Amazing gym! Great instructors—theyre super friendly and really great at teaching. Other members of the gym are also awesome and fun to be around, very welcoming atmosphere. Definitely would recommend this place whether youve never punched anything in your life or if youre a seasoned veteran!
Friendly people, good vibes, and no one is judging. What more do you want? 🤔
Just the workout place Ive been looking for a really long time. Russell is an awesome coach.
Russel is a great trainer for any skill level and finds a way to keep every class entertaining and fun, while being exhausting at the same time.
Awesome place for work out
Love this place so much. The UW boxing team trains here, so right away it feels legit, positive, and classy in there, yet it also somehow remains comfortable and laid back. Theres even a really cute and friendly dog running around the place sometimes. Very welcoming. Plenty of newbies and amateurs. Miraculously low d*bag count, especially for a combat sports gym (couldnt name even one). Im not even a boxer. I just go to hit the bags freestyle for exercise and enjoyment. At the going rate of $77.07 / month its the best deal Ive found for punching bags to hit in Seattle. There are classes and individual instruction available, too. They are very flexible about membership, so you could easily try it out and cancel. These are good, honest, community-minded people.
If you want to sweat like crazy while learning and mastering your boxing skills and techniques in the most fun and supporting atmosphere this is THE place! Russell is naturally gifted instructor - his classes are awesome - challenging and motivating with great dynamic. Open gym offers all the equipment needed to train solo. Both, Russell and Chloe give you personal attention and addressing any of your questions in the most friendly and professional way.And one more thing - my 13 years old son is training with Russell in the gym and he truly adores him and enjoys his boxing classes. Russell has a great approach to kids - he is an authority and a buddy in one person, encouraging and supporting trainer.
Love this gym! Very welcoming for beginners. I’ve wanted to start boxing for years now and this is the only place that has stuck for me. Great staff, decent prices for the coaching
Absolutely love this gym! Owners, Chloe & Russell, are very supportive and welcome to boxers of all skill levels. First class was free, great 1 hour classes that have my shirt drenched in sweat; each class is different and the 2 minute bell keeps the class moving and provides a variety of workouts in that hour. Location is great and the name of the gym is a one of a kind!
Chloe’s classes are the reason why I got back into exercising. I tried out so many gyms and never went back but now I’m constantly wanting to go to the gym!! Best gym ever!!!!!!
Just attended my second class. I was nervous at first, knowing nothing about boxing, but Russell is awesome and is such a positive and passionate instructor. On top of that, the other gym members were supportive and super friendly, making both visits seem less like a workout and more like a fun way to spend an evening. I purchased a 10 class pass and look forward to improving!
Great gym that’s accommodating for newbies and more experienced boxers. Wrist straps and gloves are provided and well maintained. The standard classes only include sparring if you’re comfortable, don’t stress it.
As much as I would love to keep this place to myself, doing so would cheat others from having the experience I have had during my first two visits. The place is very clean, well maintained, and open. As nice as that is,the presentation isnt the best part. The staff is what differentiates it from other gyms. They are very friendly, helpful and understanding of ones exposure or lack thereof to boxing. They are doing their best to get a middle -aged person like myself an adequate boxing skill foundation that can be used to enhance my fitness level. I am already using muscles I forgot existed. I signed up for the monthly classes and open gym. I am not a serious boxer but with it being home to the UW boxing team and the dedication I see from the staff, I dont think it is a stretch that it will work well for someone with that goal in mind.
Great class instruction by long-time boxers and fantastic workout.
Great Staff, the courtesy and respect shown to all whom come to train whether beginner or advanced is great to see. I feel right at home training here and trust the staff to train my son and myself. This is the place for a work out, cardio, or some true boxing training.
Sweating the whole time, I learned lots through the one on one coaching we got in our small group workout with Russell, the lead trainer. He taught us the basics and even let us try to knock him out at the end of our first class. Its uncanny how quickly he can dodge a jab. Im looking forward to developing my reflexes, speed and strength to be able to at least land one hit.Chloe, the owner and manager, was great at showing us how to wrap our wrists to avoid injury. She explained everything we needed to get the most out of out monthly membership which can be canceled at any time. They provide boxing gloves, wrist wrap and a water fountain.I would love to work out every day at this gym!
Great staff, friendly and helpful.
Everyone is super friendly and inviting. The owners are awesome and create a very family like atmosphere and always take care of their clients!
Great commodities for a local boxing gym (weights, machines, etc). Opportunity for growth with strong sense of community. Go dawgs! Go emerald city!
Clean facilities, variety in equipment, plenty of space, and great trainers who 10/10 will lovingly whip you into shape. I would highly recommend.
Good boxing gym. Instructors are knowledgeable and give you a good work out.
