Very disappointed. They didnt seem to have an idea what a skin fade is. I explained two different times to two different hair cutters what I wanted in detail and still they got it wrong. I kept asking to go shorter and finally I just settled. I’d rather go to a barber, I say skin fade and it’s done perfectly. Stinks this place is so much closer. Very clean and they can do a basic haircut, but not for me.

Carol treated me like a king. I got the MVP treatment she up sold me. Awesome from start to finish... Highly recommend!!!! Carol or Yvonne are both excellent!!!

Outstanding skill level. I ended up here after getting a really poor haircut at another salon the previous day. At Sport Clips the skill level was great the staff is really friendly and the shop is super clean. They corrected a really bad styling I got the day before and gave me a great cut. I would absolutely recommend Sport Clips and I will definitely go there again

Was a late walk in on a Saturday, Camantha was professional, friendly, and accommodating. My wife also thought my hair was cut correctly( my on only concern Ha, kidding). It was nice to experience a personable, service, and sales oriented staff member. Well done. Guess I have a new place.

Be careful the appp wait time showed. It is meant to get you into the store where a long wait actually exist. App told me wait time was 2 and a half minutes. When I got to Sports Clips the waif time 25 minutes and the place was full. Great appp Sports Clips. I canceled my app on the app and walked away. That part of the app worked well.

My family has been ordering Chinese from here since I was a small child. I just moved back to the neighborhood and now get my Chinese from here. We spent years in Nassau County trying to find a good Chinese place, no such need out here. This is the place to go.

Very good with my kids, they liked the Dum Dum Lolly pops they give @ the end, lol. We went off hrs, no line. Covid safe environment. They were cleaning as I walked in, good sign. I would recommend this place.

Needed to find a place to cut my sons hair. As a teenager, he has his own opinions and I am thrilled to say, they have listened to what he wants and he has never been disappointed. Its about time there was a place that catered to men and gave them a little pampering.

They did an amazing job. My son loved it too. Hes never had his hair washed at a barber, so it was a different experience for him.

We came in for a hait cut. Was supposed to be an 80 min wait. The staff took my phone number and said they would call. Over two hours later I still haf not received a call. I called the store myself to check the status. I was told by the staff that there was a rush of customers and they took those customers first. I asked then why did we check in and you took my phone number. All the staff could do is apologize. Poor customer service and no professionalism. I will not be returning to that store.

This place is a RIP OFF!! I bought my husband a $50 gift card last Christmas. UNFORTUNATELY I paid for it in cash and when he went to use it DIDNT show any balance. I guess it was a merry Christmas for someone else! I do not recommend at all.

I had my first experience at Sports Clips on 1/21/2019. It was great. Prices are great and the staff are friendly and helpful. Love the concept of the Sports Clips. Its all about Sports. IT is easy to make an appointment on your cell phone. I would recommend the MVP package (1st time customers its free upgrade) It includes a massaging shampoo with a hot towel on your face while sitting in a vibrating chair. I love that they shampoo you after your haircut . I had Samantha who was so nice and friendly.

I have been going to Sport Clips in Selden for a few years now and I am very happy with the service and results every time I go there. I am always greeted and welcomed upon arrival. The stylist I prefer is Becca, and she is always available and there when she is scheduled. This helps me a lot because I have a busy schedule. She knows what I want and my style and nails it every time, she is very consistent, which saves me time. She tells me about specials and promos on product and newer things like the check in online. She is also very knowledgeable about which haircare products will work best for me to help me look my best. I recommend this place and its staff highly!

It always seems to be a hit or a miss depending on who you get to cut your hair. Ive had really good haircuts here and really had ones. But more often than not they are good. The place is always clean, and the employees are very nice. I just wish there was a little more consistency.

Ive been coming here for about 5 years and only had maybe one bad experience where the haircut didnt come out the way I wanted. But I didnt complain since I was in a bit of a rush. They keep track in their system of how they cut your hair last time which is good because it seems like they have a high turnover rate and Ive maybe had the same girl cut my hair twice at most. But overall Im a happy customer. The hot towel on your face while they massage shampoo in your hair after a cut will keep me coming here.

One of the worst hair cuts i ever had.I came in there as per a friend recommendation to get a simple cut, just a cut to simply have my hair level down, i specifically asked her to cut it my hair a bit shorter then i usually have it, but just long enough so that my ears will be covered. But i made it clear to have my hair cut short, she even repeated the exact same thing to me in order to let me know she understood what i wanted.The hair cutter said she will be able to do that no problem and since this is my first time in the place i will get a free MVP experience in which i will get a massage or whatever.The haircut was horrible and they covered my ears WAY to much in that i had the most conspicuous sideburns in my head, and to make matters worse these sideburns were uneven. Also, the top and back of my hair basically werent cut at all seems like they just cut a strand of hair in the top and back and called it a haircut.The MVP experience was crap to, the massage was simply a chair from that one store in the smith haven mall, only difference is they put a hot towel on your face. The fact my hair dresser was talking to a co worker did not help with the MVP experience either. But hey, i got it for free if they made me pay for it it would of been 100 percent more worse.Now the price is the main reason i am pissed off. Essentially i paid 25 bucks for a crappy haircut i am not happy with, and the sad fact is i got this MVP bs for free, so now i am wondering how much i would of paid if i actually had to pay for the MVP experience.To make matters worse the hair cutter gave me an attitude cause i chose not to tip, if you want a tip dont give me a crappy hair cut .Unless you want to be scammed do not come here

Just got my hair cut for first time and Sport Clips. I personally got my haircut by the manager, Danielle, who was awesome. My hair came out great and they upgraded me to the MVP Experience, which is what I think she called it, which was a massage chair while having my hair washed, head massaged, and a hot towel placed on my face. It was excellent. Finally, when I returned to the chair, she massaged my shoulders for a while and styled my hair. Im not going anywhere else anymore. You should either.

Horrible...Would NOT recommend. The hairdressers dont know how to cut hair & they dont know all the new & trendy styles. Took my son there for a cool haircut for school. She didnt cut it the way he wanted & when I asked another hairdresser to just clean it up, she ended up cutting even more which made it worse. We are NEVER going back there again!!!

Tried out Sport Clips Selden because I had a coupon. Walked in and was immediately taken to a chair. I was upgraded to the MVP experience which was very nice and included a shampoo. My haircut turned out great and was exactly what I asked for. Will definitely visit again soon!

From the very first time on a referral, I got a free mvp cut and was hooked ever since. The staff is friendly and pleasant. The ability of the stylist to listen to help and get the style of the customer is important, and the valid basis various stylists have been consistent. Been here a number of times, always fast and friendly service. Establishment is always clean, crew always appears to be clean, equipment is always fresh out of a towel from the stylists locker. While the cost for a haircut is a little more than I usually pay elsewhere, I also have little to no wait, and the difference in price to upgrade to MVP is worth it in my opinion. They make you feel warm and welcome, and by the time you leave you feel like a much different person. Assistant mgr. Becca took care of me the last 2 times and the last time she even remembered how I like my hair and got it right the first time without having to go shorter, which no other place or person has ever been able to do. So relaxing.

Went in to get beard trimmed and was told that they dont do that. Also got hair cut. I wont go there again. My sister bought a gift card for me specifically for the beard trim, when my sister bought the card she was told they do beard trimming. I have a short beard. Not happy. Wouldnt recommend.

I gave this place two chances. Brought my young son here, they fought over who would have to see him. With one employee running out the back door to their lunch against another employees protest. This was slightly amusing, our child is young. The woman who ended up with us cut our kids ears 3 or 4 times with the outcome the child was bleeding and had the worst haircut imaginable. The second time I went here there was a line of customers behind us and one of the staff said oh its going to be waaaay too long a wait buhbye! Sorry! Maybe try tomorrow! So unbelievably obnoxious. So undermotived unprofessional employees make for bad experiences.

Just a barber shop, its clean, the wait time is high usually, but I wont recommend it to someone who is looking for a really clean cut with attention to detail, dont even bother coming here then. Its only for people who are looking for a cut from a shaver, no blades etc. But if your barber doesnt take a credit card, come in they accept credit cards

They suggested a hair paste for me that I usually wouldnt buy but it was the best decision Ive made at sport clips. The MVP experience was fantastic and is worth it. Due to my MVP punch card and a discount the hair paste product ended up being free. Thank you so much!This last experience was my best! Becca made sure my mvp expeience was relaxing and perfect! Clean facility and worth the price!

Ive been going to Sport Clips in Selden for almost 2 years. Once a month, I have gone to get my MVP treatment from AYESHA. She has been so great! Doesnt matter what kind of day I was having, she always gave me a great haircut and made my experience there fun and relaxing. She was fun to talk to and she was always there when I needed her. I just found out the new owners treated her like garbage... and after years of her dedicated service she was out the door. Terrible. However, I did find out where she is working now and will be seeing her again this month... and you should too. She is now at ROCKABILLY in Stony Brook. Bye Sport Clips... you lost me. JR

Honestly, I have long hair and normally I go to salons, this place does more than manage to get the job done and its affordable. Sometimes its a hit or miss with the stylist but 99% of the time Im happy when I leave.

They dont have a barber license, so they cant use straight blade to clean you up.
