Sadly, this is not a positive review. My son decided to try Super Cuts in Seal Beach today and was far from happy with the results and attempt to discuss a resolution. He has extremely curly hair and asked for a fade going from a 4 to a 1. What he received per the stylist was a disconnect very high on the sides and uneven from left to right. He walked out of the shop looking like an uneven Cockatiel. When I returned with him to resolve the situation, we were immediately greeted with a rude, Did you sign in online? I asked for a manager and the conversation went downhill from there. No manager was onsite, my request for a refund was met with contempt and accusations.

Got the worst haircut of my life at this place. I didnt plan on posting a review but since it keeps asking me I will oblige. I think the girl only knows one style, the one she wears so that is what I got. She did not take into account the texture of my hair and the fact that the shorter it is cut the more curly it becomes. My hair is challenging, it is like baby hair but with a twist. I rarely ever get my hair cut because most people just dont get it. The Professional Hairdresser I have gone to is ill, so it has been over a year since my last cut. I told the girl this and she just starting chopping away. She even negated what I requested, long layers. This is what I have always done but she said it wasnt appropriate. So now, it has been three months and I am only now able to get my hair into a pony tail. This was one of the few requests I had. It was cut so short, I was barely able to get a small nub of a pony tail. I have worn a hat ever single day since this hair cut and imagine that it will be at least a year before it grows out enough that I can have a professional fix it, with long layers. I will never visit Supercuts ever again. And she told me she had just been promoted to some sort of manager! Absolutely terrible!!!

This place almost never opens on time. I waited over 15 minutes past opening even though we saw hair stylist in the place 10 minutes BEFORE opening time. WTF? Im not sure the cheap haircut for my 8-year-old is worth the aggravation.

Emergency drop-in for shampoo and trim. Very conservative cut for my oblique style. I was hoping for more texture and more edgy. But she listened, did more trimming, and I ended up looking fine.

Chairs are too high for some disabled people. I was told all the chairs are that way. I have not had that experience at other shops.I was 2nd on the list. The lady before me gave her spot to a friend, then it should have been my turn, but they took her next. When I was called, I was asked if I was ready, answered I have been ready which made the stylist anger. I was told a 5 minute wait but because I was not taken in proper order, I was 25 minutes wait. The haircut was good but I wont be back because of the lack of service.

The manager dude is a great stylist/barber and good conversation.

I was very disappointed today to find out that calling ahead to make an appointment means nothing in this facility. They were busy, true, but my mother is very old, infirm and ill. She cannot sit around and wait, and they knew that. As for Lisa the manager, she’s great and we love her, but when she’s not there, don’t count on this group to have s heart.

Worlds longest haircut. I swear they let the girl whos supposed to just sweep up the hair and answer the phone cut my hair. My hair takes my normal guy 20 min including shampoo. She took 35 just to cut my hair and she did a poor job. She also took frequent breaks to talk with her white trash coworker about her relationship problems. Be professional. I will never be returning.

I would give No Stars if I could. Worst service I have ever had. Called to see if my daughter and I could walk in, asked a few questions and was satisfied with the response, so we went right in (8 min drive). We waited 90 mins!!! A new walk in comes in and the stylist we were waiting for asks the woman who just walked in and signed in what her name was. The stylist asked her if she had been there before. Her reply was no. The stylist says oh ok let me put your information in the system. I couldnt believe what I was witnessing. I interjected and said excuse me weve been here 90 minutes waiting. Lets just say after I let her know that her costumer service skills were very poor and need attention, she said she no longer felt comfortable cutting my daughters hair, nor did she have experience cutting curly hair (which I asked over the phone) . Btw this was my 9 year olds very first haircut ever. I went across the street with no problem, told them of our horrible experience in the same tone I was speaking to the previous stylist and ended up with a free service along with a great cut and smiling child. I tipped 50% of the service just for her DOING HER JOB.

Terrific place. The manager was genial and she gave me a really great cut beyond anything my ill-informed mind could imagine.

Went with my cousin I cut my own hair, but my cousin likes people to do it for him so he went for a fade cut and the guy did a beautiful job, it was a Sunday evening before they closed I think the price was 14 bucks plus tip, and they did a great job friendly staff.

I love this place, the women here are awesome.

For barber like fades and great service we always go on the weekends and ask for Tommy . Hes can do it all womans hair or a mens cut. Hes the one for the job
