by any one particular barber due to the fact that any barber there will give you the cut you are looking for. Plus Im really bad at making the whole appointment thing. These guys know what theyre doing and I will be a life long customer.

Wanted a shaved head and my beard lined up. Missed long hairs all over my head and my beard looks like my toddler lined it up. Charged me $40 was in the chair for 10min maybe. Rush job.

Brought my son in on a busy Saturday because my nail place next door was busy and figured Id get him a haircut while I waited. Although they were busy, they got him in in 5 minutes and did an awesome job! His fade was on point and Javier was very accommodating and knowledgeable! We will be back!!

Arrived fifteen minutes after 10am, when they opened, because I had seen the comments that they dont always open on time. All the seats were occupied, but I was fine to wait. (Had tried calling ahead for an appointment but the phone wasnt answered either time I called.) I was the first person seated in line - four guys came in during the hour that I waited. They were all seated before me. I asked the last two if they had appointments, they said no. Not sure what I should have done differently, but if the minimum haircut charge (plus tip) is forty dollars, I shouldnt have to work this hard. When the fourth guy got seated (he had waited no more than ten minutes) I realized I didnt meet whatever qualifications the barbers were looking for and left.

I went today to get my haircut and everything was fine. but as I was getting my haircut it felt like he was cutting the back of my neck but I thought It was just me being a baby but I come home and neck is cut up.

Took my kids here for two different cuts, both got nice hair cut. Friendly staff and welcoming. Prices are a little high but worth it.

They dont even listen they just do it their way place is garbage u ask them for something so simple your mom could do and they give u something thats not even close to the style u wanted dont go here.

I guess the hours posted are if they feel like it. I show up over an hour before they close, sit down until 1 of the 2 barbers finishes with a client, and they tell me “you looking for a haircut? Sorry man. Me and this guy have somewhere to be so we are closing early.” Guess I have to take my business elsewhere.

Barber that was cutting my hair for almost 20 Years retired, I came looking for reputable barbers and found them. Appointments are very easy to make, the barbers are punctual and the staff is very friendly. Will recommend to everyone.

I went in to get a graphic done of a playboy bunny and the guy botched my hair so bad. The lines are crooked and uneven and you can’t even tell what it’s supposed to be. Do NOT recommend 👎🏼

I called to confirm they were open today because most places weren’t (due to extreme cold temperatures). They were very courteous and did an excellent job cutting my sons hair which had been grown into a horrible mullet 🙄. They restored his hair to a modern stylish cut and we couldn’t be happier!

Agree with the review who said hours are a suggestion. Called on Monday for a Friday morning appointment. The guy says 9am Friday with Ruben. I show up a few minutes early and hang out until 9. The door is locked. Waited until 9:10 and no one ever showed up to open the place.

Moved here from New Jersey, best barbershop Ive been to period. Clean, down to earth, and a great job at a great price! Highly recommend.

I asked the guy for a half fade on the sides and he gave me a half all the way around with no fade. He then went on to just completely mess up the top of my head and gave me the worst haircut I’ve ever had in my entire life. Then as I was checking out, he proceeded to charge me $26 for the haircut when the price board clearly says a men’s haircut is $20. Never going back again.

Grew out my beard and asked one of the barbers to fade it in with my hair. tho the fade-in is nice, I just realized that the lining is lopsided, annoying lopsided. (I can grow a full and even beard, so its not me) Now I have to shave and start over again. Thanks for having me waste an additional $15 for something I couldve done myself. If you offer beard cuts, make sure ALL your barbers can actually cut/trim/line-up beards. Or at least have them explain that its outside of their skill level. Guess Ill head back to Chicago just to get a simple haircut.

This place disgusts me! I went there to get my haircut and not only did they mess up my hair, the guy that was cutting my hair stabbed my head with the scissors. The other guys were talking about drugs and strip clubs. Would never recommend going here!

My 3rd time going there to get my sons hair cut. First time was no problem at all. Great cut, even got my beard lined up. Second time, we sat around for about 20 minutes then I just walked up to the female barber that was there and she cut my sons hair at that moment. Wondered what took so long in the first place. Third (and last time) going, I talked to the guy the guy that cut my sons hair the first time on a Saturday. He told me that he had some people ahead of my son and it would be a minute. No problem. I got his card and set up an appointment for Monday when I was there. The barber told me Monday is pretty wide open so thats fine. We agreed on Monday at 4pm. I called him twice throughout the day to confirm the appointment, even calling the shop to see if he was there when he didnt answer the first time. I was told he wasnt in the shop but should be there later. I called (2nd time) at 3:45pm to confirm the appointment and he didnt answer. I took my son to the shop and was told the barber wasnt going to come in today and that it was going to be an hour wait. Not going back to this shop again. Why have a card and set an appointment if the barber isnt going to be able to be reached. Very unprofessional.(KIND OF UNRELATED)About 3 weeks ago, I had an appointment with the female barber that cut my sons hair. The day of the appointment (9:00am), she texted me and said she needed to change the appointment to 11:30 am. No problem. It was later than expected, however it was still cool. I get to the shop and her station is empty. She texted me at 11:35 and says Oh, I think I forgot to tell you that I dont cut there anymore. Come to find out she is at another shop in Joliet (15 minutes away). How do you forget to tell your appointments you dont work at the same shop. Thats not this shops issue, however there is just a lot of poor service associated with this shop.

Most people in there are good people. I just got my hair cut today and the guy rushed so much he didnt even clean up my back. Then when I asked him if he could he said, yea sure then took the blade went super fast and rough. I mean he didnt listen to 1 thing i told him. He completly gave me a prison haircut when all i wanted was a trim on top and a fade on the sides.
