I would never go anywhere else. Lovely people with kind caring and patient attitudes. Photos came out excellent.

Joart came to our school to take our class photos and they were so patient and nice to work with. They were great with the kids and so patient and kind with even the tough kids who would refuse to smile and were scared to take their photo. They are by far the best photographers we’ve had take school photos at our school. Totally recommend!!

This company seems to never care about the quality of the photo. Every photo always seems generic. They don’t get children to portray their real smiles which is the sole purpose of having their portraits taken. Way overpriced for small packages and not worth spending a dime to be disappointed.

Hi, i feel like the prices are unfair for the school photos, but even though Im willing to pay for the package i feel that is very unfair that i can only choose one pose. Whats the point of taking different posses if one is only allowed to choose one pose for each package. please be more considerate, i know is a business and is all about making money but the way is organize to pick only one pose per package is very discouraging to purchase any package

Jo-Art did my wedding back in 2003 and we have been using them ever since. I wont let anyone else take my childrens pictures. Everyone there is very professional and polite. Prices are great and the photos always come out amazing. They always go above and beyond for their customers. I wish I could give them more stars.

We had Jo Art photography at our school last week. They were fantastic! I was one of the PTA moms there helping...what a big difference as compared to last year with the old company we had. These guys were so professional with all of us, the teachers and the students. But more importantly, they were so much fun with the kids! They got each child to smile and have fun while they were doing it. I would highly recommend using this company in any capacity. Thank you again so much for your great work!

This is the worst picture experience Ive ever had to deal with just getting my sons school photos. I was informed through a friend that last week was the last week to expect photos. Wasnt told this through the customer service. So I finally called friday to find out what was going on as I had reached out to them previous to no avail. The man I spoke to informed me the pictures were damaged in shipment and they were already back from the lab and were going out that day the latest. I called today to find out if they were mailed out and the man I spoke to today tells me that the photos werent back from the lab yet and theyll be done sometime next week. Which isnt what I was told the first time. This is becoming a hassle that I shouldnt be having to chase down my sons pictures. Avoid this company if you want reasonably priced pictures and to actually receive them. If I couldve given 0 stars I wouldve.

Had my college senior portraits taken by Gil and could not be happier. Not only did the pictures come out amazing but he knows how to make you smile or laugh to get the perfect, most natural expressions possible. Compared to the Lifetouch, who took my high school senior portraits, I saved a lot of money. Not only are the packages much less expensive but he doesnt even charge a sitting fee. Anybody that complains about the price of the packages hasnt had to deal with the other options for school photos. I would highly recommend Jo-Art to anybody that want any types of photos.

My daughter’s pictures are gorgeous. Both photographers took extra time to make sure every student in my daughter’s class had a chance to be adjusted by the parents who volunteered to help. Love the backgrounds!!

My family has been going to Jo-Art for a couple of years. Jo-Art has taken our family portraits, Christmas pictures, Communion pictures, and most recently school portraits. Every time the photos are amazing and the owner was extremely professional. I highly recommend Jo Art.

Horrible the owner tries to be funny but should really focus on taking the pictures on top of that he is very rude this company is horrible and should not be in business due to their overpriced packages. The photos are also copyrighted which means you cant post or share them online really disappointed that schools choose this company.

Jo Art takes pictures for my daughters school in Sayville. I’m not a fan of their customer service or pictures. My daughters first picture was very awkward, they had her head tilted down and she was looking up through her glasses. I had them do a re-take (with out glasses) but it didn’t come out well. I called Jo Art asking if I could return the pictures and get a credit towards the Spring photos they take in school. The man said no, because I “could have scanned the picture” before I sent it back. I asked why they don’t send home proofs to choose from like other schools, but he said that’s not how it works. So much for 100% Guaranteed! NOT a happy customer.

Totally unprofessional business. Photographer was rude to my kid at the time of photo. When I spoke to him he was rude to me as well. Such a rip off to charge $20 for 1 sheet of digital pictures. Shouldnt be in schools working with kids.

Not impressed at all. Photographer could put more effort into making sure child looks nice before taking picture.

Their planning is horrible. Next you might want to give more advance on when pictures are being done. Instead of getting a letter in the mail that pictures are being done in two days.
