Frank is a professional, he is concern about the customer and what works best. He gives great advice and is very good about hair goals. My look has been improved since shes been my barber and the compliments I have gotten from people. She makes sure my line is sharp and that I am satisfied before I leave.

Stephen has been my go-to barber in the Twin Cities for years. He does a great job with the haircut and charges a very fair price. I also really enjoy catching up with him when Im in the chair.I drive to Shakopee from St. Louis Park for my haircuts because Stephen is that good.Since Im writing this in December 2020, I should mention that Shakopee Barbers is taking Covid-19 seriously. Masks are required and are worn by BOTH the customers and barbers. Hand sanitizer is provided. Appointments are required. And all of this is very much appreciated.

Frank, Frank, Frank, the man, the myth, the legend. I first stepped foot into his shop about 6 years ago, I walked in & he was still working on another customer, said hi & I sat down. A few little moments passed & I asked Frank do you accept cards? he replied cash or checks so I left to an atm down the street & came back rather quickly. It was my turn on the chair, but before that I had to ask how confident he was with shaving heads, because I wanted to shave it all off & keep only my facial hair. Lets just say that what he replied, is the reason Im bald 6 years later.Frank is such a chill guy, hes been cutting my sons hair for about 4-5 years now. My son & I have nothing but appreciation for that man.His fellow barber, Tim has always been there too & hes a cool guy to have in the shop alongside the Captain.This barbershop, HIGHLY recommend. Great old school barber vibe. I usually get cut by Tim, who does a great job and takes his time making sure everything is blended properly. Cuts are just shy of $20 and cash only, so make sure you have at least $22 or 23 to leave a few bucks tip.

The guys are also very friendly and funny. I am honestly willing to drive an hour and pay a little more than usual to get my hair cut here in the future. Its well worth it.

I wanted to say that there was one defining characteristic of Franks that keeps me coming back, but in truth-- its everything. The atmosphere is casual and friendly, Frank and Tim both make it clear right away that they want you to enjoy your time at their Barber Shop. The haircuts are phenomenal. These guys are masters of their craft and they take extremely good care of you, both in cut and style of your hair and in conversation. Prices are more than reasonable-- only slightly more than the high-stress chain salons for the service and quality you would expect from locales charging $100 or more. Everything you want from a haircut. Cannot recommend highly enough

The place was pretty hard to find as it has moved to the back of the building it used to be in. My 2yo got his hair cut here. They did have a special booster for him and he sat very still. The guy cutting did a good job on the bottom but when it came time to blend the top he did terrible.I had initially asked for a longer cut but the guy said my son didnt have enough hair for it, when his hair was almost 4 long... So I just asked for a simple cut that was longer on top thinking okay they just cant do stylish cuts. It was $20 for a childs cut which is ridiculous in the first place as it took all of 15 minutes not to mention they didnt even blend the cut well at all.

Try finding a barber shop that still uses hot foam and razor to clean around the edges. It is difficult, even at those places that call themselves a barber shop. Franks is the only barber around that I could find that still does. You also get a real cut as opposed to a fru fru salon. I recommend.

Real barber shop. Not fancy, no TV or gimmicks. Straight razor neck after haircut. They trim eyebrows, mustaches, and beards. Frank has expanded to two chairs. Galen, previous owner, takes over on Mondays.
