They were very nice. I wanted to exchange a bulb horn the daughter received as a gift, that would not fit her bike, for a bell that would fit. They made it happen. Great attitudes. Extremely nice!

These folks have repaired several bicycles for me (that I couldnt do myself), and have always done an excellent and honest job for a great price. And they are really friendly!!

Awesome shop. All the employees are super nice and helpful. They don’t ignore and actually talk to you. And my two bikes are perfect!

Friendly and knowledgable staff. I was riding my 29BMX bike in the area and lost a bolt for the crank spindle and they had the part and tools to get me back riding in a couple minutes. Cool shop that I will definitely be visiting again when in the area.

This place is the best!!! Aaron and Andrew are great super nice, helpful, and honest.. I went to a different mechanic to swap out my free hub body to fit my cassette.. the mechanic told me He couldn’t do it and I would need to get a new cassette and new derailleur that would cost me about $550+... plus he was mean... I then went to Seal Beach Cyclery, they told me they could swap out the free hub body no problem.. the modification with parts and labor only costed me $90!!! They were super nice and explained everything along the way!! Thanks a bunch you guys!!

After several experiences with shops on the central coast by far the best has been Main Street Cycles. Customer service is top notch. The guys here are very knowledgable. New to bikes, so it can be intimidating at shops that expect you to know more. This shop is welcoming. They will have all my bike business.

Disk brake pads were 15$ per wheel, but they charge 20$ a wheel to install. 40$ for 20 minutes of work is pretty high. Wish I knew before ringing up.

Have taken my bikes here on multiple occasions. Very friendly and always do good work.

Paul the owner is very involved to provide the best solutions and options. We needed bikes for my family and we all had different needs. He listened to what we wanted and customized solutions and adjusted the bikes in order to give us exactly what we needed. It was a crazy and fun experience and I am petite and needed a bike that what not too big but had the functionality of my husbands. We got the bikes ordered and he made adjustments and switched out seats to make sure it would work for me. He was able to order and provide will all the locks, accessories and bike racks to ensure we would use these fabulous and beautiful bikes and were completely dialed in. Great customer service...friendly & professional! I walked in with my bicycle that had been sitting for a while, and the staff accommodated me, tuned up my bike in less than 20 minutes & I was out the door (for only $10)!!! Perfect!!

Repair of our tandem bike disappointing. Kept bike 3 wks, didnt fix our primary request to do brake adjustment, it still rubs tires. Bought a bell which wasnt installed when we picked up bike. Repair prices were high. Wish our experience had been positive like so many others reviews here, but it wasnt.

My poor Phat cycle needed 2 new tires and tubes...and Jonathan saved the day by replacing everything for a very reasonable price in just one day. I wasnt in a hurry, but I got the impression that they could have provided same-day service if necessary. The shop has a good selection of accessories, and the staff was very helpful.This is my new local shop that I will rely upon for all of my biking needs.

Great place to service your bike. I had a flat on the rear tire on my ebike. I knew it was a hassle to fix with the motor on the rear tire, but they fixed it in one day.

I dropped of my wheels to get new tubes and the guys had the job done in about 20 minutes AND I got to pet an awesome dog while I was there! Ill come back here if I need anything else done. Id stop by just to pet the dog. Thanks guys!

I had a less than every day bike repair I had been avoiding for some time... until it became non usable. I dreaded finding a shop that could handle it.... but to my delight when I called Main St, Jonathan told me over the phone it would not be a problem and I just picked it up and they did a splendid job! Jonathan and Aaron are also very nice and I will not let things go this far again knowing honest, fast and nice repairs are available in my own town!

Took my bike in to get some new tires put on. Guy said to give him 45 min to an hour so I left my bike there and went and got lunch...2 hours pass still no call...finally went back about 5pm. When I came back the guy told me he hadnt got to it yet! Really dude! ...and no courtesy call to inform me? Said he got busy. Really? ... with what? ..I am figuring he mustve put some other customers in front of me after I left. This was DEFINITELY NOT the way I like to be treated...especially as a new customer . I like to shop local so it is unfortunate that I will not be going back to them. Come on guys! Try to treat new customers with a little more respect . I WASTED an afternoon waiting for you to do nothing...you could have at least called.

Our friend forgot the bike locks for our ride today so we stopped by to pick one up. They were the most friendly and helpful folks weve come across since buying our new bikes. Price, knowledge and service was great! The dog is a nice touch too....I think they will be our go to spot going forward even though we live in La Palma.

On a recent bike ride through Seal Beach the chain on my beach cruiser unexpectedly broke leaving my daughter and I stranded. We dropped by the shop where we were greeted by the owners, Sloan & Jonathan who said they could fix the chain on the spot. Jonathan even took the time to fix the mystery squeak on my daughters scooter making her day too. My family and I highly recommend Main Street Cyclery for the service and fair prices!
