I absolutely love Blue river dental. They have such an amazing staff, they are sweet and try to get to know you personally. Dr. Crandall is the best dentist Ive had in a long time. If youre in the market for a new dentist, this is the place to be.

I cannot say enough good things about the entire staff and experience at Blue River Dental. Aside from their very clean and state of the art facility; they care about their patients and you can genuinely tell they are putting your health in focus. I could go to a provider much closer to my home but, I choose to drive to Shelbyville because of the are definelty standing out above the rest. I genuinely look forward to my twice a year visits and super bonus is that my overall oral health has improved tremendously since I started with them in 2018. Visits are always on time. Procedures are explained in detail. Entire office is state of the art eliminating return visits to complete a procedure. DDS are very polite and carrying.

Very caring and competent staff! A few years ago, I had a front tooth break off on a Friday night, the day prior to starting vacation. Dr. Pumphrey came in early on Saturday and fitted a temporary crown allowing me to fulfill my vacation plans!

Due to Covid and my own my own negligence, I hadn’t been to the dentist for 18 months. The exam that I received today at Blue River Dental was much more than I ever expected.To begin, Cassie spent over an hour with me to do a thorough cleaning, X-rays, and scans. She also spent time explaining what my issues are and educating me on how to properly care for my teeth. Her professionalism, “bedside” manner, and knowledge made me feel immediately at ease. She really took the time to answer my questions, listen to my concerns, and discuss how we should proceed.Then Dr. Pumphrey came in to discuss my treatment options. She remembered me from several years ago when I had been a patient there! She explained my options, as well as what to expect from insurance, and from that point we made a treatment plan. It was all very straight forward and simple. She also did a head and neck exam, as well as the oral examination.Finally, Jessica sat down with me to explain my statement and my estimate. She also worked with me to set appointments for treatment that would allow me to get the greatest benefit from my insurance.This office has state of the art technology in addition to a top-notch staff, both clinically and in the business office. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. There was no judgement, only a positive plan for getting my oral health back on par. I would highly recommend Blue River Dental to anyone.

Excellent staff and atmosphere. Reasonable prices.I needed an extraction on a tooth that had fallen apart. The doctor gave a thorough analysis of it to see if it could be saved before concluding an extract was for the best. The office set up an appointment for the following week and worked with me to maximize the amount of work they could do under my insurance plan.When I came in the following the week, the whole staff had dressed up for Halloween! The entire office had a warm welcoming atmosphere. I never felt so relaxed in a dentist office before. After the work, they actually lowered the bill a little because one of the teeth did not need as much work as they initially thought.Overall, a major recommendation for anyone in Shelbyville.

I felt welcomed from the minute I walked in to checking out. Cassie is the beat dental hygienist I have ever been to. I have never had someone take the time to explain everything to me. Cassie even took time to do some education on flossing techniques and different products to help with oral hygiene. I received very personal care and would recommend Blue River Dental!

Great dentists & staff, pleasant experience overall! I recently visited BRDC for a cleaning for myself and my 4-year-old son. We were in and out quickly, and the hygienist was even able to get x-rays of my sons teeth while mine were being cleaned. Very efficient! We both got good tips for brushing and feedback on best ways to floss. Were excited for our next visit in 6 months, and Im planning to bring my 3-year-old son along for his first check-up as well!

Blue River Dental delivers extreme quality care. Their course of treatment provides support for the important path to overall health by addressing and maintaining good dental health. I no longer have on-going dental problems that threaten my heart health. After my initial course of treatment and a good maintenance schedule, I am happy to say the cost and ill health I had struggled with for years are in the past.

For years I have been dealing with crooked teeth and gaps between several. The gaps kept getting worse. The staff at Blue River Dental suggested I look at getting crowns on all my front teeth. I finally decided to make the leap and it is one of the best things I have ever done for myself. The staff was fantastic thru the entire procedures. When I showed my wife the temporaries she was amazed and had no idea I was considering having this done. Even though I spent several hours in the chair, several times the staff always made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Because the one gap was so large they added a bridge with an extra tooth. So I have 12 new crowns and one new bridge. I would recommend Blue River Dental to everyone who is not comfortable with their smile. Doctor Pumphrey and her staff are the best.

Dr. Pumphrey has invested her time and capital in the latest modern technology. I came in with a broken crown and expected to wait 2 or 3 weeks per usual to have the new crown fitted. In under 2 hours, I walked out with a custom fitted crown because she has the machine to make crowns in her office. I was very impressed with the technology and her patience in explaining and showing me everything. I would highly recommend Dr. Pumphrey and her staff to anyone looking for a dentist!

Best Dentist EVER! I found out about Blue River dental from a friend who is in the dental business. I needed an implant after 2 failed root canals! It was a long process, but Dr. Crandall gently worked with me throughout the whole process. Once the implant was complete, it felt very natural almost immediately! It was like it was my own tooth! I travel from the NW side of Indianapolis and it is totally worth it!
