TLDR: Mary Anderson, the manager, was extremely unpleasant to work with as we tried to resolve broken A/C in July. Rent through AirBNB or VRBO so that you have more protections than if you book directly through their site.I rented a 5 bedroom property on Thunderbolt and while the house was great in most regards, the A/C was broken when we arrived. The internal temperature of the house was 88 degrees. Due the extent of the break, the A/C could not be fixed that night. Obviously, neither the property manager, Mary, nor I were excited to be dealing with this at 6pm on a Friday.I tried to work with Mary to get it resolved while communicating my concern about the heat effecting sleep and the overall start to our trip. I asked if there was another property, or window units or anything that could be done to help cool the house down. Mary did say we could get 1 night refunded but after that it was all down hill. She offered no solutions for cooling the house down, became noticeably hostile, kept telling me the repair was expensive, sent me a screenshot of the outside temperature saying that it was below average temps for Savannah, and told me that I hadnt won the lottery multiple times after I requested 1.5 nights refund. It seemed as if she wanted us to leave so she wouldnt have to repair the A/C but with 10 girls on a holiday weekend and nights already planned, there wasnt anywhere for us to go.The property was in decent shape though it didnt have a well-equipped kitchen, had a lot of wall scratches, no towels in the upstairs bathroom, and a broken towel rack. But these types of things are to be expected when renting a large house. It was just Marys aggressive attitude that resulted in the 2 stars. After our communication on Friday, I was scared to contact her about anything else. She shouldnt be client facing and I sympathize with any renters who have to deal with her.
I rented a property through AirBnB which was managed by this company. By far the worst management I have encountered. The unit rented had issues with cleanliness, broken furniture (loveseat and ottoman), and internet connectivity problems. Ive attached a selection of the pictures. When I reported, Mary Anderson simply brushed it off and gave a myriad of excuses. No offers of solutions, apologies, or offer to assist in any way. I dont recommend using this management company. Im sure most properties would be fine, but dont expect real help if you did run into issues.
