Was just here this morning. Was immediately greeted with a smile, service was quick and easy. I think some people expect top of the line bedside manners, but this isnt really the place for that. They mainly perform drug screenings and normal lab work, both of which take very little time for the patient to be involved. With all that being said, no one was rude whatsoever, I could simply tell that the technician working was very busy and there werent many others working in the office. I noticed one other person, who seemed to be an administrative assistant.
I’ve been twice recently and my mother has also been multiple times. The staff here are very curt and not friendly. My mom had issues with the lab communicating results to her medical provider. Do not recommend if you have another option.

She treated me like trashI have spent the last 5 minutes literally crying in the parking lot! How dare her! In front of my 2 kids too!
Be prepared to wait and staff doesnt have a clue what they are doing

I dont know where the poor reviews are coming from. This is not my usual lab, but I had to use it due to requirements for a specific type of lab work I needed. The staff was so nice and accommodating, the facility is very nice and clean, and check-in was extremely convenient. The phlebotomist was also very good - no pain!
I went yesterday for blood work the young lady who drew my blood was so nice. I get a little queasy sometimes and she was so nice and patient with me. Very much appreciated
Scheduled a FASTING appt a week ago for today at 1115a. Took time off work, found a sitter for kids bc of pandemic and drive 25 min for scheduled appt for NO ONE to be there. Empty parking lot. Why would you schedule appts when your not open? Or if by some crazy chance they closed early why would you not call a scheduled patient. Now I have to take more time off to come back on Monday (last day I can do these labs) and drive back again 25min each way. Poor customer service. If I didn’t have to come here I would NEVER use your labs again. Clearly no regard for others times or lives.

Terrible service. I called ahead and inquired about what I would need and making an appointment. The woman on the phone was clearly frustrated and told me she was there alone, and the afternoons were busy and she could not take appointments. I dont even know why she said all that, but it makes you uncomfortable and like you are a burden before you even get there. Their website says they are out for lunch from 1215-115. I arrived at 1100 and was told they would not take any more drug tests until after lunch. I had to wait another day. The next day I came with my daughter and was then told no minors were allowed and she could not wait in the waiting room. It just feels to me like they will find any reason to NOT accommodate you. Now I have wasted 2 days just trying to pee in a cup so I can get to work. I intend to drive an extra 15 minutes to another location rather than dealing with these employees who clearly do not want to do their job. Also, I tried to call customer service, or a manager of some type and you can not get through to an actual person. I would guess this lack off customer service is a systemic issue.
If you get in as soon as they are available, you will have much better luck and a better experience. I just went in for a drug test for a class, and the facility handled it within 15 minutes of opening its doors. Their staffing is short (only one person was on duty to collect specimens today) but the que was also short. Call to check availability in advance, and dont get mad if you have to wait.
If I had the option to give zero stars I would. I had to go for a drug screen for employment. I called 2 days prior to going in and was told no appointment was necessary. I also asked if I needed to find childcare for my daughter. The lady I spoke to said that child care was not necessary and to come by anytime without an appointment. The day I was going to go I called to confirm the hours and was told I could come in anytime before 3:30pm. At that time I again, confirmed I could bring my child and was told yes. I showed up at the facility with my daughter at 2:50 PM. The extremely rude girl at the front desk told me she was no longer doing drug screens the rest of the day and that I was not permitted to bring my daughter. When I asked her why I was told to come anytime before 3:30pm and a drug screen could be done and now it cant she stated it was because she was by herself and didnt want to do it. When asked why I was told several times I could bring my daughter and now Im told i cant she said that i had been given incorrect information. Incorrect information 2 different times on 2 different days? I asked if an appointment needed to be made and she said no but she could not guarantee that drug screens would be going on at the time I came by.Dont recommend calling or going to this location since they can decide on a whim they arent going to do their job and they cant seem to get their information straight. The employees are extremely rude.
Havent been pleased with the customer service, I must say. Both on the phone and in the office, the employees behave as though you are interrupting their day and they are doing you a giant favor by helping out. Furthermore, received a bill in November of 2016 for lab work that was done in December 2015; thats 11 months later. The bill was for nearly $600 worth of tests, claiming that my insurance company only covered about $15 - and they had my *old* insurance listed, which I hadnt had since December 2014. I never even provided that information to them, so Im not sure where they got it. I sent over my current insurance to make sure they had the correct insurance. I never received a response, just another invoice several months later threatening to send my account to collections. When I called the office, they stated that they had my correct insurance listed and that it only paid the amount shown on the invoice. I called my insurance company to verify, and my insurance company had paid FAR more than the $15 listed on the bill, and they were showing patient responsibility of less than $40. They had to call Labcorp themselves to get the issue straightened out; apparently they were trying to bill me for costs that my insurance had already paid. This is an illegal practice, by the way, not to mention extremely unethical.

Fast and friendly service. The first time I was here it was not like this. But, I am very happy with me most recent visit.
This place has terrible service! My daughter is 17 and needed a drug screen for a job. She went to this location because it’s the one she was told to use. She sat in the waiting area (not busy at all) for 45 minutes before going to ask how much longer it would be. When she asked, she was told the internet was down and they couldn’t do it. Who knows how long they would have let her sit there if she wouldn’t have asked. They then gave her the address to another Labcorp in Overland Park, only to be told when she got there, that location doesn’t do drug screens. That lab gave her another address to go to. That level of incompetence is unacceptable.
Very rude. They only do drug screens from 1 to 4. They dont say that anywhere on the registration form they give you. You just have to magically know. Really inefficiently run place so good luck.
Just as one of the other reviewers said. Horribly rude, impatient and condescending staff!!!! These people need to find a job that doesnt involve other people! They screwed up the first test and upon returning because of their mistake, they acted awful and tried to make an issue about coming back in at 4:20. THEY CLOSE AT 4:30!!!! NOT 4:20. NO apology for THEIR error! Filthy unprofessional dump of an office! I dont see how they are trusted to do what they do in the medical PROFESSION! This office should be shut down!
This location is incredibly rude and disrespectful! They move very slow and act like since its a Saturday morning and they dont want to be here that you should be miserable too! I will never visit this location of LabCorp again!!!
Friendly and helpful staff! The LabCorp office is in the Shawnee Mission Patient Center, so it is a little hidden, but their are signs once you walk in the building!
I have gone here several times over the last couple of years. After going to Quest Diagnostics due to insurance, I will not go back here even it is an option. The office is not run well and there is no point in making an appointment.
Called these people and asked if we could get a drug screening for a new job, only to show up and them tell me that they dont do drug screenings??? Couldve told me that over the phone!
