Five stars! Ive never actually visited but I have it on good authority that even five stars is not enough for this slice of heaven. Dont tell anyone else or the secret will get out and then it will become too trendy and popular and then Ill have to find another city to not visit and give five stars to.
A must-see for those who seek a destination that’s simultaneously relaxing and experiential. Visitors can soak in the full charm of the city by chatting with friendly residents, taking in the numerous art galleries and enjoying the local cuisine. My family and I particularly enjoyed The Dining Room’s pot roast, pie and shortbread cookies, as well as their 24-hour coffee and tea service. Vacationers can also expect to find an abundant variety of city-wide festivities held throughout the year, including pottery demonstrations and sales, theatrical performances, concerts, workshops, pinewood derby races and film festivals held both indoors and out.
My family has always enjoyed the fine food and entertainments the city of Mt. Holly provides. Were it not for the onerous taxes and the military parades, we would probably move here. Highlights of any vacation to Mt. Holly include races with tiny wood cars, birdhouse slums, the best amateur non-poker card playing in the state, the pottery museum, the serial killer hall of fame and Forensics Files marathon, knitting masterpieces, QSL card library, and the all around friendly reception to guests of any stripe. Dont miss a trip to Mt. Holly, Minnesota.
Ive visited Mt Holly on a number of occasions. The townsfolk are so welcoming and friendly. Although the Mayor can be a bit of grump. And dont ask about whats in the basement. Its best not to know.
Minnesotas sweetest slice of creativity, community, and down home goodness. From pinewood derbys to pottery sales - this place has it all. Read about it in the Register.
A thriving town, despite dubious leadership. Truly a testament to the persevering spirit of Mount Hollys citizens.
The best variety of cake in town! Lovely people and great entertainment.
A five-star, four-person little town in a first-rate third-ring suburb.
Small town ambiance. Big city action.
Lots of parking and character(s).
DOWN WITH THE PATRIARCHY
The kind of place youd like to take a six-month vacation, twice a year.
