I usually never leave reviews, but I felt compelled to give my feedback. Ive only been living here for a few short weeks but have had the most pleasant experience so far. The apartments are so clean, no bugs, no noisy neighbors, no weird smells. Beautiful area to walk your dogs or just go for a morning stroll. And even though youre next to a highway, its barely noisy at all! Everyone in the community has been so friendly too, on top of the staff being so professional and welcoming. I personally worked with Lauren and Julie, they were both so helpful! I highly recommend this place to anyone!

Office staff is rude. They will try to talk you into applying and once you are approved they judge your income and do the best to make sure you don’t become a resident. Also this complex does NOT return application fees. So don’t apply unless you are willing to lose $90.Thank you.

This was my first apartment together with my boyfriend, and it was also while we lived here that we adopted a puppy. So for this reason Fieldpointe will always have a place in our hearts! It is a wonderful apartment complex with a beautiful courtyard and amazing pool & fitness center. The management was always very kind and helpful, and maintenance was always quick to respond to our requests. I would definitely recommend Fieldpointe to anyone!

We are delighted, that the service we needed was resolved the same day and not only that. To our big surprise we were delighted how efficient Employees of this company are. Instead coming up and pick up the window screen that had to be replaced, companys Employee brought the roll of the new screen to be replaced and the tools needed to this job, so it was just a matter of minutes to have this screen replaced. We were both with my husband truly impressed. Thank you again.

My partner and I are looking for an apartment that is quiet and in a good location. We inquired about a unit at Fieldpointe. Lauren Cieplik, assistant property manager, replied to the inquiry. We spoke on the phone and she was patient, kind and empathetic about our current living situation. She offered to show us units on the top floor- which is exactly what we are looking for. Lauren is knowledgeable, sweet and even flexible with her schedule. I would definitely recommend working with Lauren when calling about apartment rentals.

I moved in May 17th and have had some maintenance issues with my new place However, the maintenance staff has been very responsive to my repair needs. They kept me in the loop on the status updates and made sure it has been done in a timely manner. Thank you everyone for making this a very easy process.

I had a leaking faucet in the kitchen. Bad light witch in dining room. Maintenance came out and replaced light switch and fixed the sprayer in kitchen sink, they never lokm under sink for leak. When I came home from work I thought it was fixed. I looked under sink, turned kn water still leaking. Called the office. The next day my faucet was fixed. Thank you

Stay away! In the past 3 months Ive had to move apartments because of a psycho neighbor and a non-stop leaky apartment ceiling. They made ME pay all the fee’s to switch apartments which is insane, with no assistance or apologies on their behalf for all my issues. On top of that, just weeks ago in my new unit, a snake decided to make my bathroom its new home and nearly fell through while I was in there. Maintenance still hasn’t found the snake or who it belongs too. I think they gave up. No apologies or offering to move me considering what an endangerment this is to my dog and me, as well as anyone else living here. I find that insane considering what a risk that is their own management. If someone got bit, or worse, they’ll be sued terribly. Almost every night my girlfriend gives herself anxiety not knowing if it’ll pop out anywhere else. She hates staying over here now. Most recently my sink started gushing water, and the hole in my bathroom from the snake incident is still there nearly a month later.I cannot wait to move, hopefully I can get out my lease earlier. I’ll keep my review updated if they ever make this right.

Maintenance fixed the issue super fast. Always happy with their work and friendly personalities.

Helpful management, friendly neighbors, straightforward move-in process

We have been living in this complex as of this year it will be big 25 years. If we did not like it here, we would have moved a long time ago. We can only praise the management and the services we have received so far. Our wash machine stopped working, and we were delighted that after a brief assessment of the maintenance person, he phoned us the same day and installed nearly a new wash machine the next day.It means a great deal for us. Although we have aged here gracefully over the years, both have some health issues now and walking downstairs to wash few things is a big deal for us.This early morning we had the washing machine delivered and hooked up. We are indeed on top of the world, thanking everybody from Fieldpointe involved in this transaction. We could not be happier.

The apartment and buildings themselves are nice and generally speaking I really enjoyed living there. The girls who work in the leasing office are very nice too. Maintenance/pest control is sometimes hard to work with- Ive had them show up without arranging a time or not show at all (more than once). I am not a messy/dirty person and I had issues with ANTS AND A MOUSE. I was ground level, so that could be why but it was disgusting regardless. One of the maintenance men also let himself into my apartment to bring in a package that was delivered without authorizing that with me.. I just came home to find it inside. Although the intention might have been nice, it was super creepy. If the unit you are looking at is one with a washer/dryer, dont get too excited, its TERRIBLE. They also charge for EVERYTHING. But the pool is nice and clean, decent fitness center. Great location.

Attention apartment hunters - read me!Staff Effort 10/10 (responsive and friendly, great people really)Neighbors 10/10 (majority good people)Appliances 10/10 (new, work great)Location 10/10 (convenient to work downtown sch)Comfort 7/10 (biggest problem is NOISE, see below)Ive compiled this list over the year so heres the tea.-- Windows are not sound proof because of old/bad seals making it hard to fall/stay asleep. Having guests overnight? NOISE-- AC units are noisy and inefficient. I have two in window units in my apartment on the top floor. Running them both on HIGH on extremely hot days gets it down to tap water temperature. Keep in mind this is a temporary con as its cold for most of the year. But having guests overnight? MORE NOISE and HOT-- Apartments heated via radiator; they work well but this is additional noise especially noticeable while youre trying to sleep. But having guests overnight? MORE NOISE-- Bathroom fan ventilation is noisy; you can hear the downstairs neighbors bathroom fan from your own bedroom. MORE NOISEThe last one is a simple fix. You typically use hollow doors everywhere else but the bathroom should really have a solid bathroom door to muffle the dang noise. Only a few bucks more expensive than the hollow door.Any light sleepers should mention the issues Ive listed above to management and ensure theyre taken care of before signing their lease.Overall very satisfied with living here and recommend it to anyone. Great pricing too for the area.

Great experience during my first year in Illinois. Clean facilities with great grounds for tenants to walk, exercise, hangout, etc. Apartments were comfortable and the leasing/maintenance staff were very accommodating.

I dont complain about the fact that 1/3rd of the parking lots are not currently useable, the threats from them about sending back packages over black Friday, the lack of functioning parking lot lights, the roof leaks or any of the other issues here but man, leave a doormat outside your place and you are in trouble.Cant wait for my lease to expire.

The grounds of the apartments are very nice and well kept. There are plenty of areas to walk around and nice clearings for walking dogs or just being outside.The apartment itself is nice, laminate floors and countertops and upgraded appliances.The complex also has a pool and gym attached to the leasing office which is super convenient. The pool area also has gas grills that can be used by residents for barbecuing.Another nice feature is that you can have packages sent to the leasing office where they will be put in a locker for you to pick up at your convenience.The office staff has been nothing but great to me throughout the 2 years that Ive been here and are always very polite and professional.While rent is a little expensive, you wont find any other place of this quality with the same great amenities close to this area.

Absolutely loved the location, office personnel and maintenance staff. However, the apartment was bitterly cold in the dead of winter due to leaky windows and a warped patio door. Notified management in November about the draft issue and nothing could be done about it. This was as close to uninhabitable as possible in February.Also in my building, the cleaning people did a miserable job of cleaning the hallways. Sometimes, they never even cleaned anything more than the main doorway. Dead bugs and such were there for weeks to even months in some cases. Complained to the property manager numerous times about this as well.While the underground garage was fabulous. I just cannot recommend Fieldpointe.

Always super fast maintenance requests, friendly front office, peaceful, beautiful area and not crowded community. An absolute gem. Just wish they added a bit more to the courtyard and more path lighting.

Great experience! I was moving to Schaumburg from California on very short notice and I was able to take care of everything online. Communication was quick and the process was easy.

The location is great! Our apartment had a lot of maintenance issues since it is an older building. Our apartment building also had issues with other residents stealing packages. The only way to solve it was to change our delivery address to the leasing center and pick it up there. Kim who worked in the leasing center was great! She was always helpful and very informative.

The quietest apartment I have ever lived in. Staff and neighbors assisted my Mother-in-law with a medical emergency (type 1 diabetic). Maintainance usually taken care of quickly and properly. Some problems with insects (spiders, beetles, ants) but it they have it under control now. The layout and apartment size can be a little awkward to arrange furniture. Centrally located to everything we need. Grounds are nice, pool is enjoyable.

We absolutely loved this place! we were lucky enough to this place our first family home and unfortunately we had to relocate due to family commitments. But our experience there was amazing! Clean, affordable, friendly, safe. The maintenance staff were quick and professional. Lauren and Kim are hands down the two best front staff ever and location can have. They were very welcoming and friendly. They make sure they take the time to get to know you and help in any way they can. If given the chance we would love to live there again!

Just moved in this March and couldnt have been more pleased with building/complex. Signed up for 1 year lease (1 bed and 1 bath-728 square feet) and the in-apt amenities are excellent. Several different payment options as well. And the leasing complex staff (Kimberlee in particular) have been warm and friendly. Most important: Very Clean! A perfect place for single occupancy.

Lauren made my move-in experience easy as can be. She provided insights into the community and made me feel safe in my decision. This place, I believe 100%, is the best value for your dollar. I am so happy with my decision to move here.

Been living here for about Year and half now and I LOVE ❤️ It!!! I love my apartment and the staff is amazing. Kim, Lauren and the Maintenance men are always so pleasant and willing to solve any issues. The only think I would say is that we could use updated gym equipment a stair master and stepper would be great!!! Overall, I highly recommend this place to anyone. Lots to do and close by to almost any and every shop you prefer and doctors appointments are also close by; can’t beat the location ❤️

Normally i dont leave reviews, but i had such a wonderful move-in experience i feel like i had to. kimberlee and kelly are absolute angels. i probably had a hundred questions and everything was answered very quickly and kindly. the buildings are so nice and i love the greenery! its such an amazing improvement from my last places (especially coming from the city lol)! overall im extremely impressed about everything and even though i just moved, i feel like i’ll have a wonderful experience here :) i also have the PERFECT view of ikea, and it’s everything i’ve ever wanted in life haha!

Ive been living here about seven months now. Lets talk glows and grows!Glows - Very friendly and accessible staff who get to know their residents well. Timely response to anything service-related, because things do happen in terms of maintaining a facility, but so far it has been one business day response to non-emergency issues.Neutral - Pricing is comparable to the area for the most part, perhaps a bit on the high end given the lack of finish in some areas (my kitchen in particular could really stand for an update) but that seems to be something in progress for the complex.Grows - While the garage is nice to have, the upper level parking is starting to show its age. This needs to be attended to sooner over later - the potholes are increasing, and thats costly to auto owners.Wasp control - Gotta be much more aggressive on this front - tons and tons of wasps (wood buildings will do that).Cam charges - Be aware that most bills (gas, trash, snow, etc) are per building, so if a neighbor turns their heat up to a gazillion, you pay for that, and that really reeks, especially if you are a top-floor apartment.Overall - Im pretty happy I moved here and live here now. Management does care and tries to be responsive, which in most cases is 90% of the battle. That said, there are areas to improve, and I look forward to those improvements in the future.

Ive lived here for about a month now and I am in love with the property! The apartments are so nice and cozy and theres a floor plan for everyones needs! My leasing agent Kim was very friendly and helpful. My only drawback would be how thin the walls are but after awhile you kind of get over it.

In one month we have to place two emergency maintenance requests. Heater not working in snow storm, it’s really not at all acceptable. Only good thing we saw is on call maintenance guys response was quick. Staff is good.

Ive been living here for over a year and I love it! Its hard to find a nice apartment complex that has a washer/dryer in the unit AND allows pets. Im very happy I ended up here at Fieldpointe. Everyone in the leasing office has always been very helpful. The maintenance staff is always helpful as well. If youre looking for an affordable, clean and wonderful place to live... Fieldpointe is where its at! Its also an added bonus living super close to Woodfield Mall and Ikea!

I moved her out of state and the whole process has been SO easy and relaxed. The office ladies are so wonderful and helpful. I needed some work done right when I got there (nothing big) and they put in the request and the guy came on the same day! The apartments are really large and love the underground parking garage as well. The only downside that I have found is I always need more closet space (which I dont think any place has enough for me) and the hallways smell a little funky. I would love to see some passports instead of keys for the main building entrance just to make carrying armfuls of groceries in easier. Overall, I am SUPER happy living here :)

I enjoy living at Fieldpointe. The Office staff is friendly, knowledgeable and extend extra effort to to help whenever they can.They received a delivery for me. When they realized it was cold packed dog food, they put the box in their fridge till I picked it up. That was above and beyond. I really appreciate that.The maintenance staff are great. Main requests are answered quickly and completely.There are celebrations thruout the month ... National Pizza Day, National Popcorn Day. They host a variety of classes like financial planning, wine tasting.Fieldpointe is close to shopping; and conveniently close to Route 53 and I90.

The staff is very friendly in the office. They remember who you are and show genuine concern about any issues and concerns you may have. The maintenance staff responds quickly to all request and provide you with an ECD if unable to complete. The grounds are well kept. I have enjoyed living in the apartment and hope to continue to live here.

We just rented a couple of months ago and had nothing but great service. The facility is kept up well and it is clean. The pricing is reasonable and the amenities are nice as well. Looking forward to warmer weather to use the pool. Very nice place I would recommend to family and friends

I lived in this apartment complex on a short term basis while relocating to Chicago. I was very impressed with the facility and the residents. The facility dates from the 70s but has been well maintained. My studio apartment was very nicely remodeled and clean. The residents in the 1704 building were very polite and extemely respectful of their neighbors. The only issue I had were people talking loudly in the hall. Thats it. The lack of issues is quite unlike all other apartments and houses I have rented over the years.To the office staff, maintenance team, and management: keep up the good work.

I am not a current resident but considering starting a lease. I called their offsite # first and while the girl was helpful she was unable to answer all my questions. I contacted their on-site property and spoke with Monica who was very helpful. She answered all of my questions and was VERY sweet 🙂. Looking forward to our viewing this weekend! Calling a property is the first step, this interaction is so important to get a real feel of the place and how they will tend to their residents once they move in.. and let me tell you, some places I’ve called were less than friendly right from the beginning. This place was a breath of fresh air

Very fast and efficient!

The old management (2013) was much better than the current new management.Instead of nicely notify the tenants to change their parking stickers, the new management opted to let the towing company do the notification for them, so the tenants woke up to a nasty orange stickers on their vehicles that doesnt wash out!Also the new management doesnt answer the phone, you always have to leave a message!

Everything has been great, so far. In a great location and takes less than five minutes to the tollway.The complex was built in the early 70s so its in the best shape it can be.Concrete walls! Have yet to hear a neighbor through the walls but I do hear chatter from the front door if someones being loud.Still in my first week of living here and have nothing to complain about. I had a couple of things added to the move-in checklist but its all minor.I was working with Kimberlee throughout the whole process and she made everything a breeze. She get 5 stars.

This is coming from a 15 year resident of this property. I will say this is a very pleasant apartment complex to reside and although Ive watched the property change management many times over the years, the integrity of the property has pretty much remained the same. It is accessible to Woodfield Mall and just about everywhere else. The maintenance team has been the same since before I moved here and theyre generally expeditious with all repairs.However I will say this, the current management in my opinion is very fee driven. Yes I have been late over 30 times in my tenure on this property, paid any fee i was required to pay, and yet still offered a lease when renewal was up. Dont be late because theyre late fees are excessive and no matter what the situation is, they will cut no slack. You have to pay back any concession given as well as a $100 late fee and $5 a day fee until the balance is paid. My account was hacked one month and even though I showed them proof, I was required to show them my personal account info to prove I didnt receive extra money because they were going to penalize me for my account being hacked anyway. They will raise rent every year and they have 3 parking lots of which 1 has been under repair over 2 years and makes parking very difficult. They will try to make you feel like a degenerate for being late on rent, yet will totally lose site of what theyre making you pay. Lastly, if you are late, to add salt to the wound, youre guaranteed a 5 day notice which they make sure all your neighbors are privy to by leaving it in front of your door, no envelope or even folded. I have never been to eviction court 1 time. If Im lying about anything I said and they read this, name one thing i lied about? Nice play to stay but make sure you and your spouse stay healthy if you both pay the rent because they will hit you with late fees even if your spouse is in the hospital.

There is a lot to love about this place. The staff is incredible! They are available for anything you need. The grounds are well maintained. The area is very safe. I am on the first floor and never worry about leaving with my windows open when the weather is nice. There is designated guest parking. The pool area is nice and card access controlled. The gym is not huge but it has enough equipment for a quick workout and is well maintained. I order from Amazon all the time. Packages that arrive when you are not home are taken to the office where they are secure until you pick them up. The office is open 7 days a week. The people that live here are very friendly. Garage parking is available for a fee. I would definitely recommend this complex to anyone looking to live in the area.

Lived in one of their studios (1722 209) for a year. Staff was always extremely helpful and very nice. Maintenance when needed was very timely efficient and well done.No complaints

Apartments are over priced and the upgrades arent worth the money. You can find an apartment at Walden Square next door that has the same layout for a way cheaper price. My first unit in Poplar had all kinds of bugs, ants, spiders, silverfish. I moved to a new unit and it has woodlouse spiders. Its cold so I havent seen many but is horrible. None of the utilities are included and the way the calculate them you end up paying more each money because it takes the buildings usage and divides that up based on your square footage so I basically pay for others people usage. There are potholes every where. They make you pay Cam charges but none of that money goes toward upkeep. The carpets are dirty in the main hallways. Just an overall bad experience for what I pay which is 1256 for a one bedroom. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Find a town home near by for less.

We had a wonderful 2+ years at Fieldpointe! The staff is super friendly (especially Kim, who we had the most facetime with). Theyve been making steady improvements to all amenities and units to update and make it even better than when we moved in. Such a great area with plenty of gorgeous greenspace. Sad to leave, but it was time for a fresh start and change of scenery, as well as finding a place within walking distance of the Metra to make things easier on my wife and I since we only have 1 car. Many thanks to everyone at Fieldpointe! Id definitely recommend it!!

This would be my third times living at Fieldpointe of Schaumburg do to work in the Chicagoland area. I love to apartment complex as well as the staff that work at the complex.

I would not advise anyone to move over here. The rent goes up every year, the parking lot is horrible (over by the office). They had us parking on the street for months claiming that the top parking lot above the garage wasnt sturdy enough to hold the cars. Never got the parking lot fixed and and then they let us park our cars back up there. Also, in the units you get a washer/dryer(what a joke) It washes and dries your clothes and it takes literally 5 hours I put my clothes in at 11:07 they were not done until 4:24. This place is a complete rip off not to mention they have regular washers and dryers down the hall that you have to pay for (all they want is money). This place is not worth the price they are asking for at all, they dont even have central air, you get old raggedy air conditioners (that smell horrible when you turn them on). if I could get my money back from this piece of juke I would. The only pros to this place is they have a nice pool.

Ive lived here for a year and a half, and have to say Im very satisfied. The grounds are clean, and there are some nice amenities like a fitness center, pool, and complimentary Internet access. The office staff is much more professional than most other apartment office staff I have dealt with in the past. They respond to maintenance requests within a few days, are available during their business hours to respond to phone calls, and they send polite letters if there is an issue that requires my attention, such as paperwork. Rent is reasonable. The complex is also right near Morettis, which has great Italian food including pizza!However, I wish Google would have let me give a 4.5 star rating for a few issues. First, about a year ago, I was having trouble finding a space in the free parking lot. A few times, I was concerned I wasnt going to be able to park after I came home from work. I tried calling the office about it, but they never really resolved the issue. Second, a small minority of the tenants that have moved in are a bit on the low-class side. One time, I had to call the police for a potential domestic disturbance. Fortunately, everyone was OK, and it has never happened again. I get the feeling management stepped in, which is another example of how proactive they are.Overall, I can easily recommend Fieldpointe of Schaumburg to anyone seeking a reasonably-priced, comfortable apartment in the Northwest Suburbs.

I wanted to wait til I was living here for a bit before I wrote a review. Now Ive been here 3 months, and overall Im enjoying living here!PROS:-Excellent Excellent EXCELLENT staff. Kim was who showed me the available apartments and answered any questions I had. This was my first time looking at apartments so some of my questions were dumb, but she was extremely patient and helpful throughout the entire process. Even after move in, the office staff is there to help in any way you need. Also, the maintenance staff is super friendly and helpful as well! Any request Ive put in has been completed within 24 hours.-The apartment itself is pretty spacious for a 1 bedroom. I have an in-unit washer/dryer combo (which is alright but nothing spectacular), a microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher, oven, and plenty of storage space.-My apartment was recently renovated, so I have hardwood floors and nice countertops and backsplash. Honestly, it looks really great, but after close inspection, its pretty cheap stuff. But I dont mind since it looks so classy.-There is a moderately sized fitness center, pool, and small office where you can print things if you need.-The location is fantastic. Schaumburg is a pretty busy community, but this complex is tucked away in its own little corner, but still very accessible to everything you need.-I feel safe here. Im on the first floor but I have no reason to feel nervous or uncomfortable. Everyone pretty much keeps to themselves, but Ive had no problems in terms of safety.CONS:-I think my biggest con is the building itself. You can tell its a very old building. Noise from neighbors is extremely minimal, but the building itself makes SO much noise. I wake up multiple times every night from pipes banging, water rushing, extremely loud creaks and cracks, and other just random sounds. I think my body is used to it by now, but the building definitely needs some work.-Two things I should mention that I think were just flukes, but theyre worth stating: 1) The maintenance people entered my apartment while I was at work to move my electrical box. When I returned home from work, my door was cracked open! I explained this to the office and they assured me it would not happen again. 2) I ordered a TV and it was left outside the building! Anyone could have had a free TV!-The parking is spacious, but I havent been able to enjoy that because 80% of the lot has been closed since I moved in and I have no idea why. It makes getting a parking spot a huge hassle.As you can see, the pros definitely outweigh the cons. Rent is kind of high, but I think if you take into the location and other things, you can justify it. Hopefully they dont raise my rent too much after my lease is up, because I can definitely see myself living here for awhile! Overall, this is an excellent place to live and I would definitely suggest taking a look at these apartments! Im glad I chose Fieldpointe!

Do not go there. Prices are high for what you get and mostly the customer care is bad! Bad! Bad!Would not help you if you have a complaint.Parking lot was not working for months and you had to park on street and I even got a parking ticket which they didn’t consider!! Worst experience of my life!!!! Plus- Place is old, appliances are bad, And you get charged for that. Spiders everywhere.They give Starbucks cards if you give them good review which make since why they have even one star.Don’t go be aware!

Most of the parking lot has been closed for a while now, and space is pretty tight.

Kimberlee is amazing and made the whole move in process easy and painless.

We stayed here when we shifted to illinois and then had to move back to different state. We came back this year and again opted to stay here.its a nice small clean community. Cost has increased as compared to 2 years IMO they can reduce that while they keep upgrading some or the other thing in summer its not that much to charge for.Staff here are friendly specially kim. i did had 1-2 complaints and it was taken care immediately. Got good deal on underground parking.negative: you can hear the vehicles sound pretty much whole day, interstate being so close. i guess panels in the living room should be replaced.

My wife and I have been here since August 2017, and we are so happy with our apartment! We moved from Louisiana not really knowing the area and ALL the staff have been great! Like all apartments, we have had a few issues with appliances, but maintenance addresses/fixes it within a day! Just recently our A/C broke, and they replaced the whole unit for us! Aside from the interstate being loud, the apartments are very quiet and you rarely hear your neighbors. They have updated the carpets in the hallways and the upper level parking! While updating they offered us discounted underground parking which has been great for the winter months!Growing areas:1) The hallways have a funky smell because Im pretty sure some neighbors are smoking inside.2) It would be nice to better sound proof the apartments from the interstate sounds.

Office staff has always been accomadating to my specific requests. The maintanance staff is great with timely and quality repairs.

Maintenace employees are phenomenal. Sewage water was backing up to my bathtub. Notified the maintenance crew and within an hour received a call saying that they are on the way. Even though their equipment had broke that same day from an earlier call at a different building, they went above and beyond to get another within a couple of hours. And this type of industrial equipment does not frequent your everyday convenient walmart shelf so who knows the hoops they had to jump thru to get one delivered in such a short notice. And after they had finished, courteously cleaned all the gunk that had emrged from the pipes into my bathtub and had it cleaner than i ever had personally. To Harris and his Manager, thank you so much again for you prompt, courteous, and professional service of which youve humbly given. All your efforts are appreciated and keep up the great work!-CDLRI had realized that i had forgotten the shout - out to the leasing staff, especially Kim. Always very helpfull and accommodating to all my meeds. Thanks Kim! I had a really horrible experience renting here. The apartment I was renting had roof leak, I had a new born baby. When I requested for another apartment due to construction 🚧 I was told to vacate the apartment as no one was ready to rent this apartment. My family had to go through lots of stress because I was a new parent with sleepless nights and leaking roof.I decide to end my lease as luckily my lease was expiring the next month. The office staff was no helpful.Now after 2 years leasing office has sent me a email saying I was due some amount if I don’t pay it they will send me to collections. I assume they are not happy because I have reported them to village of Schaumburg.

AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE BLACK PLAGUE. WAY TOO OVERPRICED FOR WHAT THEY GIVE YOU. I had a unit in 1722 Poplar that was upgraded yet the AC was from 1980. The baseboard heating looked beat up and rusted. I had NUMEROUS SPIDERS which is common in Poplar as well as SilverFish. GROSS. They are about to increase the rates which is standard but the place already isnt worth the money. Please LOOK AROUND IN SCHAUMBURG AND FIND A PLACE WORTH THE MONEY. THE WORKOUT ROOM IS SUB PAR AT BEST FOR 1300/MONTH WITH UTILITIES. IT IS TINY. THE POOL WAS GROSS LAST SUMMER BEFORE A RESIDENT SENT AN EMAIL TO THE WHOLE COMPLEX ABOUT GETTING IT CLEANED. THE GROUNDS LOOK GROSS AND THE OUTSIDE OF THE BUILDINGS HAVE NOT BEEN UP KEPT AT ALL. THE DECKS/BALCONIES LOOK LIKE THEY ARE GONNA FALL OFF. ROTTEN WOOD. JUST AN OVERALL HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. NO UPDATED BUZZER SYSTEM INTO THE UNITS AT ALL. CARPETS IN THE HALLWAYS WERE JUST CLEANED AFTER A YEAR OF ME BEING THERE. JUST A GROSS LOOKING PLACE. POT HOLES ON TOP PARKING LOTS. NO UPDATES IN THE KITCHENS DE

EDIT: I came back to change my rating from four to five stars, soley because of the office staff. Ive hit some major bumps in my move-out process (nothing at all to do with them), and they have been nothing but understanding, accomodating, and fantastic. That makes ALL the difference in the world in these situations!!!! Huge thank you to Jen, Kimberlee, and Amanda for making a stressful situation much less stressful.Fieldpointe has been my home for the past 15 months, and I dont have any major complaints! My only negatives: I wish I had realized before moving in that there is no central air or heat; the parking lot is always crazy full and there is NEVER guest parking; and the utilities are split up by building, not by unit. But other than that, the complex is very quiet and generally well-kept. The office staff is great, and I rarely heard a peep from my neighbors. I am sad to be leaving - Fieldpointe was a great home while I was here.

The office staff is so much better than the first few years living here. Ive been here for 7 years and the past couple of years have been very good. The only thing negative I could say is a month ago water was pouring in from the toilet from the upstairs apartment. The person that was living there had no idea on how to stop the flow of water and Maintenance was not available. I was able the stop the water and clean up the mess from my apartment. Nobody contacted me from the office to thank me for preventing a lot of damage or to look at my apartment for any necessary repairs to be done. I probably saved thousands of dollars in repair and not one thanks. Maintenance did come by a hour later that night and told me that a painter would come by tomorrow at noon but a month later still nobody came.

My father is disabled and he moved here to find a complex that will accommodate his needs. They have been very helpful with providing him a first floor unit with key access through his patio door also during the winter he is very impressed with the sidewalks free of ice and snow for his safety. He also had some accidents inside the unit such as a broken closet door and bed room door etc because he sometimes cant see when he drives his scooter throughout the house and the maintance crew is very friendly they come if not the same day definitely the next day to help fix anything he needs. A lot of places do not like to constantly assist those in need like my father so I really appreciate everything the staff and crew have done and continue to do. I would recommend living here. Its a pretty much quiet community because each unit is a good amount of spaced apart. Very close to the expressway and wood field mall to. Thank you fieldpoint of Schaumburg.

If i can give no stars i would. These people are as close to criminal as you can get. Rent is insanely high for mediocre apartments. And make sure you read your lease agreement they have a policy stating you have to give a written 60 day notice your vacating even though your contact is up then they upcharge the rent by 25%. This place is a joke

I wish google had given me a choice to give this place a -ve rating. The worst service Ive ever got in my entire life, form the management of Field Pointe of Schaumburg. They are rude and not considerate for the residents. They dont have ethics and impose unreasonable charges even when they have wrong information from their side.

Visiting and car got towed at the parking lot. There was no sign, no warning. Guests beware.

Great place to live if you like subpar apartments and enjoy being treated like youre not important by the crappy management office staff...
