I love this place! I’ve been with the rescue from near the beginning and adopted 3 of my 4 cats from here — I now go to this rescue exclusively for my pets.Jennifer Sinz even rescues severely sick animals, and on top of everything she does, she nurses them back to health. I don’t know of any other rescue willing to take in animals that won’t be ready for adoption for a while. Jenny takes them in because she knows they deserve a chance, and that a beautiful family awaits them in the future.Jennifer Sinz is knowledgeable, friendly, and so, so giving. She sacrifices everything for the well-being of the animals in her café and it shows. All the cats are so friendly and sociable—ready to bring home.
I really wanted to like this place but there were so many issues. First of all, it is not really a cat cafe. The cats are next door in the adoption center. You can see them through the glass but there is a $5 per person donation required to go over there and pet them and you cant take your food with you.Second, I dont believe the pictures on their website are of their actual food. That super cute latte with the foam decorated to look like a kitten? Doesnt exist. They only have self-serve Maxwell House coffee, Seven Eleven style. Its a stock photo and false advertising. The salad was a few handfulls of bruised spinach with a few dried cranberries, a little plastic cup with a few blueberries and clementines and a little plastic cup of store bought Italian salad dressing, served in a takeout container with good till 7/27 (six days from now) written in sharpee on the lid. Daughter got a bagel that was definitely store bought as well, and my coffee was thicker than her smoothie.Minor point but there was no music playing in the background, which made it uncomfortable to have a conversation. Save yourself the disappointment, just give them a donation online for the cats and eat somewhere else.
Amazing cat cafe. For only $5 you can come and go as you please all day. They have a very affordable and delicious menu. We adopted our two babies from here w few months ago and Jen has been insanely helpful guiding me and helping me with the kitties as first time cat owner.
Love this place. That take such good care of the animals have great volunteers who feel the same. Awesome food and smoothies! You can hang for $5 a day donation. The animals live in a free environment no cages for the cats they are happy healthy playful. The owners go above and beyond for them and have sacrificed so much to keep this place going during this difficult time. Please help if you can with food, litter etc..
Discovered this place in Oct/Nov of last year and I wish I could have found it sooner! It brings me so much joy going there and seeing all the cats and getting to know them all and their vastly different personalities. It didnt take long for me to become a volunteer! The owner has a huge loving heart and tries to find forever homes for seniors and cats that would typically be overlooked/put in a kill shelter. She also rescues sick animals that most others wouldn’t bother wasting time on and nurses their health back up. Currently she is dealing with a lot of extreme harassment and slandering from others, accusing her of horrible things. If anyone knows the owner and knows how much effort it takes to run a rescue, they know the truth. She cares so much for these animals, dedicates her life to them, blood sweat and tears. This rescue is a NONPROFIT. All money go towards the care of the animals. This place has helped me through a very rough, tough depressing time and I am extremely grateful for its existence. Love the owners and the many beautiful adorable lovable babies and appreciate all the love and hard work it takes to run this rescue. Also the food is delicious!Thank you to the owners and to all the amazing people, volunteering and donating and helping support the cause.
What a worthwhile place to go. It is a cafe plus an animal rescue. For a small, tax deductible donation we got to meet the cats up for adoption in this big room with lots of comfy seating, games for kids, and cats roaming around. The food we took to go. It was delicious. Would definitely go back if we are in the area again.
Such a Wonderful cafe and rescue!! Just a great addition to the community. Jen is amazing. My son became allergic to our two cats and after months and months of calling rescues who all said they won’t take adult cats, Jen and her rescue really helped my family out. She truly cares about the animals she takes in. Such a clean and fun environment for all. Definitely go and check out the cafe and support her.
My sister took me here for my birthday and we spent 2 and a half hours here and going to visited another day because we had such a good time. The owners are very sweet people made us feel very welcomed. there was many cats and kittens to pet and play with all of them are very sweet the cafe is also very clean and you can not beat the price! 5 dollars per person for the whole day and can come and go as u please through the whole day what a great deal not only that but we donated more than 5 dollar becasue it was such a great experience and the cats deserve it we also ordered some smoothies which were delicious and since it was my birthday the owner gave me my smoothie for 5 cents which was so nice we drove 2 hrs from new jersey to get here and i can definitely say IT WAS SO WORTH IT! i would definitely recommend this place the cats and kittens with definitely melt your heart i also had a couple cuddle up with me this really made my birthday the best birthday ever!
Hands down my favorite place to go. The prices are amazing and the owners & volunteers are the sweetest, most caring and passionate people. I come so often they know my name and my usual food orders! I know the cats by names and they are always so sweet and it’s nice to have even the shy ones there to get socialized. The amount of love Jennifer puts into this place is tremendous. Can’t stop recommending this place to all my friends and those who want to volunteer more :)
Me and my sister always go here to see the adorable cats! The cats always have enough food and water and are very healthy. I go here very often and I never have any problems with the staff/food. The cats are very friendly and are affectionate. I definitely recommend coming here it’s very cute!
The Selden Cat Cafe is amazing and a wonderful place to visit and hang out with the cats. Its large, has couches and cat trees and places for the cats to go when they want alone time. I won the cat lottery and adopted the best tabby boy in the world, Simba, a total love bug! Please go visit and hang out with some furry friends and potential new family members! Bet you cant get just one 😹
We visited with my girlfriends family. The owner was very nice, and even let us in beforw they opened to pet the kitties. All the cats were very friendly as long as you take the time to introduce yourself to them, especially for the older ones. The smoothies were nice, but the cute baby cats are to die for. Very fun for all ages.
I cant say enough good things about this lovely place. Today was my first time eating there and Im so impressed. The pickle pizza was so good I must have it again and soon! The cherry smoothie was so delicious Ill definitely back for more. While I was there, I met some truly precious felines. As a cat lover, I was in heaven sitting in the separate room spending time with them.
I love this little Cat Cafe and Rescue tucked away in Selden! For only a $5 donation, you get unlimited time with the cats and kittens. This is very unusual as other places generally charge more like $15 for an hour. As the animals are allowed to roam freely in the room, you get a chance to see their personalities. This can be important for those looking to foster or adopt. The senior cats can be just as cute as the kittens, looking to play and even coming to sit on your lap. With free wifi and tables available, one can even get a bit of work done while relaxing with the cats.
A Kitten Kadoodle is hands down the best cat cafe on the island. All the cats are super sweet and cuddly and so so cute! Theres actual food you can eat [unlike other cat cafes] thats in a separate room and theyre vegetarian and healthy. Theres so many different teas and smoothies to choose from as well which are so good. Love this place, I go here all the time. Great place for families or a group of friends ♡
I’ll start with this. This is my families happy place. We have loved coming here since they opened their doors. We plan on staying for a 1/2 an hour but always wind up staying longer because we never want to leave. We love being able to play and interact with all the cats. And as was bound to happen, we finally decided to adopt one of the kittens. We really liked one particular kitten but someone else started the adoption process before us. The owner, Jennifer, took me to the side and told me she had a kitten, Vera, that was just brought up from a kill shelter in the south who would be up for adoption and she thought of us right away. I can honestly say that I’m glad the 1st kitten we were interested in went to another loving home because Vera fits in perfectly with our family. This is because Jennifer took the time to get to know us and knew what we were looking for in a cat. Jennifer gives so much of herself to her rescue. All she wants is to find good homes for all these animals. She even took Guinea Pigs in to help find them homes. The animals are all well taken care of and are happy. They ask for a $5 donation per person when you go which I gladly give knowing it all goes back to the animals. You can stay for as long as you’d like and even leave and come back the same day at no additional cost. Bottom line, if you are looking to adopt a cat or just want to spend time with cats to make your day brighter, you must come here. You’ll be very happy you did. And take the time to say hi to the Jennifer, the owner. She’s a wonderful person with a very big heart.
The cat cafe is one of my family’s new favorite places to visit. We have been at least a dozen times since they’ve opened and it has been a great experience each and every time. Although we have cats at home, it is great to go to the cafe for a cat “fix” - there is just something so fun about interacting with new cats outside of your normal environment. What totally shocks/impresses me is how friendly and social all of the cats there are! My cats typically run and hide if someone just knocks on the door, but not these guys - it’s awesome. I also really appreciate how immaculately clean the place is. Despite the fact that there are well over a dozen cats at any given time, there is no odor and everything isn’t covered in cat hair. There is a very “homey” feel to the cat room, with lots of comfortable furniture, a television, books and games for kids, etc. We also attended one of the cat yoga classes there and it was an amazing experience. We did goat yoga in the past and let me tell you, cat yoga is definitely better - no one is peeing and popping on your mat or stepping on you with really hard hooves. We’ve also sampled most of the smoothies on the menu and have really enjoyed them. I would absolutely recommend the cat cafe to anyone who likes animals: you get all the joy and love of playing with and petting the cats without any of the responsibility. Plus, if you find a special animal you just can’t live without, all of the cats there are available for adoption.
I thought it would be gross having animals in a cafe but it wasnt! We ordered smoothies which were very good and met some very nice people. The owner is a sweetheart, I spent some time chatting with her, she really is a champion for animals. The setup of the establishment is very smart and surprisingly clean since the animals are free range. There are double safety doors separating the animals from the eatery. The cafe is well thought out for keeping everyone safe. Great place to unwind alone or with kids.
I loved watching the cats interact with their environment because it was so clear that they were so comfortable there. The place was clean and every cat looked happy and well taken care of.
I adopted a kitten the end of September who turned out to be very very sick. I’ve spent thousands AND COUNTING on vet bills and have been treating him at the vet and at my house for horrible ring worm, an upper respiratory infection, worms, and a double eye infection. We just got back from the vet again in now October and he’s still just as rough if not, getting worse and I’ve been told by 2 doctors now he may not see the end of this. I got sold a sick cat for profit and I’m actually grateful I got him and he was taken away from that place. The fact that this is all so contagious (YES TO HUMANS) makes the fact that it’s a “cat cafe” disgusting. SHE NEEDS TO TAKE CARE OF THOSE POOR SICK CATS. THEY NEED A REAL VET.
I have visited this cat cafe several times and it never disappoints. The staff are incredible and are welcoming and loving people. You can tell how much they care about the animals by the condition of the cafe. Everything is clean. The cats (bunnies etc) always look healthy and have a wonderful space to live in. The cafe serves great food and drinks. I definitely will continue to visit as often as I can!
I went to this place of business to adopt a cat for my 9 year old son. I heard great things so I figured Id try it out. All of the cats had runny eyes and noses, but thats typical in kennels.Jennifer sold me the cat. Well, everything was great, until the next day when the cat had a seizure and died. My son Brian was DEVASTED. When I asked Jennifer why she would sell me a sick cat, she told me she wanted the cats body as proof in order to get my money back. Who does that!!!!! My son and I had a beautiful tasteful funeral for Mr Pip, but the fact that this wench wanted my cats dead body is sickening. I never did get that refund. 0/10
I was interested in looking to adopt 2 Cats Today at this facility considering my other cat sadly passed away a month back. I came down after work, Looking to see if i can get some information and how the process worked. She started asking me normal questions, but then asked me if i had a Dog. i replied with my brother has 1 dog. She replied with you live with your brother?. Which i found quite rude and unnecessary by the tone of her voice. She asked the next question, do you work fulltime? .I replied with of course. She replied quickly with a few stutters, and said well your adopting 2 cats so i guess its fine. Which was again replied with a rude tone of voice. She also suspected i was trying to adopt 2 cats for a Girl? Which was not the case, im currently single. I was looking for 2 new friends to keep me company. I have been to multiple Shelters, adoption centers etc and have never experienced anything like this. Sadly, i thanked her for her time and im going to proceed to adopt 2 new cats somewhere else.
An absolutely fantastic place in all regards. From the food which is great, to the staff who are very friendly, to the cats who vary in size and personality. All that, and for only $5 (per person) each time you go you can visit the cats for the entire day, no exceptions or limitations. If you enjoy good food or more importantly, cats, I could not recommend this place enough.
Its a cute place thats very laid-back. The food is yummy and its very nice to be able to see the cats. I like how they have many programs to attend on certain days. Its very family-friendly and the staff are very kind and informative. I recommend this place if you love kitties!
My daughter and I had a great time here. I noticed the place since we shop at Aldi right next door. The cafe is lovely with very good homemade soup. Avery absolutely loved playing with all of the cats. We are not looking to adopt but I will say every cat there had a sweet personality and would make a great pet for someone. We will definitely be back. My only problem is now every time we go to the food store, I know my daughter will be begging to stop at the cat cafe! She just got up from a nap and her first words to me were “Mom, can we go back to the cat cafe?”
So happy that I found this place!! The owners and volunteers are great, and the space for the kitties is cozy! It is a great place to go to and destress from everyday things, as well as get to give love to some of the sweetest cats I have met. I’m looking forward to stopping here frequently and support a place that’s doing a great thing for these lil kitties.
Food was surprisingly good and everything was fairly priced. Place was clean and the cats were loving the attention. Would definitely recommend. Only thing I wished they had was some gentle background music.
I love all of these cats, great experience please go visit these cute fluff balls they need lots of love, friendly staff too :)
So awesome! What a terrific idea to raise money for a cat rescue! We made ornaments and decorated the Christmas tree, lit it and had a visit with Santa! The cats were playing and snoozing everywhere! It was so fun! Highly recommend going here for any occasion! From playdates to date night!
I love visiting this place with my son. Its always nice to see the rescued cats and we decided to adopt two of our own!
I absolutely love this place! I have been there a few times now with my kids and we always have a great time. The cats are all friendly and sweet and the owners are wonderful. My Mom started volunteering there after I brought her with me one time, she fell in love with the place. What these people do here is amazing and totally from the heart. They are all about finding great homes for the cats! It is a fun place to just hang out, have a cup of coffee and play with the kitties.
Love this place, if youre looking for a place to drink coffee and pet cats, this is the place to go. Wish children were more gentle with the cats.
I absolutely love this place. The cats are so adorable and very friendly. Its clean and comfortable. Plus the owner is a absolute sweetheart. What she does for these cats is amazing. I highly recommend for moms that want to get the kids out of the house, they do plenty of activities for the kids with the cats. I will be going back.
An amazing experience. My partner and I went for the first time over the weekend, and it was the highlight of our day. Staff was very kind and interactive. Place is very legitimate.
Such an amazing space. Went in there last week with my brothers and sister. We talked to a woman who seemed to be the owner. She was very accommodating and sweet. It didnt seem as if you stepped into a cafe; you were family here. The cats are in a separate room from the cafe. A $5 donation got you in to play with the cats. But if you just wanted to come in for a quick bite, the cats are enclosed in glass and you can still see them. Everything was very fairly priced. For six of us the total came to $32 and we all got a tea each. All of the cats seemed to be so happy and comfortable. It was amazing to be around them because the were so sweet and well loved. They came right up to you and wanted to play. There had to be around 15 or so cats, all different ages and breeds. The next cat I adopt will come from here. Such an amazing place to visit. I will definitely be a regular customer.
Amazing. Jennifer is a wonderful woman, the cats and kittens are so well taken care of. Clean as a whistle and everyone makes you feel comfortable, and just like family
A friend dropped a cat off that the cafe agreed to rescue. The cafe owner just let the cat loose in the room with all the other animals and didnt watch them all. Then they took him to their home and claimed he escaped out the window. They wont let anyone on their property to search for the missing cat, who is most likely still in their house.Unbelievable behavior from a rescue.
Love this place. You get to play with the cats the entire day for just $5 and the owners are super nice. They also have so many fun events such as yoga with cats etc. I definitely recommend this places
Staff super nice and accommodating. Food is pretty good; all vegetarian and vegan, lots of options. And, of course, cats! Great place to meet up, grab a bite, and play with kitties.
A wonderful, calm, inviting place to be. There is a small area to eat snacks before going inside the cat room (no food allowed for the kitties sake, just drinks!). The cats have a large space to roam and relax and hang out with you. This is a place that us great for children to play, students to complete homework, and anyone looking to relax. They also accept donations and volunteers. On top of that, all of the cats are adoptable! If youre looking to support a local business, this is definitely a place to check out.
My daughter and I love it here! It’s always clean and the cats are great!!!
This place is incredible. My fiance and I visit here every Friday when we are both off. The owners clearly love and care for the cats in their care, as well as just being genuinely nice, kind hearted people. The cats are fun and cuddly. We grew attached to many of the cats in here! It is very clean, great atmosphere with a good menu- the smoothies are delicious. And only $5 to get in and spend as much time as you want with the cats (other cafes are $15-$16 for only an hour). If youre looking for a cat cafe to check out, this is the place to go. It also supports a wonderful cause- animal rescue and adopts out these cats so more can be rescued
Had a fun time with the cats for a very good price, I liked that it was $5 for the day instead of paying hourly like most places, so there was no rush for time. These cats are super lovable and calm. Food was good too, with a nice variety of snacks and smoothies!
It is a beautiful place. The cats definitely aren’t as interactive when there are kids running around scaring all the them to death. They were mostly all scared and not willing to come down from safety. I get it, parents don’t bring your kids here and let them tear the place apart your killing the vibe.
We had a great time at the cat cafe. They are an adoption center that doesnt keep the cats in cages. They are doing a great job caring for the cats. They even came in and told us the stories of each one. Didnt get a chance to have food but the coffee was good!
Went in for coffee and left with a cat. She is such a love and were in love with her. Thank you for everything! Lizzy is such a mush! Beyond happy with this place!
We loved our time here, this is clearly run by people who care so much about the animals and the people they serve. The cat play area is huge and thoughtfully separated from the food (which is an adorable cafe of its own and a great selection of items!) I cant wait to come back again and I wish the owners all the best!
I am obsessed!!! I had the best time hanging out with the cats. I can say for sure, without question, that I will be a regular! Spending time with animals is such a great stress reducer and this little shop is super comfortable and relaxing. A family friendly environment where light fare, coffee refreshments are sold. There is a $5 donation to play with the cats, which in my opinion, is a small price to pay for such an awesome time.
This place lost a cat that I rescued!!!She didnt even bother to help looking for the cat. If it wasnt for dedicated volunteers, he would have been lost over 20 miles from where he was originally found. The Spca is supposed to be looking to this place for NEGLECT AND OVER CROWDING IN THE BUILDING!There are multiple animals placed together im a large room without introduction or isolation for any possible illness.
I love love love this place!! Just got out of there and it’s such a peaceful environment! The cats are soooo sweet and cuddly, there are many of them! The owners are very sweet and helpful and you can see they really love their cafe and rescue. I’m excited to come back again and again!
Adopted a kitten in late July and have repeatedly asked Jennifer for the kittens medical records. She claims she has emailed the documentation twice which was a lie! Our kitten was taken to the vet and blood work was taken. She was diagnosed with FIP, which is caused by the feline coronavirus. It has a 95% fatality rate. She claims that all of her cats are healthy and tested for everything. The bloodwork we received from the vet clearly shows otherwise. Be careful adopting here, because if my kitten had the feline coronavirus, there’s a chance it could have spread to other cats.
Great place to relax and enjoy the kitties. They offer many programs for children and adults. $5 donation is for food, litter and medical costs for the cats. All cats are looking for their FurEver home. I highly suggest stopping in, ordering a cup of tea and a snack and propping yourself up in a cushy chair with a cuddly cat!!
Really cute place. For a donation of $5 per head, you can hang out and play with cats all day. My kids love it.
Today my kids and I took our first trip to the Kitten Kadoodle Coffee Cafe and my kids loved the experience. We went during a story and craft time and both the owner and the volunteers were very welcoming to myself and my children. My kids have not stopped talking about playing with the cats and we hope to go to future events at the cafe.
Very friendly staff and great price
A little hard to find exactly wear it is because the name isnt that noticeable om the road. The cafe is very spacious and is split in 2. One is the cafe half and the other is the playroom. The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable and the kitties were cute. Its $5 for the day and no time limit. The cafe also acts as an adoption center for anyone who wants to bring a cat home
Nothing much to say. Alot to feel.
Owner is out of her mind and not all up there. Continuously lying. Very unprofessional. Also very delusional. The best thing for these cats would be to get far far away from this lunatic!!!! She does not have their best interest...
What a great place! We were greeted warmly, and there were so many friendly cats. The atmosphere was very relaxing. We will certainly be back!
I love this place. All the fur babies are cuter and sweeter than the other. My heart goes out to the owner, Jennifer. I wish her much good luck.
Where do I even begin with this review. As a fellow cat lover I was so excited when I heard about a cat cafe opening up close to me where I had the opportunity to get my cat fix in and have a cup of tea. My boyfriend is a cat person as well so we decided to check it out. Upon our arrival we were greeted by Jen and her husband who were so welcoming and made you feel very comfortable. We paid a 5 dollar donation to spend as long as we wanted in the cat part of the cafe. We walked in and it was kitty heaven!! We have now been back there a bunch of times, I even volunteer with my agency that I work for (both Jen and Bill are great with them ). A few days ago went to spend some time with the cats and take part in our of their great events they have monthly. While we ere there we fell in love with a little love bug named Miracle. We couldnt resist and we brought her home with us ! Jen was so supportive and made sure to calm my cat mom nerves with bringing this little bundle of joy home . You can just tell that these cats are taken care of extremely well by the owners and the volunteers. I havent had alot of the meals but I always have a nice hot cup of tea when I go :) make sure to check it out there are lots more kitties looking for their furever homes!
Very nice place to adopt a cat. Cats are clean and well taken care of. Lots of love.
Beautiful cat cafe. Cats are sweet and very adoptable. The have a separate section where they sell food and drinks. Affordable family fun.
What an Amazing Place. Great Food, Awesome people, and there are cats (separated of course) . I loovvee the hot apple cider and the new vegetarian loaded baked potato. After I ate I hung out in the cat adoption area (just $5 but its a donation is to help the cats and its for the whole day not per hour) I meet a lot of wonderful cats and bunnies. I got to play with them, just sit back and relax and this giant cat Gio came over and made me his new home for awhile. Lol. It was great. They are going to be having a lot of events coming up there like cat yoga, paint night and movies. Cant wait to go back with my computer and some magazines and just chill for awhile. The owner, she was so engaging, friendly and you could see in her eyes she really loves her cats n cafe. So if you love great food, wonderful smoothies, and of course cats, this is THE place to be. Looking forward to my next visit, this weekend. Hope to see you all there too 😎
I loved this place sooo much . This is heaven to any cat lovers, so many cats 🥰 cats interact with you and they have toys so you can play with them . Workers are also very interactive with you and tell you of the cats back stories, what they like and dislike, and are generally kind . Tables, chairs, etc in case you want to do work or homework, ha e painting events, and great food . Rooms with cats and eating room are seperated, which is very sanitary considering how hyped and fun the cats are, none of them are rough and money you pay to get in is donated - you can walk out and in as many times as you want without having to repay every time. Amazing place - would give 1000000000000 ⭐️/10 if I could - recommend on any day
Food is good, just a little small portion-wise
Such a cute place. We stayed for hours. Sweet cats and wonderful volunteers
Really fun cafe. Cats/Kittens were very friendly. Highly recommend this cat Cafe
The owner Jennifer is so sweet, kind, genuine and truly cares for the cats she rescues. every penny made from the cafe goes back into helping those cats, please support your local small businesses that are great as this one!!!
I went here for my 45th birthday and it was the best time ever!!!! Friendly staff and even friendlier kitties 😻😻
Great place to spend time with adoptable cats. Plenty of places to sit and pet mostly adult cats looking for a home.I didnt eat in the cafe however the menu did look delicious!
Most of the cats have runny eyes and noses, they just dont seem taken care of and from what Ive heard, they dont get regular veterinary care.
Such a cute place. Great way to care for rescue cats and kittens. 👍
Was so much fun and my daughter and neice live playing with the kittens and cats.
Amazing!!! Clean!!!! Gorgeous items for sale!!! Its my new favorite place for smoothie!! No more tropical Smoothies for me!! Kittys and a healthy drink Im Soo IN!!

I got to hold a tiny kitten and I cried in front of an 11 year old.
Nice staff and love the cats & other animals
It helps pets find great homes
A great place to eat and spend time with the cats and kittens up for adoption.
Great little place with a unique atmosphere!
Nice calming place, very mellow.
Friendly environment that your family and friends will love.
$5 for as long as you want, can’t beat it! Staff and cats alike are very friendly with lots of toys for the cats around as well
A wonderful way to spend time with kittens and friends.
So many cute kitties
