We couldnt be more satisfied with Gordons. There was open communication from start to finish. Zach came out and diagnosed our issue and went out of his way to get us the part we needed. Called Gordons when my dishwasher failed. The receptionist was courteous and thorough. I was scheduled for assessment. A few days before the repair the technician was due to come out he called and said that he had reviewed my ticket and it was highly likely that I would need a new pump assembly; which needed to be ordered from Whirlpool with an undetermined shipment date. Rather than come out twice, he suggested to order the part and come out once. I agreed and appreciated the efficiency. He was correct and was able to replace the pump assembly. He also assess a board problem (fried connector) that was separate from the pump issue and had parts available to fix that as well. I had him check my microwave after he repaired the dishwasher and he was able to fix a switch issue at a very reasonable cost. Zach was competent, efficient, and practical in his repairs. He laid all costs out ahead of doing the work. I am very satisfied with every aspect of the work and work process and I will call on Gordons again if the need arises.

I was very impressed with Tony, the technician. He diagnosed the problem and quickly fixed it. The freezer drain hose was clogged and he cleaned it out. 07/08/21: I called to obtain a quote for refrigerator repair. The woman, Stephanie, who called me back was super friendly, provided the cost just to visit the home and took the time to obtain a rough estimate of the likely repair cost (she provided me with a range of the cost, not a specific number). I opted not to have my refrigerator repaired given the likely cost and the age of the appliance. Stephanie stated that was probably the thing to do given my estimated age of the refrigerator. She then provided a resource where I could buy a new refrigerator with a reason why I should try that store.Good service can be hard to find. Stephanie could have: 1. Been unfriendly or apathetic. 2. Too lazy to obtain a quote from a co-worker. 3. Tried to pressure me into getting my appliance repaired. Instead, she provided excellent customer service despite it not leading to my using their business at this time.

I had another company come out. The repair guy was here for 2 hours. He said it was the control board but it would take 2 weeks to get. I ordered one ($206.00) myself and got it in 3 days. That company never returned my call so I called Gordons. The Gordons tech (Zach) came out within 2 minutes he said Im betting its the door sensor switch ($20.00) he opened up the dryer and confirmed it. So I will be calling Gordons from now on.

Zach showed up close to the start of the window to repair our dryer, which I appreciated. He quickly and courteous diagnosed and repaired the problem and explained what kind of routine maintenance I can perform to avoid repeat problems. We had also asked to have our washer discharge hose replaced in an effort to eliminate an odor, but Zach, wanting to save us labor costs and drawing on his experience, instead cleaned out the filter and gave me instructions on monthly maintenance to keep it fresh. This was our second time inviting Gordons Appliance Service into our home (first time was for a water heater install). We will gladly ask them back for any other appliance work we need.

Had a terrible experience. The first day the guy showed up on time. Told me it needed a new mother board and would be back tomorrow. The next day he didnt show up or call. I had to call them and they said he would be out the next day. The next day he showed up and replaced the board. That was not the problem, he couldnt figure it out and someone would call me to schedule another tech to come out. Several days went by and I had to call them again. They told me they were not sure what was going on and call me back. This has been going on for almost 9 days. Not happy with the service and will not recommend.

I will not be using Gordon’s again. There tech, Chuck, was a great guy and extremely professional.I called two other appliance service companies and they were able to diagnose my problem over the phone based on the information I gave them. They said it was not fixable. When I called Gordon’s and told them my story with the two other companies, they lead me to believe they would be able to fix it. The women who answers the phone said they would either have the parts on the truck or could order them.It was a 70 dollar charge for the tech to roll my fridge out, say it was a coolant leak, and he couldn’t do anything about it. Not a bad hourly wage considering he was at my house for 10 minutes.Again, Chuck was great, but I got ripped off.
