We started doing business with the Childres Agency forty years ago with Dave’s dad, Owen. We have both home owners and auto with State Farm. We have every confidence in the State Farm Company, but even as important is the service of the Dave Childres Agency. He has always personally taken the time to offer suggestions for the best coverage with the best price. Over the years we have been very lucky to have few claims. But Dave and his staff have professionally and efficiently handled all details. Even when a claim is the responsibility of another individual’s insurance company, they have had our back and made sure we were adequately compensated.The Childres Agency is not just a good neighbor but like a good friend.

We have been with State Farm for approx 27yrs and with Dave Childres State Farm for at least 15 of those years. We have all of our insurance needs,( House, Vehicles, Barn etc,) covered thru Daves State Farm office.Over the years we have received surprise calls from Dave, Kelly, and Kim about updates concerning our insurance. They have offered advise on how we can save money by doing this or that, what kind of coverage we need for our barn or swimming pool, and calls to say, Hey State Farm is lowering your insurance on your vehicles.Recently our daughter, who has one of our vehicles, was in Houston, TX for a summer internship. A tree fell on her Honda CR-V at the apartment complex. She used the State Farm App to get the claim started but a few days after our daughters incident we had an incident with our CR-V, so two claims in a matter of a few days, wow!! Over the next few days I had to call Daves office a hand full of times and Kelly and Kim were SOOOOO helpful, they made the process super smooth which made us feel better since our daughter was so far from home.
