Little about me if how I ended up with owning 4 timeshares. It all started with two. Got tricked on the third one in Mexico. They said they would trade in one of my timeshares with a better deal from them. Turn out I was adding another timeshare instead. I ended up with Grandview, Diamond resorts, and Cabo. The fourth was turning point my life happened about two years ago. Diamond suggested a better deal. They said they would trade in all three with again a better deal from them. I can’t say enough good things about Vacation Ownership Consultants- they are AMAZING. They truly helped us get out of a terrible financial decision we made with even more terrible repercussions. When buying a timeshare they do a darn good job at selling and make it seem like you won’t get a great offer/deal unless you buy it then and there. They do this as a tactic because if you actually researched anything and had time to THINK about committing to such a huge investment...you probably wouldn’t buy the timeshare. We couldn’t even use it because the timeframe and dates we were promised were already booked until one year ahead! The RCI option was the same issue, the locations we were told we could visit were available...but only if we upgraded to a different level of membership. We weren’t told how the mai thence fees would go up, and on and on. We paid a portion upfront thinking it would be best that way so we could lower the overall amount, but in the end we were out all that money.Vacation Ownership Consultants were honest with us upfront from the get go and told us they could help us legally break the contract with the timeshare (Bluegreen Vacations) to prevent future payments and main fence fees and help write a letter to all three major credit bureaus if our credit were to take a hit, but that they couldn’t help recuperate any money we had already invested. Mind you, we did research before calling them and they were 1) the best deal since other companies wanted to charge us over $6k and 2) the other companies told us the same thing when it came to not being able to recuperate any money already paid to the timeshare, that they could only help us break the contract legally so we wouldn’t have to pay anymore money in the FUTURE so we already anticipated that prior to calling them and 3) they walk you through the WHOLE process.In the end, we are finally free and out of our contract! AND our credit didn’t take a hit due to the timeliness of everything (the process did take about a year, which they tell you upfront, but they also stay in touch with the credit bureaus in the meantime).I would DEFINITELY recommend Vacation Ownership Consultants. We paid a little over $2k for everything (take in mind they have to pay their legal dept fees and paperwork) which is a reasonable prices considering other companies wanted to charge us close to $6k. I know it sounds a lot, but keep in mind the BIGGER PICTURE- you will be out of your contract, legally, and will no longer owe future payments of any kind to the timeshare company.Worth it!

VOC was fantastic! They seamlessly helped my mom get released from two expensive timeshare contracts that she got duped into signing. VOC provided clear instructions and expectations as well as regular updates. The best was when Wendy personally called to give us the news that the contracts had been terminated! VOC did it!!! They were able to relieve us from the timeshare. All was completed in an exceptionally professional manner. I was hesitant at first for we tried a couple times with other companies that promised to get us out of the timeshare. Getting out of a timeshare is not easy, fast or cheap. The cost more than paid for itself if you calculate what a timeshare costs very year. It took time, but nothing worthwhile is easy or fast. VOC is a company you can trust to get out of your vacation time-share. We had our paid-in-full vacation ownership for twenty years but our daughter did not want to inherit it. The company told us we had to purchase more shares and use those points to cover the annual fees because inheriting it was not an option. Instead, we put our trust in VOC.We signed the papers and paid VOC’s reasonable fee. That was the end of any contact with our vacation ownership company. We did not receive any bills for fees or threatening letters. I believe that is because our ownership company respected VOC’s success. Where do I start? From day 1, Kyle was our great informative representative that helped us better understand where we are currently to where we will be between 6 months to a year. He did not pressure us into working with this company. He only provided insight on what the company does and their success rate. Wendy is the financial representative that we worked with throughout the process. She was very helpful and understanding throughout the processs. Her team and she was very patient every time we called about an update on our case. They did not make me feel like I bothered them too much.
