Brandy helped me with behavior modification for my autistic toddler for years. Later when I had problems I saw her for individual therapy. She has been a great resource for my son, and myself. She was always so helpful and always kept me on track to reach my goals. She is very personable and kind. Getting her help really made a huge difference in my life and my sons life and I am so grateful! Everyone in the office was always so nice. I even recommended my boyfriend To their office. He saw Victoria who helped him out so much. He’s doing a whole lot better now. I’ve recommended others to this office too. They give quality counseling and they really care about their clients.

Brandy has been my counselor for years. She has always been wonderful. She is caring, respectful, and her staff is amazing. They go out of their way to help you. I cant say enough good things about Remedy Counseling. I couldnt have gotten through some very difficult times without her help. Brandy has been my go to just to vent, cry, or share my good days. She has so much compassion for her clients. My daughter also goes here and sees Mattie. She has helped my daughter come out of her shell and enjoy being a teenager more. The changes I have seen in her are incredible. I highly recommend Remedy Counseling.

Our family has been very happy with our experience at Remedy. Brandy is professional and knowledgeable and has helped us navigate some difficult challenges, she has seen us for emergency appointments as late as 8pm and answers emails and phone calls promptly. The front desk staff has also been extremely helpful in making and changing appointments, when we are running late or are sick, they also worked with us when we changed insurances. I have and would highly recommend this practice.

I love going to therapy with Brandy every week. She is the sweetest most kindest therapist ever. I am very comfortable talking to her and being 100 percent open and honest with her every week and the progress i have made in my treatment is amazing. I am still making strides and Brandy allows me to do that in a safe and comfortable environment. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking to start therapy and wants to feel safe and secure and she helps the whole family not just the patient too.

I have chosen to be a patient at Remedy Counseling for a number of years now. And I say chosen, not because I have not met my goals or achieved progress, but that I do not feel that I could find a better therapist to help me continue to achieve my today and tomorrows needs. Brandy has always been a true caring, attentive, professional therapist and counselor in every sense of the word. My trust in her and of her knowledge and guidance in helping assist me in meeting realistic goals and expectations in my life has never wavered. If you put forth the effort, she can be life changing.

Remedy counseling is an extremely unprofessionally run organization. While John was extremely helpful and kind, Brandy was terrible. In our experiences with her she was curt, unhelpful, and very rude. I would strongly recommend seeking assistance with another provider. The front desk service was poor, and scheduling was disorganized. TERRIBLE experience.Regardless of your untrue and incorrect response below, clients expect a certain level of courtesy and professionalism from service providers. YOU FAILED MISERABLY. (Contrary to your reply, my family was NOT happy with you, or the extremely poor front desk service of your practice.) It is our sincere hope that you will take all of these negative reviews into account, and strive to improve service for your remaining clients.

Ms. Brandy is a great person. I have been going to her for 8 years and I wouldnt have been with her this long if she wast good. Because of Ms. Brandy I am more stable and able to function on a daily basis. While working with Ms. Brandy I have been able to achieve more of my goals. She never charges for canceled visits and is flexible with scheduling. I have recommended her to others.

After conducting research on counseling facilities in the A.A. county I was pleased to find Remedy Counseling. I had been anticipating my appointment with Ms. Nina Routhier for months as I had to wait on their waiting list to for an appointment. Granite I was emailed the Intake forms in advance. I was not able to to complete them before my 11am appointment. I arrived at my appointment exactly at 11am. There was no one at the front desk. Ms Nina then came out of her office and told me that I was supposed to be there at 10:45am & that it was listed in the email that was sent to be prior.I then explained to Ms. Nina that was not stated in the email, but Ms. Nina didn’t believe me. I then asked her if I can quickly try to fill out the intake forms, and she told me “No, they are pretty long. I also have another client & there is a $75 fee to reschedule.”I then let her know there will be no need to reschedule then left her facility.I have no idea why Ms. Nina and I couldn’t have gotten at least the hour worth of the appointment.I feel Ms. Nina lacked compassion and empathy and did not try to work with me at all. Her being a counselor I was completely shocked by that.I will not be returning to this facility.

My family and I have had the opportunity to be counseled by Brandi for reunification therapy. This was a difficult time for me personally and also for my son.Once therapy started, I found Brandy quickly got up to speed and brought her trademark no-nonsense approach to our sessions. She was kind, yet nobodys fool. She quickly understood the issue at hand and over the subsequent months of therapy helped us get back on track as a family. Her skills are extraordinary.

I have been a client at Remedy Counseling off & on since 2013 for family and individual counseling, and Nina Brandy Routhier has been the reason I continue to return when therapy is needed. Brandy is a Clinical Therapist - not a doctor - so she does not diagnose or prescribe medication. However, she does work with each client on a plan for overall mental health wellness. Brandy has a lot of insight into various mental health issues and, if she believes a diagnosis and/or medication is necessary or will enhance the therapy, she will assist clients with finding a psychiatrist who will be a good fit. The overall mental health & well being of each client is clearly her priority. Brandy has been a lifesaver for me - a guiding light through some very dark times.

I decided my son should talk to someone after me and his father divorced. He was nervous and asked if he couldn’t just talk to someone he knew. Brandy was suggested as a fit bc his aunt had seen her before she passed away. He is now doing much better, we missed a appointment due to illness and he asked a few times when he was returning to see her. My ex and I both are so thankful for this practice as our son seems to be handling things better. I would recommend Brandy and her team to anyone. The front desk can get hectic, but you have to understand when I’ve called to cancel due to illness the receptionist takes the time to ask what’s going on and make sure that everything is ok before rescheduling the appointment or even getting Brandy to the phone for me. The fact that this practice takes the time to do that makes it even more the right fit for our family. I have had Brandy tell me if I need to reschedule due to my health issues that it’s fine just let them know (I’m in active treatment for breast cancer) there are very few people who will let you reschedule a child’s appointment just because his mother can’t leave the house due to illness.

My last post was falsely removed because Brandy Mobin owner of remedy counseling does not want any bad reviews for the public to see. Please do not go here. This woman fradulently tried to bill me hundreds of dollars when my insurance company said no claim had yet processed. This woman is a scam.

I worked for Brandy Mobin and Remedy Counseling for 4 years. In that time, I learned so many things about people, policies, insurance companies, etc. One thing that happened from time to time was that folks who’d come in for services would seldom read through our intake packet concerning policies and procedures for payment, should they be a no call/no show, late cancellation, or if their insurance company did not pay out. This would all too often cause upset and confusion to those who didn’t read the guidelines.Remedy Counseling is a private practice. Brandy runs a very tight ship. From her front office employees to her clinical staff. She’s been in business at the currently location for 7 years and with the help of her clinical staff, have helped and treated nearly 2,000 patients. I can tell you that she is by the book. Doing what she does is her means of making a living, and when clients aren’t forthcoming with their updated insurance info, or EAP documents, or whatever the requirements are, she doesn’t get paid. This is why it is necessary to have policies in place and those must be acknowledged by being signed and dated BEFORE being seen. The front office staff and the info on Remedy’s website make this very clear to new clients.Sometimes there are breaches of these policies and procedures for other reasons, such as too many missed appointments, inappropriate behaviors, threats, or failure to comply with insurance guidelines. These result in a client being discharged and referred back to their insurance company. It is NOT a personal attack. It’s to protect the integrity of the business. Sadly, some clients who’ve been discharged fail to see it as anything but a personal attack or that Brandy is trying to rip them off. This then results in them taking to sites such as Yelp, Google, etc and leaving angry and derogatory reviews.I think that if someone relied on the good faith policy of getting paid for rendering services, that person would often come up short. Brandy does NOT have to offer taking any insurances and can charge out of pocket rates for the same amount of care. She doesn’t. She takes a loss over and over due to the carelessness of clients who don’t understand exactly how their insurance works and instead of taking it up with their insurance provider, choose to argue with the clinician. Lastly, if there ever came a time that there was a discrepancy and/or the insurance company paid out, I’ve personally refunded or watched Brandy refund each and every one that we’d had to charge.Maybe before writing a scathing and bitter review, understand that you had signed and dated documents adhering you to policies for a service that you had sought. Don’t try to smear someone’s good name for the sake of not getting your way. Learn your insurance companies coverage, lapses, deductibles, premiums, and coverage exceptions.

If youre looking for a therapist who actually cares and listens to you, then Brandy Routhier is your answer. She has helped me deal with the loss of my son and with the grief that eats at me. She listens and offered feedback that I ran with and trust me when I say, she saved my life. Hands down the best.

Similarly to Airick, Dr. Routhier diagnosed me as depressed without ever speaking to me based solely on my mothers unprofessional opinion which went against the opinions of my personal therapist and a hospital psychiatrist. I also have little faith in Dr. Routhiers professionalism as she was my mothers personal therapist as well as our family therapist which created a major conflict of interest. She also repeatedly pressured me into agreeing to things I was not comfortable with like agreeing to take medication and signing a contract I had previously said no to asI did not agree with the terms and conditions.

Dr Routhier tried to diagnose my son with ADHD after talking to him for 5 minutes. Told me to put him on medication right away. Never mentioned a Vanderbilt assessment or any of the countless other evaluations that are performed to diagnose ADHD properly. Two months later I can finally get him into a proper psychiatrist....turns out my son has an adjustment disorder and a possible mood disorder. And NO SIGN of ADHD, Autism or anything else requiring medication. All he needs is continual therapy, which I thought Remedy Counseling provided. If I had listened to Dr Routhier and put him on those meds, he would be a complete mess on top of not eating or sleeping properly and not addressing his real problems. I am beside myself and sick to think how many poor kids out there are just labeled as ADHD and have meds shoved down their throats that they dont need.
