Gowdy Brothers Aerospace put our Section 333 Exemption together and submitted to the FAA. I was impressed across the board with their service, though irritated with the time the process took, I do not believe ANY of the delay was at the hands of Gowdy Bros. I have read some negative reviews on here and have to say, I think they are misplaced. From the time I contacted them initially and paid the bill, of course, in about 24-48 hours I had everything in front of me that would be need to be submitted. After I added my portion, and sent the review documents back, they submitted to the FAA regulation exemption process within another 24-48 hours. I have have checked all of these dates to make sure they didnt slack. They did not! The FAA has received thousands of submissions. They had thousands of submissions in line when I got in line. Im not sure if Gowdy Bros was able to get me an exemption any faster than anyone else that submitted that same time, I know they saved me time by the comprehensiveness of what they prepared. I also felt comfortable that I would be approved on the first submission, which I was. Gowdy was a good price when I engaged them initially. Others were charging 2-7 times more for the same service. My exemption is very comprehensive and professional. The FAA took 70 days longer than expected to approve my exemption. The numbers tell me this was in line with other submissions, if not a good bit sooner. Stephen and Zach have spent time on the phone answering my questions and guiding me through my questions. They are willing to give time to their customers as required. I will likely use their services again and intend to keep them on my list for guidance in this emerging industry.

This training course was a great resource and helped me gain a thorough understanding of the material in order to pass the Part 107 test. Well worth the investment. The staff at Gowdy Brothers is extremely knowledgeable always available to help and professional !!

I am currently between jobs and needed to use my drone to help support my family. I took the Gowdy Brothers Aerospace video training course, used their resource center and took their practice tests. I started studying on a Sunday and passed my FAA Part 107 test 4 days later! I went from absolutely Zero knowledge of weather maps, air space regulations, VFR maps etc. to passing with an 80% correct score all thanks to their excellent training!

Unclear why so many reviews are 5 stars. Service was meh. They oversold how quickly the 333 would be approved by the FAA a few times. I understand it is outside their control, but they repeatedly touted their relationship with the FAA as a reason to choose them. I think there are other services for a fraction of the price which probably would have ended up with us getting a 333.Additionally, when we were going to miss out on a job because wed been waiting 4+ months for our 333, they offered to let us fly under their 333. It felt like a conflict of interest. They positioned themselves as getting their paperwork streamlined and always getting approved, but then wanted hit us up for extra $$$ to use their exemption.There were generally responsive to my emails/inquiries. If I had to do it all over again, I would have gone with a less expensive option.

I would recommend using Gowdy brothers, they were very helpful and know what they are doing. Just received our approval and moving forward! I am sure we will continue using their services in future! Keep up the good work!

Ive had a very bad experience, to the point where I had to open a case with my credit card company in order to get my money back. My emails and phone calls have been ignored. Ive spoke to many people in regards to this and Im not the only one with this issue. Sounds like this is a typical thing theyve done to clients outside of Minnesota. They seemed like they were truthful company to trust but thats not the case. Id highly recommend avoiding them at all costs. It took me well of 2 months to have my credit card company settle everything.

Received my 333 today. Gowdy Brothers has been an outstanding company to work with to help me get my 333 exemption. It was a fairly simple process from the very beginning. Just fill out a couple of forms and they took over from there. They sent updates occasionally explaining that the FAA was way behind and kept me informed. Whenever I emailed them they would normally answer the same or next day. A top rated company to do business with.

Customer service was great in the beginning, but now nonexistent. I paid $1500 for two waivers with no approval. Ive made numerous attempts over two months at contacting Gowdy Brothers with no response. Please return my phone calls.

I submitted my paper work for the FAA 333 exemption myself, not realizing the complexity of it all. After about 4 months my application was denied by the FAA, they gave me a month to reply or start all over with a new application. As you may understand I was desperate, after waiting 4 months and being denied. I then decided to do a Google search ( FAA 333 exemption help ) The first number I called wanted $4000.00 to $8000.00, the second number was the Gowdy Brothers, the rest is history. After about 1 month of contacting the Gowdy Brothers I had my 333 Exemption. Highly recommend the Gowdy Brothers. They also helped in registering my two drones.

BEST decision Ive made, since discovering I needed a FAA UAS certificate. Took 9 months evaluating whats out there to help get this done and even tried a few that were just flat out duds. Gowdy made the navigation thru this whole process very easy and painless....except me having to study. LOL. once I got to 100% on all practice tests in the program, I knew I was ready to take the FAA test. BTW, the webinars took away a lot of haze thru so much data, that Id never been exposed to. I have had a terrible experience dealing with Gowdy Brothers. It has been over 1 year since I purchased several section 107 waivers. The applications were denied, and I have yet to receive any updates from Gowdy Brothers regarding reapplication, refund, or any information at all despite several emails and phone calls.

We were told originally that a pilots license would not be required if we filed our exemption with Gowdy Brothers. After waiting 6-7 months that was not the case when we received our exemption from the FAA. Gowdy Brothers told us that the person who misinformed us was no longer working with them and that they would help us find licensed pilots to fly for us. The job post they made for us generated some interest but ultimately it was not that helpful. Since that time I havent heard anything form Gowdy Brothers.
