Absolutely gorgeous rental. Look forward to returning.
My family and I reserved the Mary OConner house for Thanksgiving 2020, we had paid for the unit in full three weeks in advance. On the day we where scheduled to check in, we called to ask for directions and spoke to Helen. Much to our surprise Helen had double booked our room. I stated to her that we are in town looking for our villa that we paid for in advance and what are we supposed to do (its not easy finding a place for a family of 6). Helen said to us sorry and that they would refund our money. We had to find a place to stay the day before thanksgiving and had to pay for another unit on an increased premium for the last minute reservation before a holiday and we didnt even get the refund from them until a week later. The excuse Helen gave us was that she didnt see the email reservation from the company THEY use to book their units. If you want to book this place and run the risk of being double book due to their gross incompetence then your more then welcomed to, but our experience was costly and we wanted to ensure people are informed of the risk.
What a charming historic home! My husband and I had a romantic weekend at 507 Broughton. The home was beautifully decorated...I imagined Flannery OConnor visiting her uncle as I curled up with book in the spacious living room. Such a wonderful alternative to a traditional hotel. I cannot wait to return for a girls trip--it has 3 bedrooms and will be perfect. The home is conveniently located in the historic district for easy access to sight seeing and restaurants. Our hosts were so accomodating and thought of everything a guest would need. I highly recommend!
We were in Savannah for a last minute girls trip. Helen was an amazing and gracious hostess. She helped us with our last minute booking and even emailed suggestions for restaurants and activities. The house was wonderful and tastefully decorated in period appropriate furnishings. The kitchen was well appointed with all of the modern conveniences. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this rental property if you are staying in Savannah.
We were looking for a place where we could house a number of friends and family, that would also allow us to have our reception at the property. We came across 109 W. Liberty and reached out to get more information.Helen was extremely friendly and easy to work with, and her and Robbie were very accommodating! We had a small wedding of ~55 people and the venue was absolutely perfect! The house was immaculate and was outfitted with everything we needed. We rented both the main house and the carriage house so we had a total of 10 bedrooms. All of the bedrooms were great size, and each had a private bathroom which made it the perfect set up for us and all of our guests! If we had to do it all over again, we wouldnt have changed a thing! A great venue, in a great location! Very highly recommended!
This location is beautiful! It felt bigger in person than how it appears in photos, and even with 7 people staying in the house, it was not crowded at all! The location was perfect, and we were able to easily walk to many places. The hosts were quick to respond to all questions and very helpful. There were plenty of supplies - towels, kitchen utensils, toiletries, blankets, etc. If youre looking to experience the beauty of historical Savannah, I highly recommend this vacation home!
Great location. Beautiful house, courtyard and upstairs deck. Decor a bit dated and minor issues with lighting, bathroom fan, etc but old house so its to be expected.
This venue is expensive (109 West Liberty St). There are 10 rooms but you only get 7 parking spaces... correction you only get 6 since the seventh is in front of a dumpster that will get your car towed if you park there (see Pics). The ice maker did not work, not great since we rented it for a wedding. Will not do this again.
Lovely
