This is a disgusting service that is always super late, the employees and managers have terrible attitudes and they’re very unprofessional. Many times I’ve called for them and in the middle of our conversation they’ll hang up the phone!! This has happened multiple times on multiple occasions. They accept rides and get paid for a service but still they show up late almost all the time. Their excuse is that they are low-staffed which I understand. But I believe that if you’re low-staffed then don’t accept so many rides! Just say you’re too full and I’d try somewhere else. Their seats for their vehicles are also very dirty and one time it stained my work uniform on the way to my job! It’s ridiculous how they operate. The terrible attitude again does not help at all.

Not only did we get a hotel the night before so we could leave our car at the hotel, but we called the night before to schedule our cab pick up for 5:45am. We rushed to get downstairs on time......545, no cab. 6:00am, no cab. Called dispatch and got I can call but they may not answer. Thats all I can do. After calling 3 times, we took our car to the airport. If we had known this, we wouldnt have gotten the hotel the night before. Now we are out hotel fees, parking fees....not good. What happened to customer service. If you want someone reliable, I suggest someone else. Yellow cab sucks.

Set up pickup for morning on the night previous.Didnt showup on time. A driver called later and told me I shouldve called earlier. Then that driver told me just to call his personal phone next time..Had set up pick ups for the week. When I called to cancel, dispatch told me there was no record of my request. It. cannot be that difficult to do a good job. Unprofessional and unreliable.

They came and picked us up quickly. The driver was friendly and polite. The fare was very reasonable.

Cab arrived quickly. Called other cabs but they were a no show. Didnt have Uber app, so had to use taxi service.Destination was about 5 miles, fare was $11.

Called at 11 to make reservations to be picked up at 5. Nobody showed up. Called back and lady said the drivers were swamped. But I had made arrangements hours before. Never use them again. Ended calling blue cab. Best decision I ever made. On time and fast service.

AVOID THIS COMPANY. They were 30 m late, overcharged us $15 over the FLAT RATE, sped 30mph over the entire way, and were clearly high AF!! Oh, and the car was not a taxi. It was just some random guy’s private car (and his brother who was there for some reason...). SKETCHY. DO NOT USE.

Called several times couldnt get an answer. No one ever called back. Very unprofessional in a time where I can order a cab on an app I thought getting someone to answer and be available would I thought that they would have more cabs available and be willing to help, but I guess not

I was an employee of this company for 14 years and had to retire due to illness. This company aside from 1 person is very disrespectful and unprofessional. Mike is the best person there but the rest of the higher ups treat their employees very badly. I say that because Im angry that after giving this company 14 years of my life they were trying to push me out. And when I got sick and had to retire due to heart and kidney failure they never reached out to me or showed any concern they never offered any compensation just a final paycheck. The company has changed for the worst and I hate to see that because I did love working there. The first 11 years were great every body was happy then they hired new management and started pushing me out taking away my jobs in management and cutting my pay without informing me. I wouldnt recommend using this company for your travel needs.

We had a large group, and had a very negative experience with one of the competitors in the area with getting transportation from an AirBNB to Tybee. Because of this, I had called Yellow Cab to see if we could arrange pick up from Tybee back to our AirBNB. The dispatcher was great, and was very communicative. Scheduled our pick up, and both drivers were as closest possible to being on time, with the traffic that is on Tybee. They also use a text notification system when the cab has been dispatched and when it arrives. The drivers were friendly, and the rates are reasonable. Because of our experience with this, we also scheduled our pick ups for the airport at the end of our trip. Both cabs were on time, efficient, and friendly.

Can was called the night before. The cab driver did not come. The dispatchers refused to answer the phone.!!!

I booked a ride the night before an early morning flight. A cab was not ready, and when I called, they could give me no indication if they would even be able to get me a cab. Thankfully Lyft was able to locate a driver so I could make my flight.

These people are terrible. they dont ever come and the service people put you on hold for 15 minutes wait and then are rude. I cant beleive you cant get a taxi in Savannah. What a backwards town.

I gave them a ONE star only because there’s nothing else to give. I called at 3o’clock for a cab and it’s now 6 o’clock. No one has picked up or arrived at our hotel. The lady says that they can pick and choose who they want to pick up. I was kicked out of the cue for pickup and no one even called me to let me know anything. Notice the pic attached how many times I called for follow up. Initially the lady told me 5-20 minutes. Every time I called in to check she told me 6-7 minutes out. It is Valentine’s Day. It’s raining and there are no Ubers available. I would NOT rely on yellow cab for any kind of transportation. Horrible experience. Don’t waste your time calling them for a cab.

Needed a taxi after work. Was told 20 minutes 30 tops. After 45 minutes called back and was told that they suddenly were flooded with calls just keep waiting. Started walking the 4.5 miles home after working a full day and was called TWO HOURS AND TWENTY MINUTES LATER!!!! Will NEVER use this cab again.

My cab was scheduled for 12:00pm. I called the dispatch and he was the rudest person to speak with. He seemed clueless and kept saying it wasn’t his fault and that no call had been placed. The hospital that called in the request called an additional time to confirm the cab and yellow cab said they wouldn’t be here until 3pm. At 3:15 I called for the third time and the cab had been cancelled. I had to request another cab by the same rude and nasty dispatcher. I am now looking at my watch and it is 3:57 pm.

Call for a pick up two hrs later

The dispatch is rude and very unprofessional. The better business bureau will be notified. Everytime I call for a cab there, the dispatch is rude. The man tonight that answered said I was shouting on the phone when I wasnt. Maybeif he turned his volume down he wouldnt think I was shouting. Then he proceeded to tell me he didnt have to listen to me. YELLOW CAB NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. They are the most unprofessional people around. I will do what ever it takes to shut them down. The owner should hide his head in shame.

I have used this company on several occasions. I personally appreciate the service that was provided each time. I choose Yellow Cab of Savannah because I find comfort in knowing they have been in business for many years. I remember as a child seeing their yellow cabs every where. I feel you can never be too safe in the world we live in today. For me there is nothing more important than my kids and grand kids. Thank you Yellow Cab of Savannah for being there for my family. My grand kids point out the yellow cabs to me now. I pray the Lord continues to bless you and keep your drivers safe.

Unless you are scheduling a pick-up well in advance, just call Uber or Lyft. The automated dispatch doesnt allow you to get an idea of how long the wait is. The immediate service option led to a 50 min. wait.

The woman on the phone was extremely nasty with me. she claimed to be the supervisor and I knew she was lying and she had an attitude out of this world VERY unprofessional this cab service charged me and AND the hospital for the same ride. BIG SCAM!

I use this cab service all the time and its not great but usually I can depend on it. This morning I scheduled a pick up by calling at 6:18am, at 6:40 I hadnt received a call from a driver so I called back to check on the status of my order. The dispatch person was so rude to me and argued with me that I hadnt called for a cab at all. I told her I just needed to make sure there was one in the way. She said she wouldnt send a car and hung up on me. I called back and once again she rudely refused to help me and by this time I was going to be late for work because of the delay. The customer service was absolutely unacceptable 😠

Waiting for a cab and it never came or no one never called

This was the best cab experience I have ever had. It was definitely the feel of history and the edge I was looking for. I feel that if you are getting a ride from someone that it is important to be respected and treated fairly which I was given all of the above. Uber is basically for the younger crowd of customers because they do not know how to strike a conversation with human beings. Uber does not do background checks on their drivers and can companies do . And for that reason I fell more safe in a cab . So if you want a taste of history call Yellow Cab of Savannah and they will treat you with all respect.

Well, I called for a cab this morning. Guy on the phone was slightly less than friendly. Was told 10-25 minute wait. 45 minutes later, nothing. Finally got a ride elsewhere, but I guess they never came even after I left, because I didnt call to cancel, and they never called saying they couldnt find me, so...

I really wish I could give this company ZERO stars!!! We made reservations and were given a confirmation number to be picked up at a specific time to arrive at the train station. We had to be on time! When that day & time came, we waited for the scheduled cab to come. Two hours and three phone calls later, still no cab! We just kept being told he was on the way. We cancelled it at that point because we had already missed our train. When I called into the office to complain, I asked what the point of making reservations was and questioned why we were not told they cannot guarantee an arrival/pickup time. The manager was not rude, but completely missed my whole point and kept saying they were short on drivers and that is their busiest time of day. Once again I expressed how we should have been told when we made the reservation and that I was frustrated we lost the money because we missed our train! At that point, the manager said I needed to speak to the owner. This was 5 days ago and I have still not received a call from the owner!! Shows how little these people care!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS COMPANY!!!

I placed an order for a cab 2 and a half hours before I had to leave. I waited and when it didnt show up, I called the company. I was told that there was a 1 to 1 and a half hour wait. Whats the use in placing an order in advance if they wont honor it. I had to call in to work to let them know that I was going to be an hour late. I will never use Yellow Cab again.

Tonight I had to get a taxi and get medicine delivered to a friends house. Tropical storm Hermine is out there but Yellow Cab sent a driver by the name of Keith to my house and he took me to my destination but we could not find the block because of all the heavy rain. Keith took his time and made sure that we would find the correct street so the medication can be delivered to my friends baby. He must have really understood the importance of the baby getting the medicine because he found the block. I will not take another cab company in Savannah except Yellow Cab, because of drivers like keith. THANK YOU YELLOW CAB.

Yellow Cab, I would like you to ask the driver of this piece of garbage to not yell profanities at my wife in traffic.

I ordered a cab 3 days before I needed it and told the dispatcher that I was going to the airport and needed the cab at 5 am. He told me no problem and the cab would be on time. At 5 minutes passed 5 am The cab had not arrived so I called the office and was told that there where no cabs available at the moment and although I had reserved there was no guarantee a cab would be available. I was also told that they were not sure when a cab would be available. What good is a cab company when it cannot live up to their commitments to the customer.

Very slow and expensive

Consistently over 45 minutes waiting, several times the driver has reported us a no show when they never called to confirm!Several times wait has been over an hour, on slow nights. After repeated calls, all we got were excuses.I dont know how this company can call itself number one in Savannah with this poor level of customer service!I should say, however, that the DRIVERS that we have ridden with (the ones who actually show up) are usually pretty decent. Its the dispatchers who are the problem most of the time.

I asked the customer to have the driver to move the cab from front door of my store and she was getting rude with him and didn’t move I went out out and asked for her to move she had coped an attitude she was blocking other customers coming the store where they had to walk around the cab to get in the store there is a yellow painted curb where the cab was sitting the cab number is 49

Called the number shown to reserve a cab to work. I got a guy named Tom. not only did he know where the traffic was gonna get iffy, he was a cool professional guy. Ive since used him several times. Always on time, always polite. CONSISTENT!!!

The drivers where prompt with my pickups to dinner and they gave me greats tips on Restaurants, and places to party while we enjoyed the night life in South Georgia . Typical cab driver. Takes the longest route possible and decided I’d like scenic route thru down Savannah cutting back and forth between streets when all he had to do was keep going straight. Everybody has the Maps App and knows the shortest route - it’s outright theft when it’s so obvious to the passengers that he took the longest route.Not to mention well over 80 miles an hour several times on I-95 (nowhere near RiverStreet). Should’ve sued for putting my life in danger.Karma will get you eventually.

An amazing cab experience, I dont regret this decision despite the comments and reviews I saw. Honestly my cab driver got there in less than 5 minutes. The hotel we stayed in misled us and he gave us a one way ride and didnt charge for the ride back. Then he gave us a little tour of Savannah its worth to check it out.

I called several times to make a taxi reservation for the next day to take us to the Savannah airport. Finally got through to a driver, who was actually a nice guy. (I think his name was Jerry.) I made my reservation for the next morning, and asked that they pick us up no later than 4:30 am. I told them anytime after 4:00am would be fine, but definitely no later than 4:30, as we had to be to the airport by 5:00am for a 5:30am boarding. 4:30am came and went; no cab. I called multiple times; no answer. I finally had to wake up a relative to take us to the airport. I received a call from a Savannah number around 5:00am, but I didnt answer. Im assuming it was the cab. Dont trust this completely unreliable taxi company!

I called to get a cab, and they said it was no problem to drop me off at Saber. I told them that i actually needed to be picked up from Saber and suddenly it was an issue. The lady started making bulls**t excuses about how they now have issues getting on post...

Yellow Cab is a very good safe cab company to ride with,they are clean relliable and on time for the most part. I have been a customer for many years and do understand that sometimes they cant get to you on time because of how busy they are. But all of that being said they are great,the best cab service in town.

Called and reserved a pick up for the next day. The trip was from Savannah State to the airport. A flat rate was charged for calling ahead. The cab was on time & Everything went as planned. We will definitely use them again in the future.

This company is awful. I booked a cab(s) on the app about 3 hours in advance for 7 people. I call at 6:30 to confirm. Women tells me they were never told it was this many people. I advise my confirmation email says otherwise. She said okay and they will have someone there around 7:00. Nobody shows, I call up there and she says the driver said I was a no-show (lie). Nobody showed up, nobody called. She tries to blame it on me saying I registered for only 1 sedan (lie). And when I called to confirm she had to cancel the order, which makes no sense whatsoever, and confirmed that she lied to me about a driver coding us as no-shows. Would not issue discount or free ride. This company is incompetent and unprofessional. USE SOMEONE ELSE!

Worst experience of my life. The dispatch lady told it would take under 20mins.. Waited more than 2.5 hours for their cab to arrive to get back to Savannah port. The container port doesnt allow Uber or other cars into the port. Its either this or nothing. Finally took a Uber to the port, and the port security made us(they called the driver directly) to take their taxi again into the port. For a short ride, without meter he charged us 30$. The driver name was Johnny B. Exploitation. Dont use this company.

I work for a bed and breakfast downtown, so I am calling cabs for my guests all day and night. If you can get someone to answer the Yellow Cab number its a miracle. To get them to show up on time... or at all is almost always guaranteed not to happen. When we get a good cab service in Savannah I and many others will be overjoyed, but this company is the worst of the worst.

I have been waiting for my cab for well over an hour now. The people that pick up the phone or very rude. The drivers are usually nice, but having to wait over an hour on a slow day for a cab over an hour on a slow day for a cab?

I called to arrange for someone else to be picked up and brought to a destination and the woman answering with an attitude told me that they are not allowed to take fares called in by a third person.Called another company - no problems.Last time I tried this company.

One night I was sick as a dog and needed tho be taken to the hospital. I normally do lift or uber but I couldnt get into either acct (forgot password). So I called the cab company to set it up. I was going to coastal carolina hospital. I asked the dispatcher how much will it be. She told me exactly $42. I was like ok cool. The driver got there and was like he needs a deposit first before he takes me anywhere. I never heard of a driver doing that but I was like what ever, it was a good little drive to the hospital. He probably just wanted to make sure he didnt get stiffed. So I pulled out my debit card. All of a sudden he flew into a rage talking about damn now I have to do all of this work! Its going to take forever...blah blah blah . I was taken back by that because its not like I just have you European money or something! I apologized and he just sucked his teeth and shook his head. Finally he throws the receipt book down and says forget it! Ill just do it when we get there! ) do he continues driving. We finally arrive and he writes out his receipt. And lo and behold it says $68 for the total. I was total confused but I thought maybe the dispatcher just made a mistake with the practice. So I go in and get checked out by the doctor. I ordered the same cab to send another driver to send me home. Now THIS driver takes me home and lo and behold how much is my bill? $42. Exactly what the dispatcher had quoted me in the first place! Which means that just cab driver SCAMMED me out of almost $30! These guys are thieves! And if it wasnt good the honesty of one cab driver I would have never known!

Called and made an appointment. They showed up a few minutes early. The driver was courteous. The cab was clean. Would use again.

Terrible- shared cab with another couple after concert. Driver did not turn on meter and charged couple $20, went 1 mile down road and charged us $25! Said something to him that we only paid $13 to get there from same place. He mumbled something about per person! Called company and said manager will call us Monday! Never again!

This is the best cab company in Savannah. Remember each driver is an independent contractor.

Great service and American Owned. Something that we all take for granted and are too quick to abandon. The poor guys at uber charge less and get paid a very low wage. I have never seen a driver financially well off. So remember if an Uber driver gets paid LESS when more taxi services hang it up and Uber drivers get tired of playing the part nobody will be able to call in their time of need. Thanks to the Greenes for keeping this service what it is.

Awful experience. Our inn-keeper called a cab for us three hours in advance. Our cab never showed and when our inn keeper called to see what was going on, the woman on the line was VERY rude to her (we heard the conversation over the speaker phone), she denied that we had a reservation, and then said she saw it on her computer but we were a no-show since we didnt answer the phone. We NEVER even got a call and to top it off, the woman said you can always call uber before she hung up on our innkeeper. No, thank you. Never calling this cab service again.

The cab drivers I have had have terrible personality and professionalism and I scheduled a cab 2 hours before I needed to be picked up at a specified time through the app and they didnt get there until 20 minutes later, making me late to work. Its no wonder uber and lyft are so popular because Yellow Cab is probably the worst taxi company Ive ever experienced. Consistently they are terrible. Their cars are also dirty and some have broken parts inside like door locks and window locks.
