I’m thankful a friend referred me to SSP. Its turned out to be a great community with exceptional coaches! Ive been attending PT sessions and classes for a year now, which is the longest Ive ever consistently worked out. I’m seeing results, getting stronger and becoming more confident!

I happened to join SSP just before I tore my ACL in March, and felt so happy to have coaches that were able to modify the workouts for me! I was able to get back in the gym less than 3 weeks after the surgery, and the strength classes were especially helpful to do alongside my PT exercises to get my knee back in shape. So thankful for the flexibility and the awesome coaches at SSP!

SSP has been so supportive and encouraging throughout my prenatal fitness journey. I really wanted to continue strength training throughout pregnancy and they have done an excellent job incorporating modifications so I can continue to train both safely and effectively. SSP has been a game-changer for me, both with my physical health and my excitement about going to the gym! I enjoy seeing familiar and new faces, the varied workouts, and seeing myself and others progress each week at SSP. Ive seen huge improvements in how much I can lift, my endurance, and my favorite result - increasing my deadlift weight!

My training sessions with Chris have helped me feel better in my body after having twins last year, and improved my mood and outlook during the onslaught of 2020. I am feeling so strong now, which makes it easy to carry the babies and play actively with my preschooler. I do all virtual sessions, which are incredibly convenient and make it easy to stay consistent. I highly recommend SSP!

What I have enjoyed about working at SSP is that it is consistently a positive place to work out. And no matter what level of fitness you are at SSP, coaches are there to help you along your fitness journey. Since joining, my overall well being has improved, as well as my strength.

Workout with Coach Chris is amazing. Been doing the Spartan workout series with him. Hes a spartan certified coach and makes sure to structure his workout to help with both strength as well as conditioning.Highly recommended if youre looking for a gym. SSP is not just a gym, its a community.All the coaches are great and pay attention to details working with you and your personal goals.Covid update : They make sure to keep masks on during workout. Enough space between stations. Outdoor workouts if you arent comfortable inside. They have adapted to the situation very well to keep you safe and fit.

SSP has been a great way to build sustainable habits and routines into our schedules and has helped us combat the creeping bad habits of the pandemic. We really love how the coaches tailor the workouts to the audience and always seem to know just how hard to push each individual. The online scheduling helps keep us accountable as we’re both mortified by the idea of disappointing Chris and Allie!

SSP really filled the gaps of my existing fitness routines. I knew I needed to add strength training, but got so much more than that. My running stamina and performance have improved as well as my overall strength. I grab heavier weight every week and couldnt be happier with my overall progress. Thanks SSP QA!

Quarantine was knocking me down over and over again until SSP helped me find the strength, in more ways than one, to get back up! Chris Travis is a great trainer! I have rheumatoid arthritis and my flare ups are unpredictable. Chris is able to meaningfully modify exercises in the moment for me- which I SO grateful for. He makes working out accessible for me.There is a variety of equipment and it is all in great condition. The sets/exercises Chris plans for each session are engaging, challenging and fun! I have learned a variety of exercises and how to safely use different equipment.Both SSP locations are clean, organized and have a great vibe.

SSP has the best coaches in Seattle. Ive been working out at SSP for almost a year now with Chris, and its been a great experience. All the coaches are very supportive and friendly. This has been a great place to train and accomplish my fitness goals; perfect place for all fitness levels. The gym is very nice and clean, and the equipment is very new. And of course, the best feature is the sense of community you get from the other members and trainers.

SSP is one of the best fitness communities in Seattle. It’s so much more than a gym - it’s like a family who likes to work out together! The instructors are super knowledgeable, friendly, and really care about you! The classes are semi-private training which works great because you are learning something new every class and you get a lot of individual attention! I’ve been coming to SSP for the last year and it has been one of the best decisions I’ve taken for my fitness!

My favorite thing about working out with SSP is that I have a coach to help guide me through and push me to do my best. Ive worked out in multiple gyms before and while I know my same basic routine, working with SSP has really pushed me to work out in ways that I couldnt do on my own. Its great having a customized plan for you to build off of, since starting about 2 months ago I have already made significant improvements, I have doubled the weights Im using in all exercises and can see the muscle definition on my body. It also keeps me committed, since I have scheduled workouts I never miss them because it is much easier to blow off your personal gym workout than it is to skip out on your coach. Overall, I love SSP because it keeps me committed, I can see and feel the results and it is a very supportive team that keeps me motivated and even excited to work out.

Been working out at SSP for over a year and enjoyed every minute. Chris Travis is an exceptional coach and knows how to assess his clients goals and then work towards achieving those. The new Queen Anne location is impeccably clean (as is the other location) and has brand new equipment which is exciting to be able to use essentially right out of the box. Training w/ Chris you can expect to be pushed to your limits to achieve results, but he also provides mental coaching for wherever you may be life, to help you achieve more. Whether you are a novice in the gym or a long time fitness fanatic, give training here a try and I don’t think you will look back.Thank you Chris and the SSP fam for support and helping me to achieve my goals - Highly recommend!
