Worst customer service ever and good luck trying to get your money back for anything because of Company Policy. Too many times have I had issues with Godaddy and they always wash their hands with Microsoft problems, Server issues, or anyone else but themselves. They watch their domain searches and if you take too long to purchase a domain that you searched for, they will purchase it and try to sell it back to you at a much higher rate (Not sure if that is even legal). If you are lucky enough to get a refund, guess what... it goes as a credit into your account. They will not refund it back to you personally. If you make a mistake or forget to pay for web hosting... you are in for a treat. You will have to pay additional fees because the hosted web server was deleted and they have to recover it from the archives. The last straw was when I purchased a product back in June 2020 for a FULL YEAR of service and I disabled it temporarily because it was not used any longer (it was an email). Once I re-enabled the product, the product had changed and they said they would not be able to give me the original licenses it came with originally because of Company Policy (I have 3 more months left on it as of right now). I asked the rep to refund me then the remaining months since the product had changed and that I did not agree with their Company Policy. Customer service representative straight up told me (paraphrased) Nope, I dont have to do that and it looks like our call has concluded since it looks like there are no other issues I can assist you with. For years I tried to look the other way but they abuse their power and is by far one of the worst if not the worst company I have dealt with.Do yourself a favor, buy directly from the source and not the middleman.Just take a look at the screenshot.
GoDaddy has the worst customer service and I would not recommend doing business with them in any capacity. I paid them to make a few changes to my website such as adding or removing verbiage on some of the pages and they could not perform these simple tasks. The worst demonstration of their difficulty with following instructions was when I asked them to remove some text from my Blog page and instead they added information about slot machines and gambling. Bear in mind that we provide trading educational services so any mention of gambling is in direct contrast to the services we provide. After waiting a week for a service that was supposed to be completed in three days, I was able to speak to a supervisor named Ken Ballangi and he was adamant about not refunding me my money. GoDaddys refund policy states that you are eligible for a refund within thirty days as long as the work has not been done. They did not do any of the work that I asked them to and they still refused to give me the refund.
They don’t respect customers at all, I called several time, sent several emails and they reply back with fixed format email of no meaning, I tried to call local customer service in Emirates several times, they are useless and doing nothing, I will move out of this bad company after 10 years, I find a lot of options, more respectable, headache free and lower cost. Go Daddy for good.
I want to let everyone know how bad Godaddy has become. Ive been with them for over 15 years and never had a problem and the customer service was usually good.I wasted the last two days because the admin panels on my sites wont load. When I call the basically tell me to go pound sand.Im gonna spend the next month leaving GoDudley.Dont use GD they S t i n k.
Have been with this Company for fifteen years with domain hosting. Recently sought after doing more business with them by purchasing additional products. When I attempted to use a new credit card for this purchase they refused to accept it although there is the procedure for adding a new credit card to your account. They demanded I send a picture of my drivers license, my account number and the last four digits of my credit card. After reluctantly doing so under protest they then came back with even more unreasonable demands. Additional calls to customer service individuals did not result in any resolution. The new credit card in question has been with me for 15 years also but had not been active for the past five. I have used this card with many other merchants without any issues. Why the issue with this company? This is just plain harassment and extremely poor customer service without justification. They are forcing a good customer to look elsewhere for doing business! I can now see why there are so many poor reviews for this company! Even tried to reach out to them again to purchase services and they still would not accept my credit card. Five calls to customer service and still no resolution. On to another company that knows how to treat customers.
The worst customer service I have ever received from GoDaddy.I called today, Friday, January 22, 2021 and talked to customer service representative to talk about my refund from an auto-renewal which I did not set/remove.First I called GoDaddy to tell them about it. They were very nice and helpful to oblige and then I check my bank and they normally honor your request but the bank asked me to contact GoDaddy and coordinate with them so that they inform the bank about me cancellation of two auto-renewal transactions which I reversed through my bank.I check my email and noticed that GoDaddy has only sent me refund for one transactions, not two. So, I called GoDaddy back.I talked to a new customer service rep., naturally, and talked to a Jericho guy in Manila, Philippines. He tried and tried and had me on the phone for half an hour or more. At first, he claimed that the previous rep did not push the button so the refund request had not gone through. I said ok and waited for him to simply push the mystery button so Id be done. No so fast. After about 10 minutes, I asked him about where we at in the process and said that he is going to give it try and after that he is going to transfer me to a supervisor if his attempts are not effective.Another 15 minutes go by and I am still on the phone with this Jericho guy and nothing. I asked him to transfer me to his supervisor and that I was not upset with him but he was reluctant to transfer me that all supervisors are busy and he could not transfer me! What?!I said that would you guys call me back when you are done and complete the refund so I can hang up and go back to take care of my own errands? No, he said. So, I asked him, you cant complete the refund transaction, your system is malfunctioning (according to Jericho), you cant, or refuse to, connect me to your supervisor, by now you can imagine that Im frustrated, so, what are you going to do? I finished asking him. He said that hes doing what he can and that I have to wait for the system to function properly again! I asked him to give me his employee number so when I talk to GoDaddy Management I can tell them who I talked to and he refused. He said that hes now allowed to give me his employee number! I said that I dont know how the business law works in Manila but in the U.S. employee numbers are designed for that so that an employee does not have to give out his or her own last name for employee privacy matter but he did not give me his employee number anyway.Jericho had the audacity to tell me that it shows that the bank had just credited my account so why I needed my refund receipt? Wow, just wow!I replied that for the same reason I received the first refund receipt, in the first place. The rudeness of this guy. I retorted that banks reverse some transactions but want you to contact the retailer so there will be no discrepancies between the claim of customers and the retailers. That is why GoDaddy issued my firs refund receipt, an hour prior to our conversation.Here is my MILLION DOLLAR QUESTION for GoDaddy:Why is it that GoDaddy never has any system malfunction when they charge customers and collect the money for domains they sell but when they need to refund customers money, customers have to go through hell? Why do I get only one refund when I called for both transactions during the same call? The first customer rep was very nice and cooperative but did he fail to inform me that system went down right after issuing the first refund?I am very frustrated and unhappy and I have been a customer for a number of years. STOP! False advertisement and poor customer service. Please do not do business with GD you will not be happy. They do not meet customers expectations or even come close. I was left on hold for hours at a time after calling about my website not being published. It was advertise as being free which was a COMPLETE LIE. I had paid for it first and only called after it was working and had also purchased my domain name at the time, so dont be fooled by free website, FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!! anyway I had spoken to several representative who assured me it would be fixed within 24hrs. I called back the next day it still wasnt up and running. I asked to have my money refunded after all the difficulties, I was told to cancel the product they did not take into consideration all the issues I faced and how long Ive been on hold after I sent screen shot of being on hold for hours. This is the worst company ever! I paid to have a new website designed and was made to believe that I would have a designer that I would be able to contact to build my new site. My so called designer had no way to contact him except email that he wouldnt even respond to. I asked the representative if I could get his my designers extension, and he said they don have a phone line or a voicemail. I canceled my order and Godaddy refused to give me a full refund even though they didnt do anything at all for me. Now I have to dispute the $350 that they are trying to steal from me for doing nothing whatsoever. Avoid this company like the plague.

Short and sweet, Godaddy is to the non technical public, what Don King was to Mike Tyson. Godaddy prices and upsell tactics are a complete rip off to the general public. How many accounts have several services they dont even need and paying for them monthly and not even knowing it!
GoDaddy lies about the services. Getting help takes forever. The site is confusing to use for even experienced site builders. Added cost come up after the sale for security and privacy that should be part of the initial purchase. Tech support has a tone when dealing about the questions of the site builder. Pop ups during the build make it even worse. The optimizer is so confusing that it makes no sense at all. I would cancel if I could. Many times I received messages of the site going off line and no one there can explain that to me. They stop the message so now I dont even know when it on line or not. It seems to be a scam and not a good web site for companies.
Worst customer service I’ve ever seen. GoDaddy agreed to issue me a refund. I asked them to not refund it to my old credit card that I had since cancelled, but of course they did. The rep said not to worry, given that credit card company would figure it out and eventually issue me the check. That never happened.I called GoDaddy several times trying to resolve this and get my money back. I was passed around to about 10 different people and spend at least a dozen hours on the phone total. In the end that said it was my problem and I had to try to get my money back from Discover. I spent about 4 hours on hold with Discover and never got through to them. GoDaddy just repeatedly defaults to “that’s our policy” and they genuinely do not care at all about their customers. I strongly recommend that you do not use this company. Its funny how they always boast about their great customer service where in reality it’s the worst I’ve ever seen.
Beware! Find a different place to host you’re website!I bought a domain for around 14 dollars a few years back and built my business around it. I ended up losing the domain during the COVID pandemic due to change of payment information, but what they did after is messed up in so many ways. They had an affiliate company (huge domains) buy my domain as soon as it was up for grabs and now want to sell it back for 3500. Since Huge Domains is registered under another entity or some legal bs they are allowed to do it.Stay away from this company. I have been financially hurt and they have wasted years of my life from this scheme that they have going.
Won a domain at auction, but they charged me more on the phone than what i saw online. Wasted a ton of time calling in and had to pay more. Would not recommend this registrar when there are so many other amazing ones like epik.com and dynadot.com.Its a small difference, but their shady practices have cost me much more than pennies in the past, despite being a customer with hundreds of domains with them for years.
Terrible! I am terribly disappointed in my decision to go with GO Daddy. After multiple requests to address my concerns that were unresolved. I decided to request a refund for services. They declined sighting there REFUND policy! Good luck finding it. Save your $ and find a reputable local company to work with. At least if they lie to you it will be to your face. Now I know what its like to be ROBBED.

GoDaddy restricted our freedom of expression by suspending our whole website based on a false copyright claim related to a portrait photo. They have also seized all the website files, and they dont give our files back. Never buy hosting from them!
Incompetent and damaging to my business.Monday: All emails to my company stopped; customers got messages stating that address could not be found . GoDaddy online chat rep told me the MX records for my company were wrong-- after about 40 minutes chatting with him he assured me that it was fixed, but that it could take up to 48 hours to resolve.Everyday, Ive anxiously been checking to see if my company email is working yet, but no.Thursday: I telephoned GoDaddy and was informed that what I had been told on Monday night was not true -- that actually my company email service had been canceled because GoDaddy dont want to support POP email anymore (not profitable) but the guy offered to sell me Office365 service (a Microsoft service, apparently GoDaddy just does the sales) for three years.All emails to my company are apparently permanently lost now for at least three days so far!We had purchased a 5yr plan with GoDaddy under the agreement that they would provide services that they have now cancelled. I asked why they didnt call me - was told that they couldnt call everyone because there are too many (thousands he said) people/companies that they are doing this to.-
Terrible company. Cancelled my non-profit subscription a year and a half into a 5 year renewal and they wouldnt provide a pro-rated refund. Also their technology is out of date and not user friendly. Happy to be done with Godaddy.

Their tv commercials and sponsorships are meant to attract unsuspecting new customers who will see how much of a rip off Go daddy is promptly. Don’t get caught in the Go daddy trap, their customer service is a joke and with no live chat option, expect to spend hours on hold if you phone.There are much better hosting options available today, I suggest you check out Namecheap and Siteground before giving your hard earned money to go daddy. Hey GoDaddy. putting the transfer authorization codes from your emails into HTML links so that users cant copy and paste the codes on mobile devices is the pettiest and most juvenile thing Ive seen you do so far.Im already leaving GoDaddy and taking a large corporate account with me because you screwed over my wife and refused to help fix it.This just seals the deal, and earns you as much negative recommendation as i can offer anyone who will listen.
GoDaddy (GD) recently changed their approach to customer tech issues. Despite the new attractive ad, they now have the worst of both: customer service and tech support. As a 6 yr customer theyre all but losing my future business. If you call GD and Kelsey or Shaquille answer, immediately hang up and call back. Despite the wait you may save a lot of time/trouble.
If I can give zero star, I would definitely give it. I hosted more than 20 websites on GoDaddy servers and one day, all went off, I contacted support, and guess what, they dont know whats going on, my main customer stopped trusting me and till now I have problems due to this. After a week, they said it is their firewall who blocked the outgoing flow. Ofcourse, at the end they blocked the domain transfer for some days just to make me more angry.No more mistakes, do not host your websites here.
I bought Office 365 for my website. It cost $380. They were fast to take the credit card # but left without setting it up. Said it will take a while to validate. After several hours, I called again and Todd told me that it must be a problem with Microsoft or with my computer which is a 3 GHz 10-Core Intel Xeon W 64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4 Radeon Pro Vega 56 8 GB. I asked for the problem to be escalated and he said that when they escalate a problem it comes to him. I cancelled the service. I have been moving away from GoDaddy. I look forward to leaving them altogether.

No a good long term business partner.I have been with GoDaddy for twenty years, and at one time I owned 45 domain. Each year they get more expensive, and offer less for the higher price.They send a ton of spam mixed with message that they are going to kill specific services you grow to rely on.Once you setup these kinds of services its hard to leave.
Trying to get help with adding FedEx as a shopper for my online store, so I go an get help with their online customer service. They just said its a 358 mins wait, yes you heard me right.

I used GoDaddy for 10+ years. I would not recommend GoDaddy to anyone. I had performance issues, the tools are inadequate, troubleshooting is very difficult and clunky. Their email is awful. Ive switched to a major cloud hosting company which costs less than GoDaddy. Im so relieved to be off GoDaddy. The support people are very pleasant which is why I added a star to what would normally be a one star review.
I purchased their web hosting service. The service was terribly bad. My site was loaded very slowly. I contacted them and they suggested me to buy a more expensive service. I did but nothing changed. I have the same content on another host bought from another company for $5/month while I pay Godaddy $16/m. The performance of the $5 hosting is much better than Godaddy 16 dollar per month. Not recommended at all.
Just try add some google analytics headers, or anything allowing you to monetize anything. they rob you of all control over your own income. Screwing one small business over one at a time. No 1-800 help, no email support, and chances ever getting help for anything is almost zero

The worst hosting company ever.There is no technical trained staff.They are not professional at all.If you have an issue there is no cases created and everyday you have to explain what is your issue to someone to track your issues and every agent has different opinion .Hosting with them means waste of time and money.Not recommended at all.
Asked for domain 1 to be merged with domain 2, so domain 1 became the hyperlink for the homepage for domain 2, keeping both pages intact but eliminating the need for an extra domain.They deleted all content from domain 1 and forced the link to redirect to domain 2. I lost everything and now have to rebuild the site from scratch.Changed away from GoDaddy within an hour WHILE TALKING WITH CUSTOMER SERVICE. I told them that with every mistake they made, I would take the next step in a domain transfer. They didnt really seem interested.Never again.
They WITHOUT WARNING erased my entire Wordpress website, which I put my blood sweat and tears into creating, when I temporarily stopped paying for hosting... and I can never get it back. That’s just messed up. You think you could at least send a courtesy email to warn me?

Refused refund of unused services after they did not provide adequate service in the first place.I prepaid for 5 years of hosting. After about 6 months, my website was going down all the time. They would not correct it. They typically blamed my website for this. I moved hosting to a reliable hosting company.I requested cancellation and a refund of my unused (prepaid) services. They refused to refund. They only refund prepaid within 30 days of commencement of services. The terms they sent me in the refund discussion were not disclosed at time of purchase and I noticed they are less than one year old.Essentially, they ripped me off, planned to rip me off by not providing reliable service to begin with and have since implemented a theft policy applicable to all customers.

Decent service. The people are knowledgeable. When service renews the site goes down and have to call to fix. Even though I am set up on auto renews? Confused. It does the basic job and easy to start.
Been a godaddy customer for 10+ years.... I’ve had the online file storage account for over five years. About a month ago I was logged into the account with no problems. I attempted to log into the account a couple of weeks ago and unable to do so. Opened support ticket and it was closed without resolution. In the portal is showed 30G of 100G used. I opened another ticket and the SUPPORT REP deleted all the files while troubleshooting. After hours and hours and hours it was determined that they were unable to restore the files. This means that your files are not properly backed up. When I asked for a refund I was told “we have a no refund policy”
I am in the process of creating a new website, and had a ton of questions about setting up the domain, which package to purchase, etc. I called the support line and Daniel answered the phone. He talked to me for a long time, and answered all of my questions. Honestly, this was one of the best experiences Ive ever had from a support center. I feel confident about setting the rest of the site up now, and couldnt have asked for a better support person. So, thanks Daniel for the amazing help. I appreciate it greatly. And although I have not been using Go Daddy long, I would definitely recommend it. So far it seems user-friendly, the customer support is wonderful, and I felt that it was better than a lot of the other sites I looked into.
After a couple of decades of loyalty to GoDaddy and recommending them to our clients, they have gone from being an A+ in customer service to a D. If that wasn’t enough, their prices have increased to almost the point of price gouging and the automatic renewal policy is deplorable. Fifteen years ago, when I made a mistake and noticed it a couple of months later, they refunded my purchase with no hassle. They didn’t have to do that but it was consistent with their customer service. Today they auto-renewed my domains for five years when I’ve only renewed then for one year in the past. I spoke with Daniel, the customer service manager, and was informed that there was nothing that could be done as it was their policy to auto-renew them for that term which unfortunately is consistent with their lack of customer service. I don’t see how they keep their customers as Google Domains include privacy and are less than half the cost at $12 a year and Amazon is less than $9 a year. I will be moving my products to other venders and suggest that others do the same unless you like paying more and receiving less.
Quite possibly the worst customer service in the corporate world. Like our U.S. politicians, they are all talk about customers being number one but all their actions lead to the conclusion that the only thing they care about it money and their stock price. 15 calls to try to resolve an issue and it went nowhere. Completely incompetent people. Stay away, use Wix or someone else.
Just the absolute worst. Unable to get into my account and they directed me to sending copies of my personal information to a random website that has no relation to godaddy. These people tried to scam me to steal my identity. I remember hearing good things about godaddy. But now I remember that was 8 years ago and since, I dont know anyone who uses them because of this malicious behavior. To godaddy: fire everyone and start over.

Awful. Terrible customer service & even worse for security. A previously trusted staff member was able to lock me out of my site. I sent all documentation proving my ownership. I am still locked out of my site. Go daddy will not help or even provide information on what I can do or send to provide what they need. They Simply informed me to contact a lawyer. So now I have to pay lawyer fees to reverse this. Cheaper to start a new site & optimize from scratch. Go elsewhere with your money. I’d prefer to give a negative 5 star rating.
A person is all over the place with this service. Products are not all inclusive. Therefore, the person is forever needing more services and GoDaddys never ending products and services. GoDaddys takes ownership of an individuals created Domain names and charges them to use their own creations with no return on investment. GoDaddys pricing are outrageous and recurring before time has expired. GoDaddys customer service focus is selling not assisting their customers with positive outcomes in the use of products purchased unless thousands of dollars have been invested.
I used to love them but they have gone downhill over the last 10+ Years. Was lied to about a hosting plan by a salesperson that called me to discuss my needs. They used to be helpful in calling but now they are just trying to sell. Most of the customer service and tech people are helpful when you call in with a problem. That’s why it’s 2 stars instead of 1. I’m pretty upset that I was sold a hosting plan that was supposed to not be active/counting down to expiration date until I started using it. Turned out I was lied to and the plan expired before I ever touched it. A couple hundred bucks down the toilet. Since godaddy couldn’t refund my money or replace my hosting account which I never used, I’m just spreading the word about what happened. Buyer beware! Some of their sales people are either uninformed or flat out liars.
I have used them for 9 years for help in my small business. They have unbelievable tech help that can explain what I need and why without the hard sell which turns me off.
I have been using GoDaddy Australia for about 3 years and I am a big fan. Great products, management tools and the best customer support I have ever experienced. This is one of the few companies that dont seem to outsource their customer support and it really shows. Highly recommended.
I have had to call Go Daddy several times to resolve an issue with Office Premium, and every time the person has been rude and condescending when talking to me. If there was another place to purchase the product, I would definitely do it and no longer use Go Daddy. They seem to know little or nothing about the product Ive purchased from them and act disinterested and impatient in trying to solve the problems Im experiencing with their product. I definitely dont like being talked down to, and this attitude toward customers has been consistent each time Ive called!

One of the worst customer service experiences. Their agent have no idea whats going on. Over 1.5 hrs with no solution. They stole MY CONTENT, MY INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, and now they want me to pay to get it back. Big scam, never use them.
Im going to provide some much needed perspective. In my opinion, this is the worst hosting site & a perfect example of what happens when a business gets to be too successful ~ they forget about their customers. GoDaddy is money first, customer satisfaction second. I was given false information by a GoDaddy employee that led me to buy two extended contracts for both hosting & domain. A GoDaddy supervisor (Mark) refused to honor his employees promise, but instead, he chose to act in a very unprofessional manner. As a loyal customer of approx. 10 or more years, I am resolved to never give another cent to GoDaddy & I would implore anyone reading this to find another hosting company in order to avoid getting ripped off like I did. GoDaddy is not interested in solving customer problems. They only care about separating you from your money. They have demonstrated that they do not care about their customers. Dont let what happened to me, happen to you.
This company horrible!!! i renewed my domains and did it wrongly for twice and ask refund for second wrong one did. They refused. Agent told me to call my bank to cancel second wrong one and i did it. Then they close my all domains. But still they charged for first one. i Ask them to open my domains however they charged me for first renewal process. They said i have pay the one i canceled +$50 (a refund fee) to open my domains again! Yes this company is a thief!!!
Ive been a Godaddy customer for nearly 14 years and Godaddy gave me a virtual slap in the face. I was told by a Godaddy Rep Godaddy is running a business and dismissed after I requested a credit. Ive spent THOUSANDS of dollars with Godaddy. At one point I had nearly 300 domain names registered. This companys prices are high AND you will get SCREWED on renewals. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GODADDY TO ANYONE.
In March of 2016 I hired GoDaddy to create a business website for me. Two days later I changed my mind because of the bad things I was hearing so I called them and had no problem canceling but they continue to charge my business account. Ive called several times to get the issue resolved with no luck. They give me one excuse after another! I even went so far as to cancel my business credit card and get a new one so they could no longer charge me. This month (August 2016) I was going over my personal credit card statement and somehow they are now charging this account. How they got my personal account I have no idea because I DID NOT give them any of that information. Needless to say I am STEAMED about it. This company will go to extremes to get your money!. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!
Absolutely hopeless tech support. Tier 1 tech support is effectively a sales team and took 20 calls to fix a problem they created
We hired GoDaddy to build a website for our business! This was the worst decision we ever made. They charged us over $4,000 and failed to make our website. Once they had a poor excuse of a draft prepared, they wouldn’t make modifications as we requested. GoDaddy doesn’t support their customers and one of the representatives said he believed we were entitled to a refund because our experience was so horrible. But, that was out of his control. Contact a local web design company and support your local businesses. Avoid GoDaddy at all cost!
On 12/19/2018 I ordered a domain name from Go Daddy from Web Site. I copied and pasted the name I wanted from the face book page I already have His Church are his People. I reviewed the email I received from Go Daddy and it had an S at the end people. since I copied and pasted I am not sure how that would happen but it was late so I made a note to call the next day. I called and spoke to Grant and he corrected the mistake and then proceeded to sell me on a web hosting. The service I had been looking at had free web site builder and unlimited email and 50 gigs of space and unlimited bandwidth. Grant assured me Go Daddy would match that and for a dollar a month cheaper. He said if I did not like it I could cancel within 5 business days. He told me the builder was powerful and was just drag and drop. well I bought it and paid for a year. I went to my site to work on it and I found the website builder was not user friendly at all, and the first month was free then so much a month after that. Then I found out the free email was only through office 360 and if I wanted just email through the site again a monthly fee. well I called back and after a hour and 7 min asking for a supervisor I spoke to Skylar who said he was a sup. They all just kept trying to sell me stuff including Skylar. All I wanted was a refund and to cancel my service with them. What I got was an email to cancel when it comes up for renewal. So I called the corporate office thinking I might find some who cared and operator kept transferring me billing. Finally I spoke to Nick, I got a refund but he now tells me domain name wound be 14.99 when it was only 1.99 to start and I said no I will get somewhere else. Well I found out the domain name will not be release for 100 days. I want my domain name back.Someone from the headquarters called me finally and they did give me am my domain name for free so they did try to make it right.
They hire thugs that attack police officers! And they use sex to sell there terrible service. If your gonna have shameless advertising at least be good at the services you offer!
GoDaddy is awesome! Great to get your feet wet and start your business. The customer service is knowledgeable, kind, and patience. They have products that fit every aspect of your online business.
This is the worst hosting company I have ever used. They actually send you an auto email to support at their domain saying they no longer provide support by email. Their phone support is disastrous. They are bad, bad, bad.
Not a fan of their hosting at all. Wish I could find a better provider or services. Every time I get a different person and they don’t understand my needs.
We are leaving Godaddy after 5 years, they literally refused to refund $1,000 they owed us. We are also going to sue them in small claims court. We are an active client, with a big account and previously referred many of our students to GoDaddy. They lost a valuable client. What a shame.
This HQ is gigantic and from what I got to see, fully loaded with food, snacks, and games for the employees! Thats always cool to see, a big company taking care of its employees

My clients website was having problems when clicking on their website, there was a 1 to 2 second error making it appear that their site was down. If a visitor wasnt patient, they would have left my clients site. After about two months of this, I contacted Godaddy. They said their technical support team was trying to fix this. I explained that we should receive a credit because this has been a problem for some time. They basically said too bad.
2:36 time to go through all the prompts just to reach technical support for Office 365 products. That is the time just to reach the department, not the hold time. Perhaps, if their system stated the departments rather than very long phrases we could reach the correct service department sooner. Additionally, once I finally reached the right prompt and was in cue, the system doesnt state that at first. Instead, its another 20 second long sales pitch about something or another. I didnt finish listening to that part, because I pressed # to make sure I was at the right place.
Don’t use godaddy they just want your money and won’t help you at all. Unresponsive until you bid at a higher price. Such a scam
The domains listed for auction do not update the number of visitors.In a page provided and hosted by them.Why buy an existing domain if you dont know how many visitors it has?Came on GoDaddy, get it right!
Greatest Company for hosting. I have hosted with them for over 10 years now.100% recommend them to all ! !The new support system is 10X better then just writing an email. Speaking to live people always works best.
Reps repeatedly have given false information to upsell length of terms for various products. They have told me that you can renew for 2 or 3 years and if you need to cancel during that time, you will be given a pro-rated refund. Upon cancellation, I was told the refund is only given if you cancel within the first 30 days. Also, my web-site was hacked twice, even after buying additional protection from GoDaddy. Our new provider has not had any problems and they are 1/2 the price.
Worst email provider, oh and entering scam mode due to lack of funds. When you call customer service usually they say nothing wrong on their end then advise you to call whom every else you work with. It’s very hard to find a representative that will actually look into the back end of things or put you in contact with someone at the company that can actually help you. A few flaws that they actually told me they were not working to fix: email forwarding but you cannot connect more than one of your go daddy email addresses together (like every other provider), they can not locate malware efficiently, took them 1 week to find a simple problem with the html, they do not send calls/texts/emails or any other form of contact to even attempt to tell you when there is a problem on their end. They just wait for you to notice. Then usually it takes a week for them to actually get to the bottom of.Also heard they are currently scamming people by maxing our their space then telling them they need to upgrade at a cost to keep it running properly (when actually you can just go in and delete old content)
They kept charging my papal for products I never used. They admit it but never refunded all money for 12 months. Very unprofessional tech support. They trying to upsell instead of helping to solve an issue. They claimed my site was hacked but I went through several third party security checks and they confirmed that godaddy had an issues with their service.
Go daddy SEO services is a total scam . I have called in and canceled my service the 2nd day, spoke with a manager and said i will get my refund in few days, a week later no emails and they apparently working on the website. They are the worst ....never pay upfront for their seo service. they are horrible !!!!!
Cancelled the service a year ago and got charged a renewal on my credit card. Once got the credit card statement and called to dispute was already 30 days from the charge. Supervisor Colton was not interested in refunding because of the 30 day cancellation policy. Go Daddy was not interested in resolving the issue and did not even apologize for their error. Had to dispute with the credit card company. I will not use their services in future and will discourage others!

I’m a victim of bank card fraud perpetrated by a godaddy employee. I’ve been trying all day to get in touch via phone and chat. I’m currently waiting for an affidavit from my bank to proceed with filing with police department so they can investigate. Thankfully, I do my banking with a secure bank and they caught this before coasting me big time. BEWARE!!!

They would make simple mistakes such as phone number and then have us wait for 5 business days to fix, finally I said its enough and requested a refund but they refuse because its outside of the 30 days. They STOLE my money. a $2 billion company praying on small business.

Ive tried with GoDaddy off and on for years. Their service is subpar, the products are no better than any other provider. And after they decided to auto-renew without my permission Im done with them forever.Ultimately, I will never recommend this company to anyone ever. They auto-renew without your permission (even when you turn auto-renew off).Access to your indepth products is a major pain. Website design is blah but expect to get tons of calls throughout the year to 3rd party offers.Anything important will come through from the same email that Spams you with twenty emails a week so dont be surprised if you dont get it and have to request something as simple as a password reset 5 times.Theres far better alternatives. With real customer service. No matter how big they are now, theyre just as shady and unimpressive as they were when I first used them a decade ago.
GoDaddy is really the worse hosting service possible. DO NOT HOST with them, they do not care about their clients all they care about is getting your money! Have been a client for 4 years went to renew my vps and at checkout stated it was only $6.08 paid it and receive receipt stating what I was getting and now they say that was only a partial month and I owe $75 more for the month! SERIOUSLY you can find a better hosting service than GoDaddy!
I have been a web developer since 1996, and there is no company worse than GoDaddy when it comes to hosting. Absolutely horrifically bad customer service, and their servers are absolute garbage. You can do much better with just about any other hosting company.
These suckers suck your money if you dont keep an eye on your account. Upon signing up, you get all kinds of stuff for what seem dirt cheap... be careful if you dont keep an eye on your account because the price can shoot up 80% or more.
I turned off privacy, auto renew, etc. But domains continue to renew automatically, and I got billed again for privacy. Headed elsewhere for domain registry. This company is now too big for itself, my guess is that in order to sustain growth and volume they are auto sticking it to customers.
Basically charged my credit card for 200 AED with no confirmation email and when i contacted the support about reason for charge they told me to call the us number. and the us number will take hours to answers. just going to close my account with them and never use godaddy again!!!
This service is everything that you need. I am in the map section in most queries in my city, the SEO assisant is awesome. I have had numerous comments on my site I built thru GoDaddy, it is fun and easy to add my content. I love it! Happy New Year to all at GoDaddy!
I just got helped by a guy named Andrew, that was far and away THE BEST telephone service I have ever had with any company... EVER! So incredibly patient and helpful, this is why I use godaddy. You guys rock!!
Do not register domains with them. They will not allow you to transfer it out later.
