This place never fails do be horrendous. I would make multiple reviews if I could. This time I was waiting in line, hadnt noticed that someone else was in front of me because I was on the opposite side of the table, Jacob calls her up and helps her which is fine, but then when she is done and I go to try again he said that I have to go behind someone who came in after me. I understand if I didnt follow their proper line it would make sense? But just ask me to move? Even another customer thought it was rude to do so. Ive already reported staff for being rude, the whole front staff should be replaced.
Horrible service, have run into different problems all with the post office not fulfilling their end on making sure my packages were found and delivered. Most recently the website doesn’t update where my package is, I called this office they said they didn’t know where it was and haven’t tried to contact me for a few days now. I understand packages being misplaced but they can’t even follow up, there’s no professionalism here simply lazy workers.
Ordered tobacco products for years and never have they asked for a signature. The one and only time they actually knock for one is the one time when Im not home and they refuse to deliver the package because Im not there to sign. Received an email stating I can pick up the package myself. Went to the facility hours later before they closed and surprise surprise, the package isnt there. Way to mess up the hard work all those people along the way put in to get my package here a day early to be shot down by these guys. The guy who looked for our package was nice. I just cant get over USPS pocketing years worth of $6 signature fees when they never asked me once yet today they did while I wasnt home smdh.
It never fails!!! I spend more time standing in line at the post office then I do waiting at the doctors office. 8 people in line one cashier. I totally understand why the USPS is being replaced by smaller businesses that provide the same services.
Flat out pretend our address doesn’t exist when it comes to packages. Returns to sender without even approaching the house. Absolute nightmare of a post office.
The people there are always helpful & nice. We went there for my husbands passport, and that was handled wonderfully. The photos we had there were the best passport photos weve taken.PS one review said they dont have a postage stamp kiosk, but they do.
The staff is always very helpful and nice
Was able to quickly and easily find exactly which shipping solution I was looking for without needing any help, its all out in the open once you walk in. When I went to pay, the worker was kind and helpful (even though I created more work for him on accident). Thank you USPS!P.S. I see other people werent fans of the workers but when I was there this past Saturday afternoon I had a great experience with the guy who was working.
So far all good experiences for me. Staff have been polite and helpful with me sending international parcels. Decent wait times. Always ample parking. Keep up the good work!
My carrier is rediculous at our apt complex. She carries in alot of packages and buzzed no one and people alone with me were waiting on medication to come in the mail... Seriously cant do your job go to McDonalds..
If I could give no stars I would. This place a garbage fire. I’ve lived all over the US and I’ve never seen such a poorly run postal location. Outdated, slow, rude. So many descriptive terms come to mind and not one is pleasant.
Staff is generally pretty friendly or at worst indifferent. Not sure why, but the lobby isn’t open 24 hours like other places I’ve lived. You pay for a P.O. Box, you should be able to access it any time you need to.Kinda weird. Also, they don’t have an automated kiosk for some reason, so you might stand in line for 20 minutes waiting on a bunch of people buying stamps and mailing basic packages.... when they could be doing it themselves. So basically, they need to install kiosks and keep the lobby open 24/7 so people can take care of basic postal business when it’s most convenient. You know, like after work.
In and out quickly. Everything is clearly marked and easily found. My packages for the most part arrive on or before estimated arrival times.
The lady was so rude to me that I left there crying. I thank God that Im from a small town where the people at the post office are so kind and helpful (Im from the UP). If you hate your job that much, its time to quit.
Was put on hold immediately by lady, waited over 20 minutes until I hung up to call again. Second time around phone rang and rang and rang and rang and rang and rang......no one picked up nor was I sent to a voicemail. Busy day? Understaffed? Lazy? Horrible service and experience, I guess I’ll try again tomorrow.
To be honest... I feel like if your not a regular they are more rude. The more I go in the better it seems to get.. maybe because I have less questions?? Either way, feel they need to be more friendly.
On S 16th I would get my mail at 1:30 Everyday with out fail! Now I dont even Get my mail, not joking, is this not a federal offense?
Always been good to me here, definately must be a thankless job! I think its the best govt. institution we have.
If you call the phone line there is no answer. Also, when I’ve made trips inside, there were two separate occasions that the workers at the counter freely gossiped (loudly) about other employees of the Post Office, while there were people waiting to be helped. Very unprofessional. :(
Have been waiting on hold since 9:30am when they opened and have not gotten a response. Nearly 6 hours on hold this is unbelievable. Dont waste your time calling.
My last two mail carriers, I swear, couldn’t read or even play ‘match the weird symbols’. I get mail from across town, neighbors mail... no, I haven’t recently moved unless a quarter of a century is recent. People at office are rude, they do not wish to actually solve the problem, they just want to tell you how you are wrong and your stupid... when they are the ones delivering mail to the wrong places... I make the plural because I must assume I’m not alone on my drivers route. I have seen other drivers smoking in their mail vehicles, it’s just bad. Scrap it altogether or scrap it and hire all new people
The lobby hours are not convenient - I live in Manitowoc but am the treasurer for a Sheb club with a Sheb PO box - I was surprised when I got to the post office at 6:30 pm on a Tuesday and it was closed! I went back when I had time on Sunday morning and it was closed. Sure makes me appreciate Manitowoc post office, the lobby is open from 5 am - 10 pm every day - including Sunday.
I cant believe how many employees here including the manager (Gregor) are so clueless about how shipping work. I purchase about $65,000 per year of shipments. Ive literally had pre-paid shipments refused at this branch asking me to pay more because they didnt understand why if I purchase shipping through Amazon, its cheaper, than if I purchase it at this branch alone.I have also been refused by an employee before not to scan in my mail because it was 5:10, and they close at 5:30. I literally had to drive to the grocery store to get my shipments in.The only competent employee Ive ran into their is Beatrice.Overall, unfortunately this branch does not care about customer service, and they dont train their employees. Im currently trying to work on deals with UPS and FedEx.I strongly recommend not going to this branch and going to a different one, or avoiding USPS altogether.
USPS driver b*tches when she has to drop off my mail at work. They are just lazy, its your job to deliver mail. Just do it. I work 5 days a week and thats why I have my mail sent to work. Each time she complains about having to drive in because there is no mailbox. My coworkers at the manitowoc store get mail delivered to them daily without a single complaint. Today they marked that the store was closed so they didnt have to deliver my package, when Ive been here all day and didnt see a single USPS vehicle. Absolutely ridiculous. Stop being lazy and do your your job.Update: the USPS gave us our own mailbox, thank you. I wont rate you badly because one of your postmen suck. Thank you.
Wish the post office would stop delivering for Amazon so that UPS or FedEx could deliver my stuff on time.
The office on North 9th street in sheboygan no longer has the self serve where you can send out small packages and their Saturday hours first start at 930 what a joke. I dont bring my packages with me to the grocery store like they want us to. Why is this office even open seeing they have such stupid hours. Postage keeps going up with service on a major decline.
Worse service I ever have with usps
I called to get a question answered about changing my address and it took 35 minutes on hold to talk to an actual person. Once I got to talk to them, she didnt even seem sure of what she was telling me.
ALWAYS HAD GREAT SERVICE THERE!! WISH THEIR SHIPPING DEPARTMENT WOULD OPEN AT 9:00AM THOUGH!!!
The supervisor and the station manager cant even answer my question about a phone number. Your job is to know phone numbers or redirect me to one. How do you not know about headquarters phone number.
Rude counter people, and they get confrontational with my elderly parents about cities not being real, which is 200% not true. Plus, for some God forsaken reason they did away with the automated postage machine. Lame. Ill drive to Falls instead.
I have always been treated good and workers were friendly.
They never answer their phone and always rude to people.
I believe they are all rude and they never answer the phone when people call.
Short responses, the employees look at you and talk to you like you’re the dumbest person they met when you incorrectly write down an address or or forget to add a number. Post office employees have been one of the most unintelligent people I have ever met.
These people are some of the rudest people EVER, always in a crappy mood, always talk to people like theyre dumb its rediculous. They need new workers ASAP
I always have to hunt down my mail between my neighbors and my place, nor does my outgoing mail get picked up. I mean cmon.
Every single time Ive come here the employees are always very short and rude with me for no reason. This place sucks.
We were going on an extended weekend vacation and decided to put our mail on hold. I went on line and filled out the hold form, received the confirmation that the mail would be held and the mail was NEVER held. How can this happen. Now what do we do when we go on vacation?
Dont try calling the Post Office, they dont answer the phones.
Got my passport rolling, no prob.
Fast and friendly
