Just disappointing on how little they care. Shouldnt medical professionals care a bit? I am 11 weeks postpartum now. At my 6 week check up I asked to be put on the patch birth control. I have been bleeding non stop ranging from spotting to bleeding more than when I left the hospital after having my baby since I started the birth control . After explaining this and how I normally only have 3 periods a year and they are extremely light and that i didnt have this issue after my last pregnancy. The office simply messaged me that it was normal postpartum and if I want to talk about my concerns i could make an appointment. I was feeling more like myself and healthy 3 to 5 weeks postpartum than now on this birth control. Going to my PCP yo get this resolved because they just cant be bothered to care.
Very uncomfortable and unpleasant experience. She was a woman herself, I couldnt believe how aggressive she was without explaining a single thing. This was 3 years ago and Id never had a pelvic exam. Would NOT recommend.Edit: I checked and her name is Amy Gumieny, APNP.
I’m usually not the type of person to write reviews but I thought maybe my experience may help someone else make their decision on where to go for Prenatal/Postpartum care. Prevea has been great in some areas and horrific in others. My Pregnancy care was great. I never had any issues. However my delivery was the most horrific and terrifying experience I have ever had in my life. Following delivery I’ve been experiencing a significant issue that not one doctor is willing to listen. All I ever get from any nurses/doctors is an “I am sorry” or a “wow you had a crazy delivery” or “I hope things get better for you”. I do not receive any treatment to fix this complication I am now experiencing. Each doctor that I have seen postpartum has told me they can fix my concern after I have more children. Which, after the delivery that I experienced makes me never want to have another child. And still, I do not get to make my own decision about my body and it is the most frustrating thing to have to deal with. Especially since the kind of delivery I experienced never should have occurred in the first place. I was given a temporary fix which had failed the moment I walked out from the appointment. Extremely frustrating and saddening postpartum care here.
Dr. Lashinsky is the best doctor I’ve ever had in my life! I love her so much literally so sweet, caring, honest, positive and inspiring! She got me through my worst anxiety and did a C-section the best I ever had! She was like having a sister or mother by your side. She truly shows passion and love! I hope she never relocates because I NEED her for the rest of my days!
Excellent Service. Friendly staff
