I almost let the 1 bad review keep me from going to Scratch Exchange, but better sense prevailed. Yes, since COVID happened - hes the only game in town. He is located right by the Scottsdale Airpark in a clean, safe building. I called him up and had an appointment within half an hour - it is by appointment only right now. I had less than a hundred bucks American value in Euros and Sterling Pound - he was fast, friendly and fair. The exchange rate was about what I expected - same youd pay at the airport or better as another reviewer mentioned. Dont hesitate to give Mark a chance.

I had some British Pounds and Canadian dollars to exchange but everything for miles is closed due to Covid-19. Scratch Exchange to the rescue! Mark was professional and able to help.We made an appt over the phone and were able to complete our transaction. I think people expect an even exchange rate like they see online, but considering our situation and the amount of money I think the transaction was fair and comparable to the airport (or better). I will definitely think of him when I need to exchange money again. Thanks, Mark!

I had a bunch of left over Euros after my trip to France. I called to make an appointment and Mark was very helpful and let me know how much he would be able to pay for my Euros right away. I’ll definitely be back if I have to dump extra currency in the future.

Well, after driving all over the City of Phoenix, nearly running out of gas, trying to exchange my foreign currency this is the 3rd place I went to the first 2 didnt even exist! Let me just say Marc was an absolute blessing! I couldnt have asked for a better experience. I will continue to go here for life and I will refer all of my friends and family here as well. Thanks Marc for the fastest and smoothest transaction ever! I mean it was literally 5 minutes and I was out the door with cash in hand. This is the best and only currency exchange for me!

This place is perfect if you need quick scratch for your foreign currency. Mark makes it quick and painkess dollar for dollar you cant beat the experience.

I just called them to check on exchange rates from euros to USD and it was 0% while the national rate is at 14%! I understand that they need to make money but thats robbing people! After I hanged up this guy called me TWICE to make it sound like everything was ok and to convince me that the interaction wasnt terrible. Just a terrible place for exchanging, especially for people who dont follow exchange rates very much. I hope they go out of business soon.
