Paul is very personable and is actually enjoyable to spend time while driving around town looking at houses. He was actively involved throughout the entire process, from locating a house, negotiating the contract, getting comps and otherwise assisting with our lender, helping us through the inspection process, and assisting with the closing documents. He also did a great job with staging and selling our previous house. I have recommended Paul to several family members and friends and would not hesitate to do so in the future.

This review is somewhat overdue since we closed and moved into our new home about 2 months ago. We worked with both Ray and Paul as a team in both the sale and purchase of our house and couldnt have been more pleased. Paul actually finalized both deals and was able to coordinate both closings on the same date, along with all the extra paperwork and outside agencies involved (title company, service warranty and inspection related contractors). Everything moved along very smoothly and we would highly recommend Paul to anyone especially interested in the Scottsdale and surrounding areas.

My wife and I had a very unfortunate experience working with Mr. Paul Slaybaugh of Realty Executives in Scottsdale. We were out-of-state buyers who had spent considerable time with Mr. Slaybaugh, looking at properties in the Scottsdale area. He appeared to understand what we were looking for, and we felt comfortable working with him. After some personal, on-site visits, and remotely looking at many homes, Mr. Slaybaugh found us a property that had the features we sought - or so we were led to believe. His description, along with some carefully selected photos which he provided, made it appear to be just the house we were looking for. We were not able to return to Scottsdale to see this particular property prior to placing an offer, as we had just spent a week looking at properties with Mr. Slaybaugh the month before. Since we were unable to visit, we asked Mr. Slaybaugh to recommend two qualified inspectors; one home inspector and one pest inspector. What we didnt know, until further into the State of Arizonas investigation, was that the inspectors were more closely associated with Mr. Slaybaugh than he led us to believe. Each inspector had left off of their reports, serious house deficiencies. These “oversights” were too numerous and serious to simply be casual errors. After we filed detailed complaints with the respective State agencies, and had several visits by State officials, each of the inspectors were sanctioned by their respective State Licensing boards - one of the inspectors being fined in excess of $6,000, due to gross negligence. One inspector also lost his job. Each of Mr. Slaybaugh’s “highly recommended” inspectors had left off of their reports to us, numerous, serious house deficiencies. Serious enough that had we known, we would not have purchased this house. The inspector with the larger fine apparently had been down this road before. And this doesnt even include the civil suits we prevailed on. While Mr. Slaybaughs inspector-buddies initially had quickly and collectively, fallen on the sword, none realized my wife and I were not going to let this fraud go unpunished. The only one that escaped punishment - for now, was Mr. Slaybaugh. But we’re not done yet with our complaints..
