On a road trip through Sedona my vehicle began dripping fuel from behind the rear wheel. When I arrived at Canyon every bay was full and they multiple cars waiting all over the lot. They still pulled my car in within minutes and began diagnosis. This is above and beyond service. They had no reason to help me, as I will probably never be back in town in need of a repair. Yet, they still did everything possible to get me back on the road.The repair ended up needing parts that had to be ordered, and thus would take two weeks. They called the local car rental company and secured a minivan that could fit all of our gear and negotiated a huge discount. Then gave me a ride to the rental agency. That is better service than I would get from most mechanics that had known me for years.Due to a variety of factors it took awhile to get the part, but as soon as it arrived they installed the part and put my car back together by first thing the next morning. Total charge for probably 15 hours of labor plus parts about $500. They are completely honest in every way even when they dont need to be. To top it off; they were correct in their initial diagnosis, which in my experience is very rare in mechanic work. I would trust them with any vehicle for any repair if they say they are qualified to do it.

Best experience I’ve ever had for auto repair. Had car trouble on vacation and dropped in looking for help. They fit me in same day and diagnosed and fixed problem in a couple of hours. Honest, friendly and great work. I may use this as another reason to come back to Sedona as I wish I had a shop like this back home. I paid less for the entire repair than I often get charged just for diagnostic. Thank you again Marsha for being so accommodating!

I fully recommend Canyon Automotive! They were a lifesaver for me after a stressful journey across the desert that involved multiple issues with my car. They communicated everything clearly to me, did not pressure me into performing repairs with them and made it very easy for me to make choices that I believed were best from a time and safety standpoint. On top of that, the repairs I did ask them to make were completed quickly, and they treated me like a priority despite me being a tourist and a walk-in on a Friday morning. Finally, they very sweetly sent me a Thank You card after I returned home from my journey!

My car wouldnt start and it was not the battery they discovered it was an easy fix and charged me $24. They were honest and friendly. The owners wife will drive you to rental place or home. Very nice business.

I would trust these folks with my children and my favorite dog! While on a 25 day RV trip we had transmission trouble with our tow car. Its a long story that I do not want to bore you with. Just know that these folks are the real deal. They know what they are doing. They are honest. And they bent over backwards to do everything in their power to make a bad situation not so bad. Hope I never need another mechanic in Sedona AZ, but if I do they will be the first folks I call. Danny and Marsha in particular were the bomb. I will say it again, these folks are awesome.

Got a flat right as we got into Sedona. Came to these guys and they patched the tire within 15 min. Everyone was super friendly.

While visiting Sedona, my drive shaft center support decided to break on me - thankfully not while towing out 41’ fifth wheel. Denny was able to get his guys on it and Fix it that day in order to get my family back to our RV for the night. Once the u joints canes in the next day he was able to finish the job. Great crew and very helpful.

My wife and I were up vacationing from Phoenix and my check engine light came on and my 2500 duramax went into limp mode. I did some looking on the internet and found this place and was one of the few places that did Diesel engines. Got my truck in early the next morning with no appointment and they took me right in. Ultimately the problem was pretty complex and needed to have a part ordered from the dealership in Cottonwood and and so on. Had to leave the truck overnight and was going to Uber back to the hotel but was very surprised they gave me keys to a shop vehicle for the day to use. The next morning they got me back on the road without any problems. There are a couple things that I would like to point out. First off the entire shop was friendly and compassionate about my situation and did everything they could to make what was happening easier on us. Secondly Denny the owner was beyond determined to get this issue resolved and went out of his way To get the part, special tool needed and the info to properly troubleshoot the problem (I’m not convinced the dealership would have been as thorough to be honest). Lastly they new I was in a pretty bad bind and NEVER took advantage of that in anyway, I know that should go without saying but let’s be honest that’s not the norm now a days. Again thank you for getting me on the road and taking care of us, you gave me peace of mind and mad a pretty lousy situation much easier to handle. For anyone wondering if this is a good place to take your car to the answer hands down is yes. The shop can do it all and will give you a great experience all around.

Denny and Jacob are really great guys! My family came in because we had some oil light issues and were worried about driving through the mountains home. They accommodated us right away and did a scan and test drive of our van. They recommended things that needed to be take care of down the road and changed our oil at our request. Prices are high but if you want quality you have to pay more. I didnt feel pressured and I was happy they were honest.

Some of the nicest people I’ve met while in Arizona. I was on a cross-country trip and had an issue with my car. They were extremely willing to accommodate and worked me into their schedule that morning. I had a coil spring on my Jeep that needed to be set back in went out on broken arrow, limped over to Canyon and my fuel pump went as I was there fortunately.... pfff Jeeps...Anyway they had my fuel pump installed by lunch the next day and were great staying in contact with me regarding all the events. The gal at the front is a good woman.

We were up from Phoenix and had a coolant leak. It’s never a good time to have a vehicle problem, but it’s even worse when you’re on vacation away from home. We looked around an found several places with good ratings. I called these guys on a whim. They got us in immediately, and had us on our way in under an hour. The people are great and the service exceptional.

The night before we were to head home from our vacation in Sedona, the check engine light came on our truck. We got a tow back to our room and got another tow the next morning to Canyon Automotive. We hadnt eaten yet so they gave us ride to a local restaurant and picked us up when we were ready to come back to the shop. The news on the truck wasnt good and we were devastated. There were no rental cars available so they loaned us there little shop truck for the weekend. Monday morning when we returned to the shop they had a plan to get us back on the road. It was going to take a few days and there were still no rental cars so they let us keep the truck. After spending an extra week in a hotel we were back on the road. We just want to say how much we appreciated everything Marsha & Denny did for us on such short notice and the compassion they showed for our circumstances. Again, thank you for everything. I own an automotive repair shop in Sedona as well and I use Canyon Auto for diesel repair or when I am unable to take care of customers in need because we are sometimes to busy, Denny and Marsha are great people to deal with and the entire staff are professionals. Canyon Auto is a first class repair shop and you can be certain your vehicle will be repaired correctly the first time. Trustworthy, Honest and fair pricing has always been my experience.

My experiences with Canyon Automotive have been fantastic! They have always been really clear on what the costs are and if I have other, less expensive options. The work has always been completed very quickly and they have even lent me a loaner car when necessary. One time, one of the mechanics even drove me home while my car was being repaired. I have been so happy with eveyone at Canyon and Marsha is a real pleasure to work with! I never thought I would enjoy bringing my car in for repairs, but I do now!

Top recommendation from visitors from Temecula/San Diego area. My wife and I were traveling throughout Arizona, and our car had temperamental temperature warning light that they deemed not critical after checking computer codes of engine. It was harder to get into google to write a review than it was to get my car worked on.Anyone visiting Sedona who may need your vehicle looked at or worked on ...these folks are sincerely the nicest and do a great job for a decent price! For a tourist, it is never a good feeling to be in need of work done away from home. You can be assured they will treat you like a local here.

My experience at Canyon Motors was, as always, completely satisfactory. Although my original purpose in taking my Toyotas 4Runner in was for a regular oil change and checkup, Marsha brought to my attention other matters that should be attended to. Denny is an expert mechanic, and he not only did the work in the time they said it would take, he also did a 90,000 mile inspection and noted those things that should be done in the near future. I am grateful to them both and to the entire staff.

Great Service!! My old Subaru broke down in Sedona while I was on a short vacation. Canyon Auto got it fixed for a very reasonable price the same day. In fact, they replaced both front axles within a couple hours. They were incredibly nice and professional. You never know what you are going to get when you are out of town and at the whims of a place that knows it, but Marsha and the folks at Canyon Auto were everything you could hope for. Thanks!

Our car was ten day old after purchasing, we decided to bring it back to the dealer.Denny was kind enough to keep our car free for almost a month and went out of their way to help us transport our car to Houston.We met a lot of nice people in Sedona we are forever grateful for all your help. My car broke down heading toward Sadona. They were able to help me the same day when no one else did. They stayed past closing to look at my vehicle. The repair on the car was too much for me to pay so I had to keep the car at the shop. They let me sleep at the shop. They were very understanding of my situation. They gave me good advice on what to do and helped me in every way they could. Im thankful for these good people. If your car breaks down in Sadona, bring it here. I want these people to have your business.

An automotive company thats been in Sedona for many years I feel they have excellent service, care about the customer and listen to what the conditions and problems you have with your vehicle and offer solution, economical.

$60 to tighten a hose connection and top off my transmission fluid seems a little steep. Still, they addressed my stated issue precisely and rapidly. Also they were friendly and professional.

Have been going to Canyon for about 4 years and have always received the very best care from Marsha, and top of the line work from their excellent mechanics, at reasonable prices. Best place in town!

I lost my power steering in Phoenix the day before the start of Labor Day weekend on my way to Sedona. I called two ford dealers in Phoenix to see if they could take my car. They basically said they were busy and they maybe could have the car ready after the holiday weekend. It seemed that my holiday weekend was ruined. I called the ford dealership in camp verde and they said they would try to get the car in the following day but there was no assurances anything would be repaired. I checked mechanics in Sedona and found canyon automotive with high reviews. So I took a chance and drove to Sedona with no power steering. The next day I called and made an appointment for 10 am. I had an ACIM group at 10 as well. I dropped off my car and by the time my group meditation finished the car was fixed. Marsha kept me up to date with what was happening with the car. Allen the mechanic explained everything in layman terms so I could understand. 150 bucks out the door, my vacation was saved, and I still was able to go to my ACIM class, and I had my car. The location is umassuming but dont let that fool you, they are big time. This business is world class!

My husband and I cant not say enough about Marsha she is amazing. She makes you feel like you are welcome and works her but off to help. Her assissant is just as hard working. Denny is an ace mechanic and he is incredible, all the mechanics are outstanding. It was a monday and extremely overly busy 5 people from out of town broke down including My husband and I. We are traveling across country and our front breaks were shot,totaly a rusted mess. Its only a few days before Christmas and we didnt have alot of money. Marsha helped find parts that comply but were not top price. We had to have rotors, calipers and brakes brand new. They were done in that day and are working outstanding. The price was very nice to. All we can say is thay are amazing. Dont hesitate to go see them if you need to.

I got my check engine indicator went on, so I asked those guys to scan and figure out the code. They charged me $53 to find out it was probably (thats what they said) an ignition coil and they wanted $600 to fix it. The same day I was at another auto repair center and the guy did the same job for free and it took him 20 seconds to give me the code. They take money for nothing, never even warn what the price will be.

Friendly, triages issues based on importance and budget, of issues fixed - no reoccurrence, and the transportation to work/home makes a day without a car...doable. THANK YOU!
