Do not assume counselors here have the same level of experience or compassion. I have been seeing Claudia Correa for nearly a year.As Claudia quotes Viktor Frankl, the primary motivational force of an individual is to find a meaning in life. This was what Claudia wrote that made me enter into psychotherapy with her. I have a deep issue in finding meaning or motivation in life.Claudia stated that she specializes in patients with PTSD and anxiety, which I have! Claudia has been not helpful in either recognizing what can cause me anxiety even when I clearly explained it to her since the very first session.During this year, I have been seeing Claudia mostly twice a week! She hasnt been a very useful actor in my mental health. At a time when I had my issues flare up lately from a PTSD scar that I will not identify, Claudia did not give me the space to explain all the feelings going through me, talked over me and even judged me.During the very first time sensitive crisis episode Im having, she sent me a snail-mail-after-the-weekend to terminate my care. I feel sorry for having entrusted her with my well being. However, shes probably alright if all you need is chit chat.
Roberts a great person and counslor. Hes patient and genuine.
