The Laser Center of Maryland is amazing. The laser treatments are done by experienced Doctors and they use the most state of the art equipment. Their staff is so helpful and caring. The results and services offered are second to none. I had years and years of sun damage and they helped me understand how the laser treatment will help. A must for anyone looking to improve their skin.

I had a procedure done 2 weeks ago by Dr. M. The procedure was put behind a couple of hours due to a machine malfunction. Dr. M. was able to have the machine fixed, continued with my procedure and gave me a complimentary facial for the inconvenience. I received the facial yesterday (my first one ever) and would highly recommend KC. I will continue to use that office for any additional procedures in the future. All of the staff are extremely nice and helpful. I love that they have Monday evening hours. Thanks again to the staff and Dr. M at Laser Center for everything they do!!

I thought Id be done with acne at my age, but sadly its still a thing in my 50s. KC recommended a Hydrafacial for acne and the results were fantastic. My breakout calmed down with none of the irritation that I usually experience after a traditional peel, and my skin felt so refreshed. I highly recommend the treatment. KC is an absolute expert, and she has such a kind and pleasant manner. Go see her!

Dr. Jared, Dr. Ross and the rest of the Laser Centers team are absolutely fantastic. They are so warm and genuine as well as extremely knowledgeable and patient when it comes to explaining the best course of action to help you achieve your goals. I absolutely loved my treatments with them. the results are obvious and continuing to show over time. I will be going back again for other cosmetic surgery procedures and laser lipo treatments in the future. I am also looking forward to getting a laser skin resurfacing facial there as well. I highly recommend their services.

I love Dr Jared! He truly is the only one I trust my face to. He does my botox, filler and the most natural lips ever. He will never give you that “overdone” look. . I recently Underwent a laser treatment for those 40 year old under eye lines. Like he said, with time the collagen has been building and the lines are fading. I couldn’t be happier with his work. The laser hair removal treatments at Laser Center of Maryland are amazing! Amanda, the woman who does my treatments is always so beyond nice and professional. It’s so easy to be comfortable around her, she makes sure to get every area throughly, let’s me know before she raises the lasers frequency, or any test on the skin before starting. She is definitely the reason I’m giving 5 stars. The Candela Gentlemax Pro laser is the way to go, and the results (I only received 3 treatments on each area) are worth the price 100%.

I took toe nail treatment 3 treatments, it did not work.Don’t waist your money and time going there.

What I dont understand is how you can go to these places for a service, you not asking anybody to do anything for free. They turn uou away because they dont feel like you need the service as if overweight people dont feel bad enough already for the situation they are in. This place suck!

I wouldn’t go back here. The 5 stars are for Dr VanAntwerpen because he was a very nice and friendly doctor and seemed to care. Front desk when leaving demeanor was very unfriendly and off putting. Cancelled my follow up appointment would not come here again, need to work on their customer service.

What an awesome experience!!!!! So I went in this morning for my free consultation and I have to admit Im very impressed. The service and staff were Amazing! Polite caring and so humble I felt really comfortable. They really know what theyre doing and the doctors know what they are talking about. When I say that theyre caring I literally mean they care. Its not just about money. They care about the customers they serve and really want you to achieve you goals and feel confident. I really appreciated the fact that they made what couldve been an incredibly awkward and embarrassing situation very comfortable and the fact that they understood just made all the difference. I had a VBeam Perfecta Pulse-Dye Laser treatment in the fall of 2019. I decided to write a review now that I realize how outrageous the prices they charge here are.Dr. VanAntwerp charged me $950 for one session of the VBeam Perfecta; after calling around to other places in the Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia area, I learned that one session of a VBeam laser typically costs $400-$500. It was disappointing to realize that I had tremendously overpaid, especially when the procedure was such a negative experience.In addition to the prices, I felt Dr. VanAntwerp did a poor job with bedside manner. During the consultation appointment, when explaining that the side effects of the laser might include some bruising, Dr. VanAntwerp joked If people ask what happened to your face, just say that youre trying to learn how to listen to your husband better. This joke about domestic violence was in extremely poor taste and enforces a culture of misogyny and victim-blaming. I wrote it off as a one-time mistake, perhaps a slip of the tongue, and decided to make an treatment appointment anyway. However, on the day of the treatment appointment, Dr. VanAntwerp made the same joke again! I feel this says something deeply problematic about his character and who he is as a person.Additionally, Dr. VanAntwerp is an internal medicine doctor, not a board certified dermatologist, yet he routinely performs these invasive cosmetic dermatological treatments. After telling my regular dermatologist about my laser treatment and experience, he warned me to stay away from places that allow non-dermatologists to operate lasers and other potentially dangerous treatments.Overall, it was experience that left me uncomfortable and unsatisfied. I cant speak for Dr. Jared Mallalieu or surgical treatments, but I would emphatically suggest that you stay away from Dr. VanAntwerp for any laser or cosmetic dermatological treatments.

Professional staff... Attentive, flexible scheduling, offer financing...staff will go over everything in detail. They offer no promises but tell you what you can expect and deliver. Ask for Mercy!! She is the best... And the Doctors .... The older Dr. talked with me for over an hour about different things not even related to the services. They care about the person and not just the money... Would highly recommend them for anyone looking into their services.

I am very happy with the results of the liposuction I had done on my chin two weeks ago, even though I have not finished the second laser tightening treatment. Pleasant experience all around, I cannot recommend them highly enough. My chin looks much better. This is a much better treatment option than kybella.I plan to get further treatments from them going forward, including male chest reduction.

Today I went to the Laser Center of Maryland for a Miradry treatment. The procedure was done by Nurse Diane. Diane is everything!!! I told her my fears upfront. Dr. Van Antwerp is great. I had a rejuvenate of my skin in 2007 and people still think Im younger then I am. Im going to be 52 in January and people tell me I look like Im in my early 40s. Im very happy. This is a great family business too

This is a great laser center. Ive been here on at least 3 different occasions, and each time was better than expected. You will get REAL RESULTS here. No gimmicks, and lower than market pricing.

The staff at the laser center was awesome, loved the front desk. The office was tidy and so clean. Ask for Mercy the nurse for hair removal she made me very relaxed and at ease.

Back for my second laser lipo procedure as I was so thrilled with the amazing results from the first time! Dr. Mallalieu is absolutely superb and made me feel very comfortable. He did an excellent job and was very thorough and answered all of my questions. I had a lot of questions! I could not be happier with his work. I searched very hard for a great PS and am so happy to have found them. The front desk people are equally as kind and accommodating. I am slowly but surely getting a mommy makeover, and am now scheduling a breast augmentation. I love the new me and I love the Laser Center of MD. I recommend them to everyone I know!

I absolutely love the Laser Center of Maryland and the entire friendly yet professional staff. Dr. Van Antwerp has been treating me for over seven years. Dr. Van Antwerp is the only doctor I trust to biopsy on my face and not leave me scarred. Earlier this year he removed a growth from above my eye without leaving a mark.I was so excited to find out that my Laser Center of choice was offering Miradry. I asked the staff about the Miradry procedure. They were upfront with the entire process and advised me that some people may need a second treatment which I already knew from my research. I decided to have the treatment done the next day with Nurse Mercy since it was a holiday weekend. Everything turned out exactly as planned. The procedure has changed my life; I am so happy I had it done at the Laser Center of Maryland with Nurse Mercy.

Saw these reviews and really felt compelled to leave my own. I recently had the miraDry procedure done and can honestly say it has changed my life. I have dealt with pit stains since I was 13 years old. I had even resorted to putting womens pantie liners in my shirts! Talk about embarrassing. Dr. Van Antwerp and his entire staff were excellent. I was bit a nervous, but they made me feel comfortable and explained every step. An overall fantastic experience. I highly recommend this procedure AND Laser Center.

I had lipo around my mid section and am pleased with my results. Dr. Mallalieu is a very talented surgeon. I went to many doctors to try to find the right fit and believe me when I say that Dr. Mallalieu is great. He takes time and explains things to you, he listens, is compassionate, and most importantly he is not pompous and arrogant like many others in that field. I would highly recommend others to consider by Mallalieu.

Came in to have something on the side of my head (temple) looked at and possibly biopsied. The staff at the center was courteous, professional and ensured my experience there was above reproach. Dr. VanAntwerp explained what exactly he was going to do, how it was to be done and what to expect. I felt nothing, literally. it has been a week and I cant tell there was ever anything on my temple. I came to Dr V because in 2009 he found skin cancer on my wife when others failed to identify and diagnose it. He saved her life before it needed saving.

I have been to the laser center a few times to get procedures done and every time I come the manager is always talking about her life and husband to the front desk and the whole office hears this and I think it is very unprofessional. She also can be a know it all and very short with people so I hope if you come here you dont have to deal with the manager!!! VERY RUDE

I went for a free consultation about two years ago. The staff was friendly, and of course, beautiful. My first thought was...yes, I want to look like her! Ok, be realistic lolMy experience, once in the exam room, felt rushed as if I was taking up his time. The doctor didnt even examine my face up close, but rather talked very briefly the procedure from across the room. This took about 10 minutes. I was handed the cost sheet & it was over.The idea of having such a serious procedure(s) to my face was quite serious for me. I guess I expected a closeup view by the doctor?Id attempted to have laser throughout my life, but had fears of scaring more from the Laser. Suffering from acne since 12, then scaring, I was teased/bullied; called, pizza face or crater face by schoolmates.Then being 56-57, my face felt as though it was melting...now time for a facelift as well in addition to, Fraxel Resurfacing.The cost was extremely higher than imagined.I hope those who had positive results are happy.

Did 3 treatments, my hair on my upper lip has gotten worse. Got the package off Groupon. Paid a little over $100 Drove 45 minutes away to this office for my treatments that took only 5 minutes. At the end of my treatments I was asked if I wanted another treatment for permanent hair removal.🤔I would have to pay for that one in addition to what I had already paid that was SUPPOSED to be permanent hair removal 🤦🏻‍♀️ I am very embarrassed by this issue that I’ve suffered from for years and this place made it worse 😪 🤷🏻‍♀️Heartbroken 💔

Reading the review and so many people said good things about this place. I recently went and had a appointment and it really upset me how everyone who works there treated my family so bad. These people are racist and never have I experienced such a thing m. I will never go back to this place. Worst staff ever!

I was thinking about scheduling a consultation.But the way the company responds to the reviews are a complete turn off. Rude and defensive instead of offering to help and apologizing.

After reading the other reviews I almost did not go to my appointment but I did anyway. Let me just say I am a bit confused about the other reviews. I had a terrific experience I went there to have a few moles removed. I have been to a dermatologist in the past who cut and scarred me. Dr. VanAntwerp used a laser and removed them painlessly in about 5-10 minutes. I am fully healed now and you cant even tell where they once where.He is also helping me remove the scar from the other Dr. as well.He along with the entire staff are so friendly. I would totally recommend this place to any and everyone!

I cant believe these doctors, Ross and Jared could nt not tell me what is the name of the issue I had on my skin they just asked me for $2000 to do laser co2. I was about to accept but decided to see other doctor and She gave me a gel for $10 and after ten days problem was solved. These doctors, have no information or they do but just they want to charge you for CO2 laser.

While I did have a pleasant experience during my consultation and procedure with Dr. Mallalieu, I dont believe the results from my gynecomastia surgery are entirely satisfactory. Several months after my treatment and allowing my chest to fully heal, the problem has been reduced, but still remains.Unfortunately, excision of breast tissue is not performed alongside the laser liposuction treatment at the Laser Center. This only treats pseudo-gynecomastia which is caused by fat alone, and does not resolve cases of true gynecomastia which involves enlarged breast tissue in men, along with the fat tissue. Because of this, I have had to consult several other plastic surgeons for a second surgery, and to properly rid myself of gynecomastia.I have nothing against the Laser Center of MD or their great staff, hence the three stars. All the people involved in the procedure were kind, friendly, and professional. However, I feel people seeking treatment for gynecomastia be aware of this, and keep this in mind when looking for a doctor for treatment.

Read This Before You Go To the Laser Center of MD. BAIT & SWITCH!10/9/2015: This is a response to the Laser Center of MDs recent reply to my husbands review of my daughters MiraDry procedure. The Laser Center stated in part We offered it for $1595.00 throughout the summer as a special introductory price for one treatment at higher energy settings.THEIR REPLY IS THE FIRST TIME THAT ANYONE FROM THE CENTER HAS COME CLOSE TO ADMITTING THAT THEY DID NOT PERFORM A LEVEL 5 TREATMENT ON MY DAUGHTER. THIS IS A TRUE BAIT & SWITCH!!When my daughter received the treatment we were told that she was receiving level 5 treatment. During her follow-up the next week the doctor that spoke with us also stated that she received a level 5 treatment. He showed me the handwritten medical notes from the technician that performed the treatment on my daughter. The fact that my daughter started sweating within a week was an immediate sign that she did not receive the level 5 treatment that I was told that she received.The Laser Centers recent reply to my husbands review is the very first time that anyone from the Laser Center came close to admitting that she did not receive level 5 treatment. No one ever told me or my husband that higher energy levels were used during the summer only.In fact during my treatment in April I was told that the Laser Center was the first center of its kind to pioneer the approach of performing a level 5 treatment as the first treatment for MiraDry. NO ONE EVER SAID THAT THIS WAS A TEMPORARY APPROACH. Dr. Antwerp and the nurse that performed my treatment told me that because of their pioneering approach most of their patients only needed one treatment.My guess is that the Laser Center was losing money because of the successful results of performing the very first treatment at level 5. They likely decided to reduce the level of the initial treatment to guarantee the return of patients for follow-up treatments. The fact that they changed their approach to performing MiraDry is not my issue. MY issue is that the Laser Center told me one thing and sold me something completely different. THIS IS A TRUE BAIT & SWITCH!********************************************************************************************************************My wife had the MiraDry procedure at the Laser Center of Maryland in April of 2015. She loves her results. We took our 12-year old daughter for the same thing in August and the experience was TERRIBLE at best.#1-Contrary to their published policy on deposits they demanded that I leave a deposit of 50% of the cost of the procedure in order to book an appointment. My wife called them from work to inquire about this new policy and why it was different than what they describe on their website. They said that the policy was new, but yet 2 months later their website has not changed.#2- They published a coupon for $400 then increased the cost of the MiraDry procedure by $400. My wife paid $1575 for the procedure in April. Yet in August they wanted to charge us $1999 for my 12-year old daughter. They told us that $1999 was the regular price for the procedure and that the price my wife paid was the result of an April special. Special pricing was never mentioned during my wifes consultation.#3 We paid $1595 for my daughter to have the procedure in August. She began sweating within days of the procedure. We returned to the center for a follow-up asking for proof that my daughter received a level 5 treatment. We were told that the only proof available was the technicians handwritten notes. The doctor offered to perform another treatment on my daughter for approx $1300.No thank you Laser Center of Maryland. We will take this up with the BBB and our credit card company. Two months later our daughter is sweating and as if she never had MiraDry.This is bait and switch and we wont stand for it.
