After 15 years of coming here, I have had my hair cut in every chair many times over and have yet to leave with anything less than a great cut and welcoming smiles. Best barber shop FADE in PHX!

This place is good if you get the right barber. Ive had three haircuts here, nothing fancy, and gotten varying results. First two times left satisfied - after today, probably wont be back. Left my haircut with a patch of hair in the back of my head that is noticeably shorter than the surrounding area, and a very choppy looking fade in the back in general. Alex also did not remove any of the loose hair from my head so I spent several minutes in the parking lot trying to get it out so I didnt shed all over my car. Sorry to say it but Ive given myself quarantine haircuts better than this.

I just moved to the Scottsdale area from California, and heard that Scottsdale barber shop was the place to go. Busy shop, got a haircut from Alex who’s been in the game for a while. Very professional and one of the best cuts I’ve gotten. This is definitely my shop now, thanks to the guys and Alex for taking care of me!

Best hair cut in the state! Started going over 20 years ago and they are my first stop when I come into town!

Haircut was pretty decent and the price was not bad. It is cash only but they have an ATM on site. I didnt have my debit card on me and had to run to get cash from a contactless ATM from my bank and noticed that the barber messed up my sideburns. Upon returning with the cash I asked them to fix it. I dont return if they mess up the sideburns like that...

Everyone here seems to be great. Generally I request Mike if hes available, but I guess I just have a soft spot for him.Ive been to the Scottsdale Barbershop for every haircut for nearly 3 years now and Its always been a good, consistent haircut.Thanks!

A last minute decision to get the hair cut.... My wife had been nagging me for days, however I didnt want a cookie cutter haircut again... So we called and they said they are open... Easy in, Israel sat me down, listened and gave me one of the best haircuts I have EVER had... I mean ever... The cut was perfect, strait edge trim on the neck and hair line.... Just fun to sit in his seat it was an honor... Cash only made it easy.... Just phenomenal

For a $20 haircut, it’s what you expect; BELOW average! Go to a place that doesn’t always have space for walk in appointments, it’s like that for a reason!! Hard to communicate with, below average quality, ruined my hairstyle. For a city like Scottsdale, I expected much better quality and service. Will NEVER return. Try a different shop and schedule an appointment ahead of time.

The barber did an okay job. I didnt get the hair style I wanted, but it was still a great haircut despite it not turning out exactly the way I wanted.

Convenient, quick, and skilled.

Went in for a simple haircut. Basically take my current cut and shorten it. Should have known it wasn’t going to turn out well when he started asking strange questions about how I style and comb my hair. No barber in forty years ever asked this. By the time I saw what he’d done, it was too late to fix. I walked out looking I just joined the Marines. The barber was Alex, the person nearest the entrance.

Fantastic, efficient, fast and friendly service. Great conversation, very experienced barbers. Knew what I was looking for the moment I sat down.

I have lived in Scottsdale for 20 years and this is the best barbershop I have been to. I have been coming here for two years and never had a bad experience. The staff is nice and all give great haircuts. I have had my hair cut by 5 different employees and have been happy with it every time. I moved up to north Scottsdale and still drive down here once a month even though there are probably 20-30 barbers closer to me.

I went in today for a shave and a haircut. The barber didn’t give me a shave, no hot towel, no lotions or aftershave. Just clippers, and an electric shaver. I was shocked when she said she was finished. My hair wasn’t styled or even touched. I looked worse leaving then when I came in. I could have done a better job at home.

This Barber shop is fantastic! Their attention to detail is impressive, I highly recommend getting your haircut here! Well worth it.

My first visit ever. They only take cash, but have an ATM present. I went in for a head shave and to shape my beard for the 1st time since starting to grow it. Shave was wonderful, but a miscommunication about the beard. I said shape and even it up, she said #2 ok... I really had no idea, had faith. Now I am regrowing the beard.

So glad I took a walk down the street from the nearby hotel, I was in definite need of a haircut. What an absolute perfect barbershop experience. I went from caveman to respectable, lol. Though Im not from the area, we visit often and I will most certainly make this a routine stop whenever in town.

I’ve been getting my haircut here since I moved to Scottsdale. I usually see Roza or Rosa and they both do an excellent job. It’s a cash only business unfortunately but the price and quality are worth my only need to visit an ATM.

I ask for a taper and the barber give me a military fade haircut the line up was good but I payed 20 dollars for the haircut cut it more look like a 5 dollar haircut but I guess its okay

Disappointing. Went in for a haircut on a Thursday afternoon and I was not impressed. The barber didnt say a word to me outside of what I wanted, secondly, Im not sure if hes had experience with hard lines or not but he ended up cutting me pretty bad (I shared some pictures) I also felt as though it was rushed and he didnt really care for perfection, but just to get me out the door. Cut was 18 and I tipped 4 dollars, not worth it in my eyes. Will not return. What does a dude have to do to find a decent barber on the east side?

Bad haircut. I was a walk in customer assigned to an older woman. I told her what kind of haircut I wanted and she proceeded to ignore my request and give me what seemed to be a very superficial haircut. My vision is poor and I get my hair cut with my glasses off. The haircut went very fast and the woman shoo-ed me out of the chair without even asking me if the cut was ok. It looked ok at first, and when I suggested the hair in front was too long, she said I could cut it myself! I thought she was being sarcastic, and her abrupt demeanor suggested asking her to cut more was not going to be well received, and I cut my losses. I didnt realize how badly I was treated until I got home and saw in proper lighting that I got what was little more than a trim around the edges. Ive gotten better haircuts from chain stores. That said, the trim was well done. If you go here as a walk in, be VERY specific about what you want and VERY vocal if you do not get what you asked for. Avoid the older woman. The other reviews suggest I just got a very bad haircutter.

Finally a REAL barber shop. I got chopped up at this other place down the road. Luckily I went here after, Israel fixed me up. Awesome cut and great service. This is the shop to go to in Scottsdale!

Ive been having my hair cut at Scottsdale Barbershop since 2007 and havent had a bad cut yet.Typically wait for Mike since he knows my style after 10 years. However Ive used the other barbers when Mike is out on vacation and never any disappointment for me.Old school barber shop that knows how to do proper shaves as well.I live on the West side of the valley and will drive to Scottsdale for a cut rather than risk a poor cut from another shop closer to me.You wont be sorry!!

This place is a disgrace to the area. The owner favors his friends and regulars and has people that have been waiting for an hour get pushed to someone else. With the amount of other shops in the area do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The inside is old and dirty and the owner in the corner doesnt have a clue what he is doing. The First Lady you see when you walk in barely speaks English and doesnt have a clue what she is doing either . STAY AWAY!!!!!

The only place Ill go to after moving down from Seattle. If you want a tight clean fade this is the spot to check out, barely ever a wait, walk-ins only.
