Is there a negative star option?! This place is stupid. Their parcel drop is NEVER working right. Its constantly stuck shut or a sign posted saying out of order. The place is dirty. It looks like its never been cleaned. The staff has never been friendly, I dont think Ive ever seen one smile. The parking lot is small and dangerous to get out of because people speed through and cut others off. NEVER using this location again.
I walked in 10 minutes prior to closing time to find a single cashier helping another customer. He (the cashier) immediately rang the bell for assistance and help arrived within 10 seconds. The cashier was fast, courteous and accurate with my information. I was out the door with my receipt and tracking number inside of three minutes.
Horrible customer service. I’d give them no stars if I could. I received a call from the postal office due to their error of not delivering my package. she (the agent) asked for more information I gave it to her, then she started implying that I was lying then hung up. I called back (same woman) by the name of Evelyn, I asked to speak to someone above her, she said she’s a supervisor she’s not allowed to give out a number for grievances and hung on me again.. I wrote this review four days ago their still “trying to find my packages”. I received a call today from Evelyn same woman who hung up on me three times Saturday 6/26/21. 6/30/21 Same story, all I tried to do was answer her question, I was told I won’t be served and she refused to give me her post masters information.
Does not answer phone 9 out of 10 times. I received a message from Evelyn about my lost package and tried to call her back, can’t reach anyone or leave a voicemail. What kind of place is this?
Very bad service and if you complain- look out, you may not get your mail at all.
Horrendous service. Extremely rude and slow as hell. Pretty sure my cashier took a cig break mid checkout
I made a passport appointment for today here a month in advance, between when I scheduled my appointment and when I came in for it, they decided that this location would no longer take passport applications. and made ZERO attempt to contact me about the fact that they would no longer honor my appointment. The only notification I got was a sign on their door as I was entering the building for my appointment. When I got there, I talked to an EXTREMELY rude employee, who would not even look at my appointment confirmation, which had the address of the building we were in, and correct time, repeatedly told me I could not be here, and we dont do that, you have to book it online (which I literally did), and proceeded to hand me a post-it with the URL for the site I booked my appointment on in the first place. Just an awful experience.
DO NOT WORK AT A FEDERAL BUILDING IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO DO YOUR JOB PROPERLY AND CARE FOR THE PEOPLE YOU ARE SERVING! TWICE ive opened a research case and all they do is call me and say shoreline P.O has not received it an by the time im off the phone i have a email saying my case was closed. why are you closing my case when you havent got my package.they say they asked federal way weeks ago to check if it fell behind a machine? well how hard is that to check?! NOT TOO MENTION, i told them that on my app it says its at someones house in shoreline they continue to tell me that it has not left federal way. This is a elder person medication and they need it BADLY ! I can literally see my client breathing less an less. I told them that they didnt have a care in the world for this situation. NOT to mention my 2nd time calling i supposedly talked to a manger and he said to file a claim I said i didnt get insurance on something ordered once a month that is 35$ HE TOLD ME TO DO IT ANYWAY. most likely to get me off the phone! come to find out you cant file claims unless you have insurance on your object! TTTEEERRRRRRRIBBBBBLLLLEEEEE service. im typing quite fast igore the grammar mistakes im LLLLLLIVID
My son was born almost 10 months ago and I have been waiting for my Social Security card in the mail ever since. I have verified multiple times with the hospital and with Social Security that they sent out the card to the correct post office. I am now going through the headache of having to order my son a new Social Security card. USPS has told me that it probably got lost somewhere and that there is nothing they can do about it. We moved to a different state this summer and checked the mailbox every day up until the point of leaving and the card still wasn’t in the box. I have since forwarded my mail to my new address and I canceled out that PO Box in Shoreline in September. I sent them the keys via certified mail and my notice of cancellation but I’m still getting notifications to renew my box and pay. I’ve never been able to get anyone to answer the phone there and they don’t have a voicemail set up. I expected to get a refund for the days that I did not use as well as for my key deposit. It’s pretty simple and I’ve never had an issue before when switching to a different PO Box somewhere else and forwarding my mail. It’s been almost a year so needless to say I am pretty frustrated that I still don’t have my son’s Social Security card to file taxes or for anything else.
Scheduled an appointment 4 weeks in advance to get my passport process completed. They call me the night before to cancel. Would have loved to have known about this weeks ago. Always long lines. Don’t go here...
We were late to our passport appointment, but lady at the counter was keen to review our documents in free time between other appointments. We needed to fixing one of documents anyways, so got everything submitted in another appointment today. No issues, all went smooth.
Some of the reviews werent kidding when they spoke about the rejection of Covid safety practices and rudeness of some employees. Dont let this sour your perception of Postal Workers though! The vast majority of which are hard working, kind, public servants. This location though, seems to have some poor management. Also they dont have any signage on the building. Its almost like they dont want you to come there.
First off, I live ten miles away, a stone’s throw from another post office so I’m beyond confused why this one is the one that services my address.Secondly, they refuse to answer their phones. Entirely. You can’t call it. The phone rings twice and then an automated voice says “answering service off”Third? When you call and wait an hour for USPS themselves to forward your call to the local office... they pick up and then hang up on you.
The people working there are very uneducated and time consuming. I’ve been asked to go back and fourth at least 5 times. The lady with a bang and glasses took over 20 minutes to just to look at two papers. She had to make a call to the agency and help her do what she’s trained for. A terrible experience. The lady is too unexperienced to be working there
Dropped off a package in the drop box that had a tracking number heading to Utah, it was never scanned as being received and was finally scanned after it arrived in COLORADO 3 days later! Avoid this location.
Waited in line, but I expected to. Good customer service, helpful staff for todays visit.
This was a great small post office near me. Great prices and very curtious staff. I love shipping USPS. Its always easy, and the workers are great. Im making this my new go to place for my shipping needs.
If I could give less than 1 star I absolutely would. I have only been in the area with this post office for 6 months and Im infuriated with how incompetent everyone is. Ive been waiting on a package for 3 days and I have tried calling 8 times with no answer just today. This office needs to be closed. Ive called other locations that have picked up after 2 rings. Theyre going to hear it from me tomorrow when I go in to pick up my package.
Worst post office Ive ever been to. Absolutely bad attitude and slow af.
I’ve never had a bad experience here, and don’t know what the negative reviewers are referring to. It’s great to have a USPS post office here in Shoreline.
Since I dont know how difficult their job is, Im not going to criticize. They are helpful and polite, and I will continue going there.
Huge waste of time with this post office! Came here for passport application submission. The first guy told me all of my material was complete and the picture was OK but I have to book an appointment. That’s fine. Came back the next day for a 4:30pm appointment and ran 10 minutes late. Yes it was my fault to be late. But the woman wanted to close on time at 5pm and wouldn’t take my application. She made up excuses by telling me how the passport photo did not meet the standard and the background wasn’t white enough. The first guy at this post office thought the photo was fine. The agency I went to subsequently in Lake Forest Park also accepted my photo with no problems. Other people who took the passport photo and plan to travel with me didn’t run into any white background issues. After I insisted, the woman then made up excuses by telling me how she needed to call a passport agency to confirm my picture is OK yet the agency has already closed at 4pm. One, I am not sure how one would describe how much off white is too off on the phone. Two, if the agency closes at 4pm and you have to call the agency before accepting applications, why offer a 4:30 appointment time slot in the first place? What a waste of time with this place! 2 trips and 2 hours of travel time. lies and excuses. I would rather have been told she needed to close on time straight up.Also, the information on the lake forest park passport agency provided by this post office is outdated too.
Unfortunately my customers have expectations & I cant just say oh, closing up early today, no shipping, It really sucks to drive across town to drop off packages only to find that the posted hours on Google and on the door are incorrect. It is 2:30 on Saturday and it is closed. There is a steady stream of customers coming to the door.Oh and behold, a postal worker emerged. Asked him to take packages and he said Nope, closed up early today, have to go another couple of miles out of my way . Does he put a note on the door,,, nope, just.let people try the front door then go around inside to the lobby door so they can peek in and wonder, what in the hell is going on?
Employee named Ron was being VERY RUDE at multiple customers when I was there including myself.
The worst usps customer service everThey dont even speak english and they lough at your face if you dont understand ....im moving my p.o.box to another location ..
Hard working staff and thankful they are still able to help us during these stressful times!
I believe there are three people working for the front. One Philippine lady she is nice but the other lady I assume she is Korean, and the other white guy are really having attitude while serving. I have no clue what’s going on while don’t have happy experience over here. Hope they will adjust that to supervise those two workers. If they don’t like their jobs, then they should not capable to have those positions. That’s my opinion.
Location is weird for a post office but theyll be moving by December, Ive been told, to a permanent location. It used to be just a few minutes from my house, but now takes 10 minutes to get there. The staff is not too bad as others have said, at least from the 3 times Ive been there.
Contrary to reviews, I found the customer service reasonable at this location. I was serviced by Ron who send to know the system and work efficiently despite a pretty steady stream of clients through the door. I was shopping a package domestically.
DO NOT COME HERE. It is a terrible location. Long wait times, rude staff, and no social distancing during the pandemic. Was forced to wait in a large group of people while the staff went on 1 hour lunch break despite having made an appointment.
I have never had a problem here. Short lines, reasonably quick service.
Horrible there’s more then one floor tho. #Skeet
Never any open parking available at this new location, I end up circling the lot three+ times looking for a spot. This is the only reason they dont get 5 stars.Ive shipped over 500 packages from this post office district in the last two years, never had any problems other then things occasionally not being scanned in until they arrive at the destination office.
Worst group of carriers and store personnel. Terrible customer service skills in responding to bad carriers. Carrier constantly leaving our mail boxes open.
No wonder USPS is going out of business! Every one of their 3 employees is incompetent. Loss of mail, lazy, over charges, refuses to retrieve package even with slip, wrong directions on packaging & forms of how-to-ship, sends people to Mountlake Terrace location rather it is accurate or not just to clear the counter, gives customers run around, refuses to accept military ID as a form of identification, very very rude, generally not helpful & makes a non issue — a bad situation to worse!
This post office should be closed. It is inadequate in every way. There is no service; there is no functioning phone; there is no drop box since one must park to use it and there is often no parking. People who work here are marking time to collect their retirement. Non-functional P.O. So sorry.
Employee seem unhappy with life. I go every 3 months to put money on our company. Bulk rate account. They never seem to know what I want or how to do the transaction? They always say we don’t do that.., them I say well you just did 3 months ago and then I tell them the step by step process they did last time? It’s weird and frustrating!
The customer service at this post office is horrible. Even for government work. They really need to close this place, or hire new people who want to do a job. Now I can see why the U.S. Post Office needs to go. Fed Ex or UPS may cost more but it might be worth it for the customer service alone. As you can guess my experience there was less than stellar. The USPS is garbage.
Worst post office eve . Never as answers phone. Incompetent workers. Ridiculous. Would give negative stars if I could.
I went this morning to turn in my PO Box keys and close out the box. I thought it would be an easy experience, but based on past experiences at this post office, I should have known better. The lady input the information for my box and told me about the refund I would be receiving since I was opting out of the box early and had pre-paid for a year. She told me she needed a supervisor code, but there was no supervisor there in the store. She then gave me a piece of paper for the North City Annex in Mountlake Terrace, told me it was just a five minute drive away and asked if I could go there and tell them I needed a supervisor to get my refund for the box. She said they would be able to process it there. So I went. I drove to the Annex (which is really odd - and meant for carriers, not patrons) and met with a supervisor. The supervisor told me he would have to key in the code on-site and asked if I would meet him back at the post office. I returned to the post office and met the supervisor there who keyed in the code. I was able to get my refund! WELL. The refund was issued as a money order because there wasnt enough cash in the till to issue the refund (even though I had originally paid for the box with a card and typically, refunds go back to the card of purchase). I then had to make a bank run to round out this 30-40 minute cartoon-worthy nightmare. Just when you think this is the worst post office in history, they set the bar lower.
Terrible service ... I was trying to ask a question about holiday mail to santa, mainly about the addres. I was not very clear after reading the instruction online. The lady said, if you did not know the address, how should I know? I was shock. I certainly know my address, but i dont Santas address that USPS is making. She simply told me go back and fill out all by myself, she cannot help anything. Then, she just turned to the next person. In short, terrible service, try a different location if you have a choice.
Horribly organized. Actual delivery is not consistent with the online status. I missed my signature required delivery a few weeks ago but they DID NOT leave any notice on my door (even the website delivery status clearly said they did), so I have to make tons of phone calls and visited a few local USPS stores and final got this address. Yesterday I missed another signature required delivery, I requested redelivery through the link on the notice and signed it and put it on the door, and THEY TOOK THE NOTICE TODAY without delivering my package, I am like ?????? what are you doing there????
Im not a violent person, but today, this guy working the front desk almost had me flying over the counter to slap him. What is with the attitude!? Stick him in the back to sort mail, because one day someone will not be as measured as I am.
Raheem, hope I spelled that correctly, was a massive help. I had a package way too large for my car and he decided to help me out by using his jeep and deliver the package. That is what I call true customer service.
1.The post office employees at this location do not know their own policies and emphatically told me I was wrong when I was not.2. They have lost several of our packages over the last 4 years.3. The carriers have broken our new mailbox by shoving packages that do not fit into it.4. Yesterday they put mail into the mail slot half way and one of my packages was stollen and the packaging shoved back inside. Also, they did not put all the mail all the way into our lockable mailbox and we found mail down the street.5. They do not always leave slips for packages that need to be picked up from the post office.6. They are quick to blame customers for their problems.7. Some of the employees are rude from the beginning of a conversations and do not listen to explinations.I only deal with this post office because I have to. I often pay extra to avoid compainies from shipping to the post office. I am looking forward to moving outside of this post offices zone in a year.
The worst. !First, You can’t find it and the signage or lack there of, just SUCKs - worthless, does not help.I wasted 2 precios hours looking for this damn place - finally someone recommended I go to the PO in MLT. Which I did - wrong ! Back to Aurora- finally found it 😬Inside the nicest man/poor abused postal employee was a rotten customer service guy. Though, I don’t know whether I can blame him so much. I mean who could be cheerful if they had to sit here and deal with the abuse that the frustrated / angry / now hostile postal customers heep on the poor guy. It’s unfortunate that the managers here must be too stupid to put up a decent sign of any kind to help cudty find the place. So maybe he was doing as well as could be expected under his circumstances. All in all - It was a fitting end to another time wasting DANCE with the post office.* PS: For comparison even if this was a temporary site I guarantee you fed ex would have a sign-up - a big one.** PPS : another frustrating thing !I let this whole thing get me so frustrated and worked up that I have now wasted another five minutes writing is stupid overly long review/therapy session. You’re welcome
5:25 in front of the door: closed. Ive been trying to get a package from them. Hopefully they dont lose it like the previous one I was expecting.Edit: They ended up sending it back to France. Then got a call from them on Friday, they had my packages sitting on a shelf in this office for over 2 months...
Well, they have gotten worse since they moved. The first problem I immediately noticed was that they split their operations. Meaning the carriers annex by Mountlake 9 severely needs a blue drop box for their customers. The main retail post office moved clean over to 185th and Aurora, it used to be at 175th and 15th. So, now I cant make the morning mail pickup that used to be at 7:30am. Aurora is too far away from my area, I live in Lake Forest Park by Lake Washington so really, Kenmore or Lake City is closer.SUCKS!
Im so glad we STILL Have a postoffice here in shoreline!!!!!! Location is little crazy right now but at least its available!!! Thank you Postal Service. Ma You always be here!!!!!!!
Keep loosing my important mails and boxes. I don’t know how to fix this problem.all customer services even the supervisor not helping.
Called to them for ask help or help them with my package, because based on my tracking the package was getting missed sent, it goes everywhere, called them to help them update my address if they cant read it or address got erased for some reason since i have the tracking number, but it takes me already 2 hours on the phone on hold waiting someome to pickup until my phone died, 2 FREAKIN HOURS
Never answers the phone. Calling their number just gets ring-ring and then Answering System off.
Dont ever come here if youre in a hurry. Theres a line out the door more often than not.
Horrible service is a given, but racism is unforgivable. Women working Sat am should be fired immediately
Horrible customer service unfortunately. Also, good luck getting anyone on the phone when you call.
Scheduling an appointment for applying for u.s. passport went through. When i came they said that they dont do it. Huge waste of time.
The people in there are extremely rude, especially the asian woman. She wont even answer your questions.
I’ve never dealt with a woman so rude. She couldn’t find my mail (which my carrier insisted was there) I asked for someone else to help me and she denied me and then thanked my husband and not me. When I called her out on it she just rolled her eyes and walked away. This is why I avoid the post office.
Just the most laughable customer service ever. No greeting, and might as well have told me Eff off.
Short hair woman straight up ignoring my question while i was waiting other to pick up it items.
White guy working today 3pm has bad attitude and gives horrible service. FIRE him IMMEDIATELY!
Our mailman cant seem to read right. Keeps delivering to us wrong addresses.
Hours for Saturday says closes at 3:30pm. Its 3:10pm and the doors are locked.
9am and they still aren’t open because one employee didn’t show up and the other lady forgot her keys, supposed to open at 8:30. Must unprofessional post office I’ve ever encountered and the employees are very unhelpful and rude.
If I would give 0 star I would give a 0 horrible service, unhelpful staff and rude.
We went here to try to mail something back to WA, DC. We were told they couldnt help us since they didnt have stamps. Um, what?
Totally unmarked storefront. Not visible from the parking lot let alone the street.
Hours do not match website. SAT closes at 3 PM
To reiterate another review, here on Google it says the post office is open until 3:30 on Saturdays, but when I arrived there was a sign on the door saying it closes at 3.
Only pickup time is 5:30pm? Seriously?
They lost our mail and took a month to deliver our mail to our PO BOX.
Stupid
The worst! Cant get through to these people when needed, never answer their phone!update:....a month later I get answering system off when I try to call them about my packages that have been out for delivery for a week now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bad service!
Bad service
Customer service sucks
Their attitude......
Rubbish
