Attention to detail is key when planning an event

We hired Cutting Edge catering to cater our wedding in April of 2019. My husband and I were slightly cautious after reading a few negative reviews, but we have been in the people-pleasing business before and know that there will always be people who are unhappy with service. After meeting Chad and having our tasting, we were happy to choose Cutting Edge for our catering. Not only did Cutting Edge have a great variety of food options that were all delicious, they also went above and beyond helping with many of the small details for us and they assisted with setup and tear down. They helped eliminate all the extra worry of how things were going to flow and get organized in time for the reception to begin. Chad was very patient with us as we navigated our way around planning a wedding. He was very quick and to the point at responding to our e-mails. His invoices were very informative, as they were broken down for each separate cost. The staff that we had at our wedding were also very helpful and friendly! We would highly recommend!

Chad put together a great event. The food was delicious and I did not have to worry about any of the setup. The catering team took care of all the decorations I brought. Everything looked beautiful. I would recommend using CEC for any events. My friend loved the food so much she used them for her granddaughters bridal shower.

From beginning to end, Cutting Edge Catering did a great job with my wedding. We held the reception at the Horticultural Center and having a vendor that managed the hall and catering took a lot of the organizational stress off my plate. The food was very good, and the bartender was great. We only had one, as our head count came in just under the requirement for two bartenders but he kept the line for drinks short and I heard only good things about him!

I feel bad we didnt do this sooner. This company catered our wedding in Oak Park at the Elizabeth Cheney Mansion. They are great. They provided extras like a lemonade stand for our somewhat warm June 5, 2004 wedding. We dont remember that that was in the contact. Pleasantly pleased I was. The food was delicious: chicken apricot or orange roughy! I forgot our contact but he was a pro like the staff! Thank you very much.

Chad was very easy to work with and very accommodating for our 2 day event. The food arrived on time, hot and delicious on both days! Every person who ate the box lunch or the catered buffet meal had nothing but good things to say about the quality of the food and finished their meal stuffed and happy. We will definitely be using their service for future events

Used them for my daughters baptism and the staff was so friendly the day of the event. There were some hiccups like no high chair for my daughter and an issue with an appetizer we ordered but the staff was very accommodating. Chad was also great all the way up to the event I feel like I was in communication with him and constantly asking things if him and it was all worth every penny we spent! I would definitely use them again!

I have ordered from Cutting Edge Caterers on 3 occasions. Food has always been a hit and office personal very helpful. Having another get together later this year and plan to order again.
