I love this place. It’s hard scheduling a minor with the text system we often have to get rescheduled and the text system they use isn’t that great all together. Other than that, if you’re an adult, they are decent at waxing. I think that if they educated you more on how eyebrows grow, they could be better. I love the interior decor of the building off Princess.

Full bikini wax probably the worst Ive had. Still had wax on top and was difficult to trim away. It was also uneven and overall poor quality. I booked appy for Alexa who is great and very detailed oriented only to get there to be told she wasnt in and someone else filling in for her. They should have called and I would have rescheduled. There is a reason I booked specific person. Will see what they can do to redeem themselves otherwise I will never go back.

What an experience!!! Alexa was so awesome!!! She was very personable/easy to talk to. She has a great technique. I personally barely felt anything. It could have also been the quality of the product used, but it was very smooth process; especially since it had been a very very long time since my last Brazilian. Alexa also explained the difference between sugaring and waxing as I was not aware how different they are. The facility ambiance was nice and relaxing. It was also very clean without a sterile feel. I would definitely go back if I lived in the area.

I was so disappointed with my appointment. I have done sugaring before and my results lasted for 4 weeks on my underarms.. the room was really warm and I was sweating. The girl doing my arms was saying I was sweating a lot but the room temp was so warm in there from what im used to most places are cold so you dont sweat. Its been over a week and my hairs are growing back. I feel like I got ripped off... my armpits were red and irritated for several days and ive never had this reaction before..I asked how long the girl has been doing this for and she said a few months.. which I think next time I would go with someone with more experience. I was upset to have paid so much and only to have a result last for a week. /:

I had to come back and change my review unfortunately. I signed up for their membership because I planned on being a long term customer. The sugarwax Brazilian was what they told me would work best for my skin. They performed my first Brazilian ever. I loved it at first but as the days passed I kept having issues with itchy bumps. I was told I needed some product to help with ingrown hairs. So I purchased the product. The first wax I had so many ingrown hairs it was crazy. I never had a problem with ingrown before and they left horrible scars. So I tried a second time thinking my body just needed to adjust. I also had the product so I figured it would be better. Nope exact opposite more ingrown hairs and itchy bumps that reminded me of razor bumps. So I canceled my membership. Dont try to communicate with the company they work through text messages only which is highly annoying when your having a skin reaction and need to speak to someone. Listen to your skin is my advice because all this company wanted was to sale me products that didnt work and was actually made for your face and get you to sign up for their membership.

I am new to the area; so when I booked my appointment at Sugar Me Wax, I assumed I was getting a Sugar Wax, which was not the case, and the young lady I had, Dakota (who was amazing), was not able to provide this service, which meant I would need to reschedule or get a wax. I opted for the wax, and was more then satisfied, but felt that the receptionist should have let me know that there were options, regular waxing one of them. Would I go back, absolutely, and have booked another appointment with Dakota!

This was my first time here getting my underarms waxed. I used to go to Bare Necessity Wax and Spa in Gilbert before I moved to North Phoenix. They did a perfect job on my underarms every time so I know how a good wax should be. This place just seemed unprofessional. The lady thought I was doing a Brazilian wax, then said she only does Brazilian waxes but could try underarms. She was the only one working but I should have just left there and then. The wax they use is terrible, I’ve never had a more painful and drawn out experience when she slowly tugged the strip off my underarms. She also told me she only wears a mask at work and refuses to wear one anywhere else. That’s not something to share with your client when you’re inches from their face during COVID-19. I would maybe go back if I saw reviews about a technician who was particularly good at underarm waxing.

Ive been here twice. I traveled from south Phoenix because my first time here was a great experience. The second time not so much. They have a grace period of 4 minutes I believe. I was only 1 minute over the grace period. I get in and the receptionist said she was on the wrong location appointment page so it took her even longer to find my appointment. By the time she finds it she tries to tell me that Im too late and Ill have to reschedule. I drove 40 minutes to get here and she suggested I come back or I can wait for over an hour in my car. She said that the aesthetician wouldnt have enough time to do my wax. She said that she wouldnt want it to be rushed and something to go wrong. I ask if theres anything we can do and she insists there isnt. Ten minutes had already passed since Ive arrived. I had asked to speak to the manager that she said was in a meeting so it may take a while. As Im waiting the aesthetician who was scheduled walks out with a client. So even though I was late I wouldnt have been seen for a while anyways. The receptionist said she spoke with the aesthetician and that she would be willing to take me. As Im going to the back the aesthetician apologized for being late for my appointment. I couldnt believe I almost had to leave and come back for an appointment that I would have had to wait for in the first place.

The newbie wax form was informational. When I started asking concerning questions about the waiver and pre prep I felt the receptionist was coming off a tad annoyed. However, the aesthetician 💕Stephanie✨removed all traces of fear, hesitation and question regarding customer service for this establishment. She was immediately friendly and welcoming. Considering there a lot of people staying in considering the craziness going on, she was very mindful of it being my first time getting waxed and basically being pretty vulnerable. She didn’t mind chatting w/me the whole time. She checked in and asked how I was doing. I was asking her questions during the session randomly even about other services and beauty questions and she didn’t hesitate to offer answers or assistance. She was goofy, funny and unique. When I am able to routinely have this services done, I would no doubt go back to her, choose her as my weekly or monthly gal for services! Today I arrived at the Scottsdale and Pima location for my appointment at 3pm. I was told by the receptionist that I did not have an appointment today but that it was tomorrow. After I show the receptionist my confirmation email and text messages she went on to tell me that it was her first day and didn’t know how to handle this situation and no one is available, but that I was not responsible for the $10 penalty fee for missing my appointment tomorrow because I have to work 🤯. This is my second time having a ridiculous experience with this company. I drove 30 minutes there and back in traffic to basically be told that I’m SOL/deal with it. I’m not sure what company would put a receptionist upfront that is not properly trained. For a busy mother with a full time job it infuriates me how this situation took time out of my day. Maybe if the company would deal with their customers personally and not through a text messaging service, appointments wouldn’t get lost and customers wouldn’t have to waste their time. So disappointed

It’s great when there are no problems with scheduling or the incompetence of the front office staff. They honestly seem like they are distracted, or straight up not paying attention to any sort of detail. I have honestly thought of canceling my new membership with them and I’ve only been there once! I have at least 20 text with the front office starting from Saturday to get myself in. With them changing appointments, scheduling them wrong and with another aesthetician without my prior knowledge. I’m so irritated with the front office in every aspect. Let’s see if I keep this going…

Saw a few ladies before I found Sandra. Let me tell you about her. So nice so friendly and VERY knowledgeable! She gave me lots of tips and tricks to prevent in grown hairs. I wish I lived closer so I could see her again, but I found a new lady at a different location. Sugar Me Wax hires the best ladies as no matter which location (Ive been to 3) Ive had the same level of service and I wont change companies.

Strike two, Sugar Me Wax, and youre out. You dont get the third strike like in baseball. Today marked my second visit here. My first visit was several years ago to get my eyebrows sugared. When I arrived, the esthetician told me that she was still in training and that she was not able to sugar but she could use hard wax.Flash forward several years later to an appointment to get my ears sugared. They dont take appointments over the phone. You have to make an appointment through text or online. I made my appointment for the same day, which was great. I got my email confirming the sugar hair removal for my ears. It wasnt until I arrived that they told me that they dont sugar ears. This was frustrating on several fronts. They told me this as soon as I walked in the door. If you knew that this was going to be an issue before I arrived, why didnt you call me before I drove all the way here? Its also annoying because I have an email confirmation showing that they sugar ears. Ive been to several other salons in the valley that sugar ears, so it wasnt even something I would think to ask when making the appointment. Maybe if you were able to contact Sugar Me Wax by phone, this all could have been avoided.

I come here every 3-4 weeks and it is the BEST place ever! Very clean, the staff is super friendly and always welcoming. I usually call them at the last minute to get an appointment and theyre ALWAYS great with getting me in at the time I need. Theyre amazing! Wow! Let me tell you, i love leaving good reviews for places that truly deserve it! First off, I was super nervous even making an appointment because I have never been sugared or waxed EVER anywhere, at all! Well, my wedding is in two days, so I convinced myself to do it. SO, I googled places that had the best reviews, did my research, etc.I came across Sugar Me Wax, and I tried booking at ALL of their locations online, but all appointments were filled for the friday (today) that I needed/was only available. So, I called, and left a voicemail, and they got back to me via text right away (which worked out great because I was babysitting at the time). They heard I was getting married, so the manager that normally does not work on Fridays, came in specifically so they could have an open spot for me on this particular friday! How sweet was that?! Sandra was SO unbelievably sweet and very professional. I expressed my timidness and being shy, but she made me feel as comfortable as possible and was amazing with the education throughout the whole process. We did try some wax in some areas, but we found out my body peels and reacts a bit to the wax but NOT sugaring, which was also A LOT less painful than the waxing. The whole experience was one for the books, and let me tell you, it was a clean place! When she would move to a different part of the body, she would change gloves, and clean areas before and after to make for a safe, bacterial free environment. It was also nice for her to let me know and communicate with the front that Sandra could not get some areas off, because I had shaved within less than 7 days prior to this appointment. So, even though she tried these areas with sugaring and minimal waxing, she knew what was best for my skin and body and made sure I wasnt charged for those areas! I am so happy with this place and would recommend to SUGAR yourselves because they are worth it! Entire staff so sweet! Thank you!!

I had my first waxing experience there and couldnt be happier. I walked in early to my appointment to make sure everything was settled and they got me in early. They estimate the visit to last 1 hr for a manzilian it took less than 20 minutes with at the same time being informed and professionally handled. My aesthetician continued good conversation during the whole experience and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. (conversation helps with the hair removal). I will be continuing to come to this location and strongly suggest checking them out if you are a first timer like I was and if you are a male worried about the experience in any way.

Layne is heaven sent!!! I religiously come every 4 weeks for a Brazilian wax. She is the wax GURU!!! I have been to many places and have NOT gone back because of how terrible the technicians were. Well NOT here!!! She is so very skilled, gentle, and like magic Im and out in less than 30 mins!! I have NO irritation, NO bumps. I have been to other places where it was so very painful, I ended up leaving with massive skin irritations, and bumps. Layne has completely made all of those issue disappear!!! When you come here you will NOT go anywhere else! I have and will continue to be a faithful customer for many many years to come!!

I was really disappointed in my Brazilian experience. I’ve been waxed before, so I knew what to expect, and have a fairly high pain tolerance. This was the most painful wax I’ve ever had. The wax kept ripping or she would pull it before it was set, and she waxed the same spot 4x on both sides. When I got home I discovered an entire strip of hair that was missed and a chunk of wax in my crack that I can’t get out. I was looking forward to trying the sugar wax but was told they don’t typically do that for Brazilians, but she used the hard wax everywhere, including my underarms.

The only reason I choose this establishment for my first time, was because of the great reviews, and honestly, the reviews were soooo right about everything. If youre anything like me and have to research every last detail before you decide to do something new, you know how important the reviews are. Since this was my first time, I was incredibly nervous. I had no idea what to expect, I only knew that it would hurt... However my experience was exactly the opposite of what most tv/movies overreact. Shelly was amazing! She instantly made me feel comfortable and was so friendly and personable! For the record, it does hurt but not nearly as much as you would think. May have been my first time, but definitely not my last!

I had lash extension done with Alba. I had two appointments with her, and she did great job on making sure I was comfortable and the lashes came out great. However, I have stopped going to her because of scheduling issues. I made my appointment with her for 6/30 about three weeks in advance. Even during my appointment on 6/12, she and I were talking about my holiday plan and I wanted to add some colored lashes. On 6/28, they texted me and told me that Alba wouldnt available on 6/30, and they were trying to reschedule my apartment for 7/1 or 7/6. Since it was the 4th of July weekend, I had plans to be out of town first thing on 7/1. I wasnt able to take the appointment on 7/1. Since it was such a short notice, I was unable to find another salon to get refills. As a result, I had. I choice but not getting them done. There was explanation on why she became unavailable all of sudden. It was such a disappointment that a professional salon would cancel appointments like this and they do not have any other people on staff to do lashes. Alba does good job on lashes; however, I would not recommend her if you are not flexible on your schedule.

I have been sugaring for around 4 years. I recently moved to a different part of town and saw an ad for Sugar Me Wax, after reading reviews it looked like a great place so I scheduled an appointment. On the day of my appointment I was running behind so I called to inform them, when calling I was told they would send me a phone number to text as they do not take calls (not sure what their receptionists do) the number texted me back and I told them I was running late. They told me they would hold my appointment for 5 minutes past my original appointment. I made it in the 5 minutes and checked in, my esthetician took me back to the room 30 minutes later (I cant be more than 5 minutes late but its ok to make me wait 30 minutes). The esthetician was really nice and apologetic. She said she trains all the other people who do sugaring. Although she was super nice in all my years of sugaring I have never experienced the pain that I felt after this sugaring. Because of all the circumstances I CANNOT recommend this business and will not return. I can only take all the positive reviews as luck or they have never known any different.

Breanna was wonderful! I did the sugar Brazilian, and regular wax for full legs and under arms. The whole process took only 45 minutes. Quick & relatively painless. I definitely recommend this cute place!

I was a walk in and the service was fantastic! Shelly made me feel like I was a member versus a new customer. It was relatively pain free and not at all awkward. Professional, friendly and close to home! Ive already spread the word to friends....try it out!

Excellent!!! Layne did my microblading and did an excellent job. I was so nervous because i am very blonde. She gave me the perfect shade that fit my coloring! My shape is perfect and I couldnt be happier.
