Disingenuous if not dishonest!Spent some time with a local agent back and forth for 2 days. All seemed nice and smooth. Then I even upgraded my policy. They gave me detailed policy coverage over the phone. I decided to add my wifes vehicle as well. I was ready to ditch my current insurance company. EVERYTHING WAS smooth so he asked me my credit card information so I gave him. AFTER, read carefully, AFTER I GAVE HIM PAYMENT INFORMATION, all of a sudden, what a coincidence, he noticed (!) couple of incidents on my driving record and one incident on my wifes. Then the price of the quote DOUBLED!How is it possible that he didnt see that information until he made me give him my payment information? No, it did not feel honest business practice. I came here just to see if they pulled the same trick on others. I started reading reviews and BINGO! This is how they play you!I am sure, for the internet professional response policy, i will receive a reply from Geico saying We are very sorry to hear this,we would love someone to get in touch with you to correct this issue etc. But its too little too late!I was going to add my home insurance after after we settle with current roof claim with our current insurance company (due to storm damage) So yes, they lost 2 cars and a home due to this last minute change. But more, of course I will share this with family and friends. Too bad Geico, o thought you were better than this!

DO NOT DO A ONLINE QUOTE!!!! I did one and this agent WILL NOT stop calling my phone. Its been about a month, if not more and they are still calling daily. Its almost harassment at this point. If you contuine to call and get no response after being told no thank you STOP CALLING, YOU SEEM DESPERATE

Back on 04/07/2015, my vehicle was involved in an accident in a private parking lot. The driver in the other vehicle was parked or stationed on the opposite side of the incoming traffic side, facing the street. The driver of my vehicle was facing the street, driving in the outgoing traffic lane. The other driver, without regard of their surrounds, proceeded to start driving the vehicles. Backing up into a parking spot, so the driver my vehicle remained stationed. The other driver then proceeded to straighten their vehicle and drove forward and hit the driver side of my vehicle. After calling the police, they stated it was the other drivers fault. After contacting geico, they claimed it was 80/20, the driver of my vehicles fault. I fought to bring them down to 50/50, but that was as far as they were willing to go. Even though the police said otherwise.

Beware of BAIT AND SWITCH!Was quoted one price over the phone, only to see that it did not include all of the drivers in the household. This was even though every car was matched up with a driver and all information was given to them regarding ALL drivers. I noticed the missing driver when I logged onto my account to print my cards. I called them immediately to let them know. They said theyd get back to me within 72 hours.They didnt.I called them back again. The agent said a supervisor would call me back in 30-45 minutes.They didnt.I logged onto my account the next day. They finally added the missing driver and my rates TRIPLED!!So within 1 week I was sold insurance on 4 cars and a house for 1 price. Canceled my other insurance. Noticed an error (on their part) in the policy. Contacted them twice and was promised a call-back twice. Never got ANY call-back. Then found my policy quote TRIPLED!!! Not only was this way more than their quote, it was WAY more than my previous policy that I had just cancelled in order to join Geico.If I could give less than one star I would.

Will NEVER recommend Geico to anyone ever again. Their claim process is not keeping their customer in mind. The supervisor said he’d follow up when I asked him to pull the recorded conversation of them lieing & misleading me about what my policy covers. My lesson & recommendation is don’t use Geico for auto insurance and NEVER listen to what they tell you. ONLY read the fine print & investigate yourself. I have never been so mislead by a company in my life.

Really bad service, as they keep you out side the office where the insurance guys sit, so they just want to take your money and all that discount is not true as my car insurance is going up then you go and complain and the guy will give you his own discount but after few weeks you will receive a letter from GEIGO asking you to pay the balance which is the same discount the guy gave you, last time I managed to get inside the office and it was so unprofessional as most of them young people and you could tell they were between jobs and just trying to waist the time.

My wifes car was hit from behind by an uninsured driver and suffered significant damage. Weve had Geico for a long time but had no claims experience with them, and feared the worst given the save money with Geico attraction that drew us to them to begin with. I couldnt have been more surprised and pleased. Geico actually had a representative located in the car repair shop...the rental car was waiting for us when we arrived, and the repair was timely and well done. If going through a an auto repair can be seem-less...this is as close as it comes.

I am sick and tired of Geico. I have been with them for over 8 years, and through everything, they have increased my rates every 6 months for the last 3 years. My response is that drivers today are becoming more costly for insurance companies, so my rate goes up proportionally to cover the cost of drivers elsewhere. Well, thats great but that isnt me trying to cost you more money to ensure me even though my driving record and credit history is great! Just got information that says its going to jump another chunk AGAIN and I cant stand it anymore. Im going to look somewhere else. Thanks for taking care of your long-term customers. You wont see me again.

GEICO IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!! THEY CALLED ME TO LURE ME AWAY FROM COUNTRY FINANCIAL HOUSE INSURANCE. THEY GAVE ME A GREAT PRICE ON HOUSE INSURANCE SO I DROPPED COUNTRY. THEN THEY SENT A GUY OUT TO INSPECT OUR HOUSE WITHOUT CALLING FIRST! WE HAD TO SEND THE GUY AWAY BECAUSE WE WERE HAVING WORK DONE ON OUR CHIMNEY AT THE TIME. THEN THEY CALLED TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR THE HOUSE INSPECTION AND THEY STARTED ASKING ABOUT PETS. I TOLD THEM I HAVE A SMALL DOG WHO IS MEAN. THEY DOUBLED MY PRICE FOR HOUSE INSURANCE AFTER I HAD ALREADY DROPPED COUNTRY!!!!! I NEVER GO BACK TO ANYONE AFTER THEY DUMP ME! THEN GEICO SENT ME AN EMAIL TO SAY SORRY TO SEE YOU GO. Spoke today to get a quote for auto insurance. Complete idiot i spoke with over phone. He wanted my social security number and other items that dont pertain to car insurance. Id rather deal with Eagle Man insurance than these idiots

Keep deceiving people with your useless commercials about saving people money, doing the opposite, scamming people out of their money.
Geico was horrible to work with. Denied my claim of being rear ended even when their insured recieved a ticket from the police. Susan Perlman, the claim examiner was very unpleasant to myself and my insurance company. I hope I never have to deal with these people again.

The worst insurance company I have worked with! Told my boyfriend and I what are payment was and then a few days before the payment was due they told us we owed more!! We even talked to a manager and he told us our payments and we made sure that is what it would be and then they sent an email three days before it was due telling us it was more. Cancelling my policy and going some where else.
