I hired Richard, as my employment attorney when my former company refused to pay me unemployment wages. Richard walked my through all of the necessary steps, coached me and guided me through the process. Once the hearing came everything went smoothly. He made sure that I understood how the process works and answered all the questions that I had. I ended up winning my case, and was able to receive my unemployment. His prices for some people may be a little too high, however for me I did not mind it. As you get what you pay for, if you want a good qualified knowledgeable lawyer then you will have to pay a little bit more. Richard Miller went out of his way to help me get paid by a Chicago employer who was refusing to pay me. After trying to deal with the illinois department of labor (it takes way to long), I was referred to Miller. He took over all contact with the employer (who was very inappropriate towards me) and was successful in getting me paid the money I owed. He sent a strongly worded letter and talked with him on the phone. Miller obviously has the skills and power that is much needed when working with employment law and he executes it in a very timely manner. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone.

Richard Miller was excellent in helping me obtain justice for my daughter in an employment wage claim issue. She worked in the food industry in Chicago and the owner of the bar/restaurant is playing games with employees in terms of tip outs and hourly wages. In fact, many employees have reported on social media that they were not being paid their hourly wages. My daughter was there a week and left due to uncomfortable comments the owner was making. He refused to pay her her one and only paycheck and made false accusations against her. Attorney Miller sent a letter and was prepared to pursue this illegal withholding of a paycheck in court.
