I have known Dr. Ellie Izzo for over thirty years. Both my wife and I have built a strong marriage thanks to her input and wisdom. She always pushed us to look at our issues and didnt let us avoid them. She is gifted!carin

I am an adult now, but saw her when I was a teenager a couple of times. I had to move back in with my narcissistic and abusive father at the time and he chose Ellie Izzo so that we could have a weird little setting things straight session.Anyway, one thing I remember Ellie saying is that even if I had a toxic relationship with my father, it was still better to have a relationship with my father than not. I have told this to other therapists in the field and they were shocked at that. I am almost thirty now and have gone No Contact with my father and been supported by mental health professionals who understand the narcissistic abuse my father has put me through.I do not recommend Ellie Izzo as a therapist. She did not recognize the abuse that my father was putting me through and this lead to continued abuse for me growing up. I personally think that her license should be taken away.
