Very Poor.. I went there looking for a job after being laid off, they place you anywhere. They treat you like a puppet on a string. I wont single the man out but the whole Aerotek office on Rte 10 in Whippanny NJ is a joke.. One of the managers said to me after I left the job they placed me in which was a joke said We have to go our separate ways! I got my own job on my own. A union job. I would never recommend them to anybody. Dont waste your time.

I remember about 2 weeks ago when I got a phone call from Christal P about a job opportunity, when she told me she was from a recruiting agency, I thought it was a waste since I havent been lucky with agencies. But I was so wrong, Aston Carters service is awesome. They are very professional, I worked with Christal and Brendan and they were excellent, personable and caring. In a week, they helped me get a wonderful job with a great company. I appreciate all the service that I received and is very please. Very fast and professional hiring process. They offer multiple opportunities within different companies in the area. Within a 10-day time span she was able to schedule me for two interviews and was hired shortly thereafter with a fair wage. The aviation department at Aerotek only care about looking good to their clients (companies they recruit for). I’m sure they receive a commission of some sort when they find a job for you. They act as though they care about you as a human being, but they only care about meeting their quota. They have a salesman mentality, and not caring so much for your needs except their own. If you’re single, don’t have a family, and/or wouldn’t mind taking the risk, then this agency may fit your needs. As for those that are family-oriented and seek job security, I wouldn’t even bother with this agency at all.

I dont know about anybody else here but Nikos Gouvouniotis is certainly one of the best recruiters I have worked with(he is now an account manager). The best part of working with him was that he was always available. Texts,e-mails,calls he responded to everything and he did it instantly. I was also able to land the perfect job because he saw the potential in me and communicated the same to the client in a very efficient manner. I was unemployed for 5 months and I have to thank Nikos for finally landing me a job and easing off those loans:) I would definitely recommend Nikos and Aerotek

About a month ago, I got back from living abroad and from prior experience, I knew that going through a temp agency could be a quick way to get back to work. I want to say that this agency is a horrible, horrible agency and very unprofessional agency. I am talking about the aerotek in secaucus, NJUnfortunately, many people will not know or come to identify with my experience with this agency.I am totally against the recruiters, the managers, and the director of this agency as all of them very very unprofessional, misleading, and unfortunate people to work with. I believe the majority of the recruiters are like this in this company. Not fully sure but very likely.One of the recruiters had a job for me that was very close to my hometown and I gave it a shot. However, the recruiter, could not stop calling me during regular business hours when I was at another job. The recruiter also made changes to my resume without asking for my permission. Before, during, and after the interview of this company, the recruiter was pushy and wanted me to send a thank you note right away, and kept calling me nonstop to say something or so when. His boss did the same thing. I remember sending the recruiter a message about being respectful of my time. He didnt listen and insisted anyway. The recruiter appeared to have no sense of judgment or may just have no common sense on his part. I felt this was all harassment.The company (aeroteks client) eventually hired me the same exact day I had the interview. It was all weird to me as it sounded very desperate. The constant phone calls from the recruiter, asking to send the thank you right away after the interview, and his boss calling me right after telling me congratulations. After coming in on my first day, the manager and trainer were snobbish and came off too strong. The trainer, specifically was very standoffish and a very bad trainer. The manager and 80 percent of her employees cursed like if it was nothing. The recruiter would call and mention about every little fault I made and remarks from the company and even mentioned defamatory remarks to me because of the companys minor complaints against me.I complained about all of this to the director (He was probably the CEO) of the aerotek company. Though he appeared to understand what I was saying to him, wanted to resolve the issue, and didnt approve how the recruiter and his manager handled stuff, I felt he still took the companys side because of what the client mentioned to him about me. It was about the minor faults I had but faults that did not hurt the company but only made the manager and trainer uncomfortable. They never confronted me about but only told the recruiter and his manager and the director. There is always a solution to every problem and the way they went about it was very bad and not addressed in the right way.They are all very bad people and this agency is not there to help you but to find faults with you and control you as well as the companies they work for. Very inconsiderate, unprofessional, demeaning people. I would not recommend this agency to anyone but would recommend it only to my worst enemy.You will probably be surprised to know all of this as this is only one persons experience but perhaps the aeroteks in other states and in other areas in new jersey are probably better as I hope, but it is only this one, in secaucus that is messed up.
