We love Smart Fit Kids. They are absolutely wonderful. My child has been attending for virtual learning and now Hybrid. They offer transportation to and from school and full day care the days he is not in school. The summer camp options are awesome and the kids will do many fun trips weekly. The owner and all the teachers and staff truly care for the children and keep them safe, well cared for and happy. My child always comes home happy and is always happy to go there each morning. They are also so affordable and they offer many different options for your care needs.

Ive had my son here for over a year now and its great. He did his E-learning here and the staff was very helpful during the process. He loves it there. Hes made lots of friends and is now an orange belt in taekwondo. Summer camp has been a lot of fun too. They have gone on a field trip almost every day. Id recommend this day camp to any parent. Mrs. Bixia and their staff have been terrific.

My kids LOVE smart fit. My youngest is in pre-k and is excelling and on his way to be ready for kinder. My school aged kids really enjoy the fact that even though they are virtual learning right now they can still have friends to play with. As a parent, I enjoy picking up my kids and they are excited to tell me about their days and how much they enjoyed school

My girls have been going to Smart Fit Kids for several months and have really enjoyed their time there. They both have had fun doing the Taekwondo program. All the staff is friendly and all my questions have always been answered promptly.

I recommend Smart Fit Kids Academy. Our daughter started there in May and was part of the essential worker day care program. Each morning we would drop her and her school materials off and when we picked her up she was happy, tired from playing and had all schoolwork completed and submitted. Our kiddo goes to a private school so Bixia and her staff had to facilitate this on a completely different platform than what was used in the county schools. If there was a question, concern or missing worksheet, we got an immediate phone call. She loved doing taekwando in the afternoon. She has spent a good part of the summer there as well rotating between STEM and Adventure camp. They have provided a quality experience that is engaging and has included Covid friendly field trips.

My son enjoyed several weeks of summer camp this year. Each week was a different fun theme, my son loved the Robotics camp. It was a little disappointing knowing they werent able to go to all the activities this summer due to the virus, but the camp made arrangements to go to local parks instead. The schedule week to week didnt change much, the same parks each week. I purchased our camp weeks before Covid started, I do wish the center would have offered a discount because the parks the kids visited were free parks that we visit often. Kids were also allowed to take electronics, which I wasnt happy about and became a daily fight with my son because he wanted to take his but wasnt allowed. Kids were required to bring all their own art supplies and had to carry that around in their backpacks all day. A few great things the center did was make sure kids were washing their hands often. Temperature checks were done every morning. They had no issues while we were there with Covid positive cases. Email communication was very prompt. Overall my son had a fun time.

My son loved Smart Fit Kids summer camp! He came home everyday excited, happy and ready to learn and do more! Smart Fit Kids took every precaution during the COVID-19 pandemic and made me feel confident as a parent that I was doing what was best for my child. The staff, especially the owner Bixia, was very hands-on and engaging, happy to help and answer any question as it came up. I highly recommend Smart Fit Kids and definitely plan to send my son again next summer!

Smar Fit Kids is Amazing!! My 7 year old is so Happy to be there!! There are so many options for different Club activities, and the Summer Camp program is top notch! My daughter has done both the S.T.EM Camp as well as Adventure Camp! Though Taekwondo is her favorite part. I highly recommend!!!

My kids are attending Smart Fit Kids summer camp for the first time this year. Despite the fact that most of the field trips and camp activities that were originally scheduled for the summer have been cancelled due to the pandemic, my kids are having a blast. They are completely engaged in the STEM program that has the right mix of instruction and application of learning coupled with fun and games. Ms. Bixia and her staff are fantastic, extremely polite and friendly, and it is very evident that they have a great rapport with the kids. I can rest assured knowing that my kids are being well cared for, stimulating their minds and staying safe during these times. I highly recommend this summer camp!

We specifically chose Smart Fit because of the quality of education in summer programs while still allowing the children to learn hands on and enjoy themselves. Our son loves his time here and even requested to do before and after care here (when school isnt virtual). It is more affordable than other all day programs with the same qualifications, and you can tell the focus is truly on children and their learning!

We found ourselves in a bind with our son who was transferring into a local middle school. In our particular situation, we had to transport our son to and from school. Our work hours did not match with his schools late morning start time, so we were desperate to find not only a place where he could stay for an hour or two every morning, but who would also transport him to school. We learned about SmartFit Kids through a staff member at the middle school, and it was a lifesaver.Ms. Bixia and her staff were wonderful. They are organized, detailed-oriented, and very flexible. We never had a worry with our son, both during the time he spent at SmartFit Kids in the mornings, nor with him being transported to school. I dont remember him being late to school once in the year and a half he was enrolled with SmartFit. He also enjoyed his time with Ms. Bixia and her staff. The kids are kept engaged and under close supervision at all times. As such, I give SmartFit Kids my highest recommendation.

We love SmartFit! In addition to assisting with regular schoolwork, they incorporate supplemental learning and physical activities, while keeping it fun for kids. We have noticed an increase in our daughters confidence over the past year from participating in their taekwondo program. We also loved the daily outdoor field trips over the summer and the extra clubs that are offered on-site - super convenient for busy families!

My daughter absolutely loves it here. She has found a new confidence in herself through the taekwondo pratice they offer( which you dont have to pay extra for) The staff is amazing and great with the kids. It is such a loving environment for children to be able to grow and learn in. Ms. Bixia(pronounced Bisha) really cares for these kids like they are her own. I am really happy we found this place it has really made an impact on our family in such a short time.

Smart Fit Kids has been such a blessing to our family. Our daughter gas been going to the before care program for two years. Now the virtual learning at Smart Fit has SAVED the day!!! Our daughter is happy and doing great. She gets her homework done AND Tae Kwon Do everyday before coming home. She is having a blast. Ms Bixia, the owner, is kind and loving and fosters that environment at Smart Fit. We could not recommend it any higher!!!

SmartFit has taken such wonderful care of our children over the years. They have our children’s’ virtual learning running like a smooth oiled machine. My kids are so happy there and are excited to go see their friends and teachers every day. SmartFit’s communication with my husband and I is excellent and they truly love our kids. Summer camp was AMAZING! A different field trip every day! Facility is extremely clean and toys are safe and well cared for. Taekwondo lessons have been beautiful and such a joy to watch my son and daughter develop a passion for the sport.Finally, the owner, Ms.Bixia, deserves a gold metal for her handling of Coronavirus/schools closing. Her steady communication and calm was a godsend as she remained open to care for the children of essential workers. Everyday when we had to suit up and go to work, I knew she would be there to take care of my babies. She is a rock and we are so blessed to have her as a part of our life. She and her staff are committed to safety, learning, and joy.

This is the first summer I have sent my daughter to Smart Fit and I am extremely impressed. The counselors and owner are all amazing- kind, patient and courteous. The children have nothing but amazing things to say about all the staff and noticeably respect each one of them. My daughter loves going every day and especially loves that each week has a different theme and focus area. She has done a few weeks of the STEM Camp Program and has participated in the Adventure Camp for the rest. We will be considering them for After-Care during the school year and definitely plan on returning next summer.

My girls attended Smart Fit Kids from Sept 2019 - March 2020 for before school care. I was very happy with the care my girls received while there. Ms Bixia and her staff (Mr. Bremmer, Ms. Dina, Ms. Katie to name a few) were excellent. My girls were extremely fond of Ms. Dina. The hours are great for working parents. As well as the center staying open for normal hours when school is delayed. There are plenty of options for care during days off too. Highly recommend this child care center!

Smart Fit Kids Academy is special in so many ways! The team is exceptional! They genuinely care about you as a person and genuinely care about all the children enrolled at the center. Smart Fit Kids Academy has been such a wonderful experience for my child. When looking for an after school program, it was so important that there be structured time included. I am happy that we selected Smart Fit, my childs time after school is both structured and he is being taught important values. He learns discipline and respect through the Taekwondo program and he learns the value of hard work through homework time followed by play time. We have found our child even asking us on Saturday, Can I go to Smart Fit today?

We have been with Smart Fit Kids Academy for a year and a half now and have loved it the entire time! The kids do their homework regularly and go outside a lot! Keeping them active and busy is a priority. They have good supervision and good manners are expected and reinforced. The summer camps are wonderful and have educational and fun field trips. My boys love Bixia and her staff and have made good friends at Smart Fit!

This is our first year going to Smart Fit Kids for summer camp. My daughter loves going to camp every day. She is challenged mentally and physically. When I asked her how she rates camp she said she gives them “100 stars.” We will definitely be back next year.

This is the first school year in a new location and its a big improvement. Dedicated areas for all the kids activities, more space and more games. And as always kids have a lot of fun with the staff and activities.

SmartFit Academy has become our home away from home! My children are engaged, challenged and have so much fun! They love the camp science experiments and field trips. The caring staff set SmartFit apart from other programs - they teach kindness and my children know and feel their genuine love. When we pick up our children, they ask: Can you come back and pick us up later? I think that says it all. Highly recommend this program with its visionary Director.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Smart Fit Kids Academy. Bixia and all of her staff care genuinely for each and every one of the children who attend their before and after school programs and summer camp. My daughter attended this program for an entire school year and the summer that followed, and never once did I question her safety while under their supervision. My daughter was well cared for, the staff was always cheerful and friendly with the kids and parents, and they were always off to a fun adventure during summer camp, whether it was the museums in DC, mini golfing, or to the movies. Bixia and her staff are more than capable and have the kids safety and happiness as their top priority.

My son has attended Smart Fit Kids Academy for several years. Our family remains with SFKA primarily because the program director and staff consistently do a great job of cultivating an environment that is safe, nurturing and fun with just the right amount of structure.As a working parent, summer break can be a challenge. The SFKA summer camp program has been a perfect solution for us. It not only works with my schedule, but provides an incredibly broad variety of activities and experiences that are different every week and always fun!

Weve used Smart Fit Kids Academy for three years now. Our child loves the staff and enjoys the educational camps during summer and school breaks. She also enjoys learning Taekwondo, a potential life saving skill, which is taught in the afternoons.

Like any parent my child (son) is more important to me than anything else in my life. His safety, well-being and overall happiness are never off my radar. He has attended Smart Fit Kids Academy for several years and I can say I have never ever worried one minute when in the care of Ms. Bixia and the staff at Smart Fit. Ms. Bixia provides that rare blend of emotional support and adult direction/respect to ensure a healthy and fun environment for the kids. If you take the time to read about all of the planned activities throughout the summer its clear a lot of time and attention were given to make sure the kids have fun but also continue enhancing their learning skills to not lose their edge when it comes to school. I like her commitment to schooling which is rare in summer camps. My son has never complained about the staff or the activities. He always seemed to have a good time. Keeping him from being bored is tough, but Smart Fit accomplishes that with a full schedule each day. There are plenty of places advertised to take your son or daughter for the summer but if I were asked, Smart Fit would be my answer. If you are unsure, I would advise talking with Ms. Bixia and ask her anything to ensure you are comfortable. She has always been willing to take the time and is always open to new ideas you might have as well. If you decide on Smart Fit I do not think you will be disappointed.

Smart Fit Kids has been great for my daughter, she loves doing the Tae Kwon Do program and has met some many new friends! All the activities they plan are great for the kids

My child has been part of Smartfit for 2 years, both in the after school care and summer camp. Both programs are TOP NOTCH! I know that not only is she having fun, but learning based on the STEM program. Every day she comes home telling us what fun they had and what great Science and Math skills they learned. SFK is an amazing environment for kids. The staff led by Mrs. Bixia are top-notch. My family lives outside of the Jurisdiction for Smart Fit kids before and after care and is a bit inconvenient to our commutes, beut we bring our daughter there for summer camps and spring break camps and other time she isnt in school, because she loves it there. She explains everyday how much fun she had, and what she learned from the various trips and science experiments they conduct. Also socially she has blossomed as well, due to being comfortable with the environment. As parents we love it, because of the STEM teaching program, and the idea of keeping the kids positively engaged through play, swimming, sports, tae-kwon-do, art projects, numerous trips to various places, movie times, and academic time...seems liek they fit a lot into a day without overdoing it...from my daughters perspective. I recommend Smart Fit Kids to anyone looking for a quality child care environment.

Moving to a new area is always a transition especially with children. It was very important to my husband and I that we find a facility that would offer more than just a babysitting service to our daughter. Luckily, we found SFKA and we couldnt be happier. Our daughter has been attending the before and after care program for over a year now. SFKA program makes our evenings less of a hassle by offering allotted time for homework to be completed. They also offer Tae Kwon Do which our daughter loves to particpate in. But the best thing about SFKA is that they offer day camp when schools are scheduled off as well as summer camp which offer stem based classes. This was perfect for us because it eased our minds when we thought what are we going to do with her when school lets out. Whether it is spring camp or summer camp, there is always a field trip and fun activities planned daily in which our daughter is always looking forward to and would ask me each night what their activities were for the next day. Knowing that our daughter loves SFKA as much as we do there is no other place we would send her. The program as well as the staff are awesome!
