I just purchased a 2021 Tesla Model Y and wanted to get the Clear Bra and window tinting done. After doing research and calling around the team at Cactus tint were the most knowledgeable and patient.I had lots of questions and Rick and his team were more than happy to answer them all.I have had a few friends get the clear bra done on their cars and all have commented on how well mine was done.I cant recommend Cactus Tint enough!

I recently purchased a Tesla with the enormous glass roof and knew I had to get the windows tinted. A friend of mine purchased a vehicle a few months before me and told me that I also have to get the vehicle wrapped to protect the paint. I started googling places to go, but I really had no idea.My friend told me about Cactus Window Tint, how they were right across the street from Tesla and how well his experience went.Before my vehicle was delivered, I stopped in to talk with the team to see what they could do. The lobby was clean and professional. When you check out the tints and what they are capable of (I have not tinted a vehicle in 10+ years), wow has technology come a long way. There are various levels and manufacturers that do the job differently, but their display really helps you understand what you are paying for.They were not pushy, but they helped me understand the options and costs. Additionally, they worked with me as my delivery date kept changing. Once the vehicle was finally delivered, they allowed me to drive it right across the street and leave it with them so they could tint the windows and do a clear bra on the front of the vehicle. They also helped me better walk the vehicle to look for things that Tesla should fix as they are notorious for assembly issues.Once it was ready, I picked it up with the family and was blown away at how well they did. I would not even know about this place without the referral so hopefully this review helps someone.I dont know their costs compared to other companies, but I do know you get what you pay for. They do excellent work, for what I believe is a reasonable price and the end result was spectacular.I will definitely use them again should the situation present itself.

Very friendly very professional great service. Extremely nice waiting room. Right across the street from Tesla if you want to pick up an extra key card. Just be aware you cannot program a new key card without another key card in case you forgot it.

I have had two vehicles tinted by Cactus and they do incredibly high quality work. They are booked out weeks in advance for a reason - definitely worth the wait. Being new to AZ, the team at Cactus helped me choose the right products for my vehicles and the results have really changed how Im able to drive during the day and at night. Rick, the owner, is a stand up guy and is really easy to chat with. He’s very low pressure and advises and teaches as opposed to selling you. He comes across as very honest, and that’s why I’ve been using him for a really long time. And of course his work is flawless. He even recently recommended a dent removal guy (Dent Medic) that worked magic. Rick has done clear bra’s & tint on my Tahoe, Jeep Grand Cherokee & my Sierra 2500. I can’t recommend him enough.

Great shop if you want professional, high quality work. They did the tint everywhere on our Tesla (including roof and windshield), PPF’d our front and chrome deleted it... Brought in my Honda Accord Coupe to get some window tinting before summer of 2017. I paid around $300-$400. When I got my car back after the work there were about 6 or 7 areas on my back window that were completely messed up and splotchy. After talking to the company they said it was the design of my car’s back window, and I should bring it back and they will try to fix it. Well after getting it back the area only looked worse, and they said to give it a couple months which has not helped. The only reason I gave them two stars was because they tried to help fix it and the side windows look fine. Watch out if you have a Honda Accord coupe or another coupe.

We have had three cars tinted here at Cactus Window Tint and wouldnt go anywhere else. My wife just bought a new C-Max and they did an awesome job getting the crummy dealer installed tint off and putting on some high quality tint. Our car we traded in was 7 years old and still had the window tint that Cactus put on back in 2010 with no bubbles or fading. And on top of that the leather interior was in perfect showroom condition. If you want to add some style and protect the interior of your car there is no better place to go!

Having not purchased window tint in 10 years I was amazed at how much it had changed. They walked me through all the options and taught me a lot. I could select not just the color but what level of UV and heat blocking I wanted. They had these great displays with heat lamps that helped me better understand what my options were. There are multiple reasons that I think makes Cactus Tint the best quality tint and paint protection film shop in the Phoenix area.1) Rick (the owner) is very knowledgeable and is low pressure on making a sale. He will also take time to make sure you are informed on the different options.2) They carry high quality products (some of which are challenging to find at other shops).3) They pay attention to fine details making a better than normal end result.4) They are honest. I was exploring one option and Rick told me that he would do it if I wanted but it would be a waste of money. So it is definitely not all about increasing the sale.5) Customer service is at a high standard. I had complex scheduling issues that they worked around even though it was not convenient for them.6) I have peace of mind going with them because after having them work on 2 of my cars I am confident that if there is ever a problem with the tint or paint protection film they will be there to help me out and they will stand by their work.

Man what an amazing job they do and Ricks customer service is out of this world! I got scammed by a tint shop saying they had 3M Crystalline but really it was a cheap knock off tint. I immediately called Rick and when I went in I explained how I got scammed. He took me through the whole process to ensure I was getting 3M Crystalline tint. He even showed me the 3m watermarks on the tint. Ill definitely be going here and only here in the future for tint.

Im extremely pleased with the quality of the work done tinting the windows of my Tesla Model 3. Honestly, it looks flawless and their ability to apply tint to the giant rear window in one, continuous expanse of film is really impressive. I was mostly concerned about reducing heat transmission which the recommended film does very effectively but, as a bonus, I think the overall appearance of the car has been significantly upgraded. They absolutely earned their pay as far as Im concerned.

Clear bra?! What clear bra!! Thats seriously the point of getting one right, obviously to protect the bumper, but you also dont want to be able to see it. Rick was great, scheduling was great, car looks great!!

I moved to the valley with 4 vehicles ill prepared for the Arizona summer. Rick and his crew did a fantastic job on the cars. My Genesis is all glass and I had all surfaces in the Genesis tinted (legal tint job that I can actually see out of my car at night.) Parked in 114 degree direct sunlight last weekend and the car was hot but no skin melting on hot leather, fantastic.

Awesome customer service, they take the time with each individual person to talk about and advise them about what’s best for their car. They even have the actual product on these test boards that you can take outside and assess how the tint is going to look. Also experienced great customer service when I dropped off the car right at opening and decided to wait instead of leave and wait for their call that it’s finished (the preferred way to do it), and they made it a priority to get it done! All my vehicles in the past have had some kind of tint on them, none have ever been applied as well as from Cactus... the film was cut so close to the edge of the glass, it’s almost hard to tell that it isn’t part of the glass itself! No question where I’ll be recommending people to go, and go myself for any service they offer!

Hello,I own a Porsche 996 and had minor headlight aging. Stopped in and got myself an estimate and was very pleased with the price quote that I received from Rick. I was skeptical at first to have anything done to my car from a local shop. After speaking with Rick and shopping around, I pulled the trigger and went with the restoration of the headlights. I felt confident with my decision from the tremendous professionalism and knowledge that I received from Rick. I dropped the car off and was shuttled back until the work was done. The work was done in a timely manner, and was called when it completed. I was extremely satisfied with the work that was done to the vehicle. The headlights were brand new once again. Crystal clear! I also had them install clear film over the headlights so they dont get sun damage once again from this Arizona sun. I fully will recommend this shop for anyone that cares about their vehicle, as much as I do to mine. Before making your decision on whatever you are going to have done, stop by and talk to Rick. They are worth talk to before you have anything done. Rick will not recommend you something that you dont want to have and will help you feel comfortable with your decision. Im not sure how they got so many five star reviews! The service we recieved at Cactus Window Tint was awful!My wonderful husband made an appointment with the owner to surprise me by getting my windows tinted in order to endure the Arizona summer heat. In addition to driving an hour to get to the location by 9:30am Saturday morning, he also had a babysitter for our daughter.The owner informed him over the phone that it would take 3 hours to complete the install and we provided them with 5 hours. Upon arriving at the location, the receptionist looked at my car and said they didnt have us down for tint removal, only install. She also informed us that it would be another $100 to remove the tint and they couldnt get it done by 2:30pm, to the extent they couldnt provide us with an ETA. Her recommendation was to drop it off another time during the week, which given the distance from our house, is not an option.The owner, at no point, asked if the windows were already tinted while my husband was setting up the appointment and, as a tinting expert, the responsibility is clearly with the business. I dont know anyone who lives in Arizona without having their car windows tinted!Neither the owner nor the receptionist were concerned that they inconvenienced our entire day or were sincerely apologetic for the poor experience.There are other locations to get tinting done within Arizona. I recommend choosing another company to do business with.

Came in to get my Tesla tinted. Had a great discussion and was given solid advice (I went home and did my own research as well). The price was fair for what I got. The quality of the work though is damn impressive. It just looks like my car came this way. And the advice I got about which tint to get based on how it would look on the car? Spot on. The car looks 10x better now with the tint. Highly recommended locally owned establishment. Will be taking all our cars here.

You didnt buy your car because it was the cheapest, so why wouldnt you put the same value toward making it look great! I shopped around quite a bit before landing on Cactus. They definitely were the least expensive but they also werent the most expensive. In the end it was the reviews and customer stories that brought me in and I couldnt have been happier. Not only do they know their products and what theyre doing, they also have a level of customer service and outward attitude rarely seen in any automotive business. Cactus window tint did an awesome job tinting our SUV windows. First they had to remove the old tint in order for a more Arizona appropriate tint that our SUV desperately needed.Rick and his team did a really good job. They have several different products to choose from. You can pick different tint levels based on sun solar heat blocking ability as well as tint colors.Arizona is so sunny that darker tint is a must. I will go to Cactus again when I need window tint.

This review is long overdue. We brought my wife’s 2012 Acura MDX in for the two front windows to be tinted back in August 2019 Initially, I stopped by to get more info. Rick was patient and informative. He laid out the options and I went home to do a little research. We decided on a 3M product and set up an appointment. The day of the appt we had some questions and Rick answered them. He had a doctor appt but he stayed to talk, making him late. We waited in their comfortable waiting room and were done fairly quickly. The job was well done and we are nothing but pleased!! We requested that they not get the interior door wet and they honored it. The tint blocks the heat very well and actually matches the factory tint. My wife wish we would have done this sooner. It’s been over 3 months now and it looks like the day they applied it. We have another car (Tesla) needing tint. You bet I will be seeing Rick and his crew soon!!

I had a small issue with part of the tint. They took care of it immediately. They should write a book on “customer service”. The way they took care of my issue is the way every business should do it. This is only place I will go to for window tinting my cars!!!

These guys did a wonderful job on my car. No bubbles. Lol. Everything looks nicer outside now. Hope it keeps me cool this summer. Price was good too.

The tint isnt cheap, but it WORKS. There is some serious science behind the products they carry. If you want effective tint, done right, go here.

Got the heat blocking 3M and it was worth it. Will for sure take any new car I get to have the same done.

Rick has tinted my car completely (2005 BMW M3) and subsequently when Ive had to have my windshield replaced, hes tinted it and worked with the windshield companies (Auto Glass Direct or Safelite AutoGlass) to then have them bring the windshield to my job to have it replaced.5 stars for Cactus Window Tint.

So I must say I was treated like I knew someone at the shop.I didnt...On two separate visits I was educated about the films, given a demo where I could feel the difference in heat vs different types of tint. My vehicle had old tint that needed to be removed. This all sounds easy, but not when your car was ordered with a rear window defrost and the factory climate control computer is routed thru that rear defrost! You cant just cut the thing off the glass and ignore the that its part of the car & connected to a computer on a car!It took them 3 & 1/2 hours to remove the old tint as it broke off in tiny pieces.I tell this story because other tint shops told me there would be damage to my rear defrost & that comment was before they even started to work on things.The actions of Cactus Window Tint speak volumes about ethics and doing things right the first time and standing behind your work!If you want it done right, go see these gentlemen. They will treat you and your Car, Suv, Sports Car or truck like you know someone at the shop. Hats off to Chris & Rick @ Cactus Window Tint!
