It’s rare to find a barbershop that caters to a cross section of children, teenagers and adults, many of whom have transitioned to adulthood and have remained loyal and appreciative customers. As a result of the Coronavirus Henry’s Barbershop, owned by Jay Gaitas was closed for a few months. However when they reopened, they only allowed one customer in at a time while providing the safest environment, now with social distancing they are are able to work with a few more customers . Jay and his team have been helping to keep us groomed and looking great! Henry’s is a unique and treasured institution in Scarsdale Village. While I only discovered Henry’s about twenty five years ago, I look forward to getting “ revitalized “ after Jay works his magic! Henry’s is staffed with excellent barbers, many who have worked there for many years. My advice is call and make an appointment since they are often busy but new walk in customers are always welcome! They also offer free parking in the back of their store!

Ive been coming here since I was a baby, my first haircut ever was here. Out of the probably hundreds of times Ive been here, Ive only had 2 bad haircuts (those barbers no longer work there, these were YEARS ago.) Whether you live in the area or are just visiting the area and need a haircut, I HIGHLY recommend Henrys.

He takes his time, and always gets it right! I always get a full service; Cut, a hot towel shave, and a line up all for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend this shop.

I am always satisfied with the haircuts I receive at this shop, for both myself and my family. I am equally happy with all the barbers in this shop. Saturdays can be a bit crowded, so always good to book an appointment on those days.
