I had a great experience at Huntington Learning Center! I improved my ACT score by seven points in only three months. I was always greeted with smiling faces, making it a positive experience.My tutors were very helpful and supportive. Jim is an incredible teacher who knows every trick and strategy needed to succeed on the test. He helped me stay focused through my frustrations and he dealt with my overconfidence. By the time I took the test, I was in complete command.Overall, I credit much of my success to Huntington and would recommend it to any student, regardless of ability.

I have really enjoyed my time at Huntington Learning Center. Huntington is one of the main reasons for the increase in my ACT score. I love my tutors and even feel like Im close with other tutors I see often. All of the teachers are very nice and care about everyone. My tutors work very hard to keep me confident and to get me the score I want. I already have and will continue to recommend Huntington to friends.

My son completed his Chemistry SAT II work here, as well as some extra trigonometry lessons over the summer to help him with an advanced math placement test at school. The lessons here tend to be a little more affordable than a private tutor at home, which is great if you are on a budget. Eileen is great at sorting out whatever is required for your individual childs needs. If you need a tutor for your kids definitely dont hesitate to talk to them at the Huntington center.

We had an excellent experience with Huntington of Scarsdale. Two of our children used their services for ACT prep and improved their scores thanks to their excellent efforts and follow through. We were also impressed and taken by their one on one attention and their follow up post test. They take a personal interest in each student reaching their full potential.

Huntington Learning Center helped my daughter to be a better student, which reflects on her grades and confidence. Her grades have improved into the high 90s.. My only regret is not having her enrolled earlier. Huntington program works, the teachers and administrators dedication allows for a healthy, stress-free and positive learning environment. The teachers and administrators are 100% dedicated to the students learning. Monthly update meetings are excellent to measure your child learning progress. I whish I had enrolled my daughter into the Huntington Program earlier. My daughter became a much better student, more focused, more confident and much more knowledgeable. Weve had both our kids enrolled at Huntington in Scarsdale over the last few years at different stages, and what we appreciate is the individualized attention they receive from their tutors. The programme is structured and the kids performance is measured at various stages, so you can see what progress your child is making or areas of concern that they are working on. The staff is very professional, caring and dedicated to each child. A shout-out to the centre director, Eileen and the other wonderful staff and tutors. Both my daughter and son have shown considerable academic improvement because of their time at Huntington and I would 100% recommend them to parents and friends.

Huntington is a great place. I feel like a have really improved my strategies and I feel much more confident taking the ACT than before. The staff is great and I highly recommend coming here to prepare for any standardized testing.

Both of my kids, in Kindergarten and first grade respectively, have made tremendous strides with the help of the tutors at huntington. They have fortified the foundational skills they need to thrive in school and have given my kids a level of confidence in their ability to learn and master the material they are presented with. My son has been taking an ACT prep course through Huntington since July. The program coursework has been very thorough and the tutors have been extremely helpful both with content and test taking strategies. He regularly takes full practice tests at the center and his score has improved by 5 points already! We are optimistic that when he takes the actual ACT in December that he will get the score he is hoping for on the first try and be able to put that part of the college process behind him. The office staff at Huntington has been great and I have found Eileen to be responsive and very accommodating with my sond busy high school schedule! Highly recommend for ACT prep!

The lessons at Huntington Learning Center have really built my son (Jaison’s) confidence. He is not afraid to read out loud anymore he is now more out spoken and happy to be at school and also he likes coming to the center and coming home with his word cards. All the tutors that he has worked with have made sure he has a firm understanding of the lessons that are being taught to him. I was very pleased with how patient they are with him and that made me feel like I made the right choice with his education . When he received his report card in June I was very proud of all his accomplishments and also he received an award for most improved in reading and math, and he was very excited to come home and show me.

Very caring staff and improvement seen in a week! Most of the tutors are, or were, teachers. The tutors are very involved with the students and they are not left alone while in the center. Worth every penny!

Our son started going to Huntington in Sept 2017 and also for help with his school work. His PSAT scores and his Prep test scores were in the 1450-1480 range. But he surprised us all with a whopping 1580 in the latest SAT exam. Many thanks to all the tutors who have been guiding him throughout...your help has been precious indeed.

We could not have been happier with our experience with the staff of Huntington Learning Center in Scarsdale. They were beyond accommodating of our crazy schedule and highly competent in their knowledge of the ACT material and test taking strategies. The hours are long. The methodology did not suit my son. We had already paid and we asked for a refund. We were not happy at all. It was a lot of money and my son was not getting the benefit they sold us on. Instead of a reimbursement they adjusted the program for our son for him to reap some benefit from it. He did reap the benefit for the short time that the program was adjusted. Each session is 3 hours long. When we started it my sons grades actually went DOWN because he did not have time to do his homework AND his sports and Hungtinton. When we explained this they actually made us feel guilty for him not coming 3 times a week. With much discussion it was adjusted to once a week and private sessions instead of group sessions. That worked well enough.

The staff in the Scarsdale branch is very professional and they were dedicated to improve my son’s score on the ACT test.We were really thrilled with the results !!!

Our daughter worked intensively with Huntington for 9 weeks and achieved the ACT score she wanted on her first test. Eileen and staff were responsive to our questions and her needs. We got our monies worth.

My son was very behind in reading and writing by mid 4th grade. He started attending Huntington Learning Center in December of 2016 and has learned many strategies to help him with his comprehension, fluency and vocabulary, which he applied to his school work. He feels more confident and is finally progressing in school. Currently they are teaching him how to write and structure his paragraphs.... something he was not able to do because his reading level was so low. They are willing to meet with his classroom and special education teachers so their is a connection between the work he is doing in the Center and at school.

Without Huntington I would have never been able to reach my score goals. I would totally recommend this to anyone looking to improve their score on the ACT or SAT.

The tutors and staff could not have been more helpful. My son achieved the score he wanted on the ACT. The strategies he learned I know will be helpful in many facets of his life.

Huntington was a really big help in preparing for my SATs. When I went there, my SAT score was around 1090. After a few months in Huntington, I was able to boost my score up to 1420. I owe such a big jump to my tutors in Huntington. It may be a little pricey, but it is definetely worth it.

This has really helped my ACT prep for this junior year. I am very grateful.
