When my Acer computer’s hard drive crashed the Sunday morning before Thanksgiving, I was in a bit of a panic. C. E. Computer Repair was the only place that was able to help. Chris (the proprietor) was quite friendly and sympathetic. He installed a new hard drive at a very reasonable cost. He is quite pleasant to deal with, in person or on the phone.Due to the severity of the hard drive crash, data recovery was subbed out for advanced data recovery for expert and specialized work. This is still in progressC. E. Computer Repair is easy to find (near the Shoreline Costco), with good parking and convenient hours.When the battery on my iPhone finally dies, I will bring it to C. E. Computer Repair for a new battery.

Chris was super polite, courteous, and helpful when replacing my Lenova laptop screen. He guided me to the screen I needed to repurchase and gave me a flat labor rate so I knew he wasnt overcharging.

I contacted Chris about a laptop which had been water damaged. He was very quick to respond and straightforward about the whole process. When we dropped off the laptop he was very professional and explained all this issues that the laptop could have. Unfortunely my laptop was pretty damaged and it would cost to much to repair. He was always very upfront about the price of fixing the laptop even sent me links to the correct parts to see the lowest possible price. Being that my computer isnt being mass produced no longer the prices for the parts were pretty pricy. He was very patient as I made my decision on whether to fix it or not and explained the pros and cons to me thoroughly and at the end he was still able to provide me with the hard drive from inside my old laptop so I was able to get back all my files.

I had a broken external hard drive that they diagnosed for free, then repaired the same day. They also clearly explained that the drive was just old, and that I should replace it as soon as possible, which I appreciated. The tech I talked to was knowledgeable and friendly, I plan to return the next time I have computer problems.

Horrible! Worst tech ever!! Minus stars!!!I normally dont go to places with a lot of one reviewer with 5stars. I was told that they are most likely their friends and family to give their business a boost, but it was only open at the time, so I took my laptop.Chris, the owner/tech said Dont worry Ms, I can get the data from your hard drive and reinstall Windows 10 within 4 hours. If there is a problem, I will let you know So I spent 4 hrs in Aurora area doing nothing expecting him to work on my problems. But I went back after 4 hours, he wasnt even at the office. It looked like he ran the software to run itself for a while. On a phone call, he said he tried to fix, but couldnt do it. He couldnt give me the update in an hour or so?? I waited 4 hours for nothing. All he said was he wasnt going to charge anything. How about my 4 hours?? I took my laptop to NCC computer repair, and he gave me an estimate within 15 mins. How long it would take to complete and how much was going to cost, and he kept his promises.This tech/owner is not only incompetent but also has a lack of professionalism.Edit after the owners response: when I called you you would be there at 1 pm, but I showed up at 1:30ish, you were even there. You took out your dogs for a walk. I had to wait for you at 10mins.And you didnt ask me to wait for 5mins. I waited for 4hours, so another 5mins wouldnt be a problem. And who eats lunch at 5:30 pm? Another lousy excuse.Last, I didnt expect you to fix it that day. YOU SAID it would take 4 hours to fix. If you told me to come back the next day, I have done it. I was nice to you until you wasted 4hours of my time.

I found C.E. Computer Repair after my laptop screen started only showing the color pink. They were responsive and provided me options with cost so I could make the best decision. They ordered the part and stayed in contact until it was ready for repair. I would highly recommend them.

Chris and his team will make sure you are happy with all your repair needs. They will take their time to fix all the bugs in your electronic system that you requested and then explain things they found that may or may not become an issue. He is very reasonably price in parts and labor. When you have an issue with your electronics stop by or call them to have your round needs met.

Eight months later, I have returned to have my computer repaired. Chris took his time, he replaced my hard drive only to conclude it was not the issue. The technicians are nice and professional. They helped migrating my Windows 7 Lab top to Windows 10 the same day. Lab top works fine and dust free. I would recommend this to everyone.

These guys are THE NICEST. Chris attempted to help me with a solution over the phone to save me time and money. He was very candid and willing to help on the spot. Unfortunately my computer needed a little more TLC than a phone call could provide. I ended up stopping by the shop just one hour before closing assuming to just drop off my computer and come back whatever day it was ready. Chris checked me in and immediately started diagnosis. As someone who’s family owns a business, I know what it is like to have “emergencies” drop by at the last minute. I was blown away by the amount of effort and accommodation I was shown. I was fully prepared to leave my computer for an unforeseen amount of time when in actuality, I walked out of there a hour later with a working computer, a discount on my bill, and a new business I can trust.

I had the guys at CE install a new 750w power supply, graphics card and ssd into my tower. They were professional, friendly and very quick. They had the job done within 24 hours and the wiring and everything looks great. Definitely recommend.

Called for a quote, they told us itd be $120 max to repair our laptop. Once it was in their hands, they charged us $60 for a diagnosis and told us itd be another $350.

I had attempted to repaste the thermal paste in my Dell Inspiron 15 7577, and was having an issue with the screen not booting. Couldnt figure it out by myself so I went to an expert! They helped me find that my M.2 ssd that had Windows on it was faulty and had crashed on me. Once I knew what the issue was, I just had to get a new ssd and put Windows on it and bam back to gaming. Never would have figured out out without help.They were great and knowledgeable, quick and solved my issue!
