I found Captain Jack because on Google and he had 40 five star reviews. Im going to make that 41! Nothing to do with him, I just had a feeling that it would be a disappointment because thats how fishing goes for me. Not today. Jack made sure of it. We literally had a fish on within 5 seconds of our first cast. We probably caught 25 fish between the two of us. There were a couple times we both had a fish hooked at the same time. Several sea trout, flounder, blue fish, and a nice black drum. Im excited to go out with him again in a couple weeks. I am fairly new to fishing salt water and I wanted him to teach me the very basics. He did and there were so many takeaways. He also cleaned them and the end and my wife made it for dinner. A wonderful fishing experience with our family! Captain Jack is very knowledgeable and patient with our son. We caught a shark and saw sting rays up close. I highly recommend him!

Capt Jack took us on a great fishing trip. We caught 20+ whiting, and at times the fish were biting as fast as the hook could be baited again and recast. I would highly recommend fishing with Capt Jack! He even did all the dirty work, and we had a delicious lunch. We would do this again!

Absolutely wonderful trip!! Capt Jack was just so nice and really knows the area. We caught many fish, stopped to see the dolphins, and even saw a manatee.

Weather and tidal conditions were rough and we still cuaght fish and the biggest shark I have ever cuaght(even got a battle scar to prove it).Jack worked hard to put us onto fish in tough conditions.

Took a trip down to Savannah with some friends for my birthday to do some fishing and Captain Jack delivered in every way! He was flexible knowledgeable kind and just a delight to be around. We got the biggest Reds I’ve ever seen some shark some stingray and some other stuff and we had a blast!Will absolutely be using Captain Jack again and you should too!

We had a great time with Captain Jack. We’re new to the area and wanted to experience the river and learn a little about it at the same time. Jack is a wealth of information about the river and all that surrounds it. My lady had never fished from a boat, and the care given to her to have a great first experience was second to none. Capt Jack was flexible, accommodating and hospitable. His goal was for my husband and I to have a great time and we did. He was patient and was never in a rush. Capt Jack is a knowledgeable Capt, and a man of faith. On my charter and on this particular day, we had to work hard, but we found fish! Jack put me on the targeted species, provided great insight regarding the area and shared excellent local tips. His boat is pristine, well equipped and ready for any angler. Had a great experience...had a hot start on the sea trout but they werent keepers...capt jack eventually got us on a great whiting bite...like how capt jack keep the boat moving to try to get you to a good bite...thanks capt jack we will book with you again soon👍

Booked a 4-hour inshore trip, and spent a little less than half the trip catching bait fish, even some non-bait fish. Then, we traveled out to Wassaw sound and the ocean meet. We caught several sharks (large and small), a few sting rays, and many other smaller fish. Captain jack was super knowledgeable of anything and everything related to the trip, and even had some local history to share. Definitely would recommend this to anyone.

Jack is not only a fantastic guide, hes one of the most pleasant individuals you will meet in your lifetime. You wont find him in boastful pictures, papers or magazines. Hes the type that walks softly and carries a big stick. If you want fish, you want Jack. He takes the time to understand what you want and makes it happen using his lifelong knowledge of the area. Our first day netted 4 nice Reds and 3 trout for about 15 lbs in fillets. Not to mention the Bonnet Heads and smaller fish we tossed back. Our second day was for fighting only. Several Sharp Nose Atlantics, a 4 Black Tip, a few nice rays and a slew of Whiting made for a great day. We couldnt be more pleased with both days haul and we couldnt have spent time with a more wonderful person. Jack is truly a credit to the sport and to Savannah. Both are lucky to have him. We had a great time with Captain Jack! He was very patient with our 2 boys they really enjoyed him. He put us on the fish right away and the boys caught so many different fish; from trout to reds to skipjack, we even caught a stingray and a few sharks. The boys had a blast! If you are in the Savannah/Tybee area we highly recommend Capt Jack! We will be back for more!

My husband and I went out with Capt Jack in Jan 2015. Although the weather was frigid, Capt Jack put us on the sheepshead! Very nice guy, honest, knowledgeable and hard working. Great boat for 2-3 anglers. Reasonable prices. Sturdy gear. Easy to find marina very close to Savannah. We would definitely book again. Thanks, Capt Jack!

Took my extended family fishing with Capt Jack and it was so much fun. Capt Jack knew the right pockets to fish and made the trip real fun. He is very patient and ensures everyone is getting some action and takes the time to teach how to use the tackle if you are new to fishing as well. Great day fishing with 2 friends and Captain Jack at the end of April, 2014. Boat was rigged perfectly for our inshore trip and was well organized with 4 people aboard. Capt. Jack listened to what we wanted to catch and picked an outstanding location for us to load up on Black Drum and Red fish. We took our two girls out fishing with capt. Jack in mid September and had a great trip. Jack knows the waters around the Savannah area well and was very patient with the girls.We had a strict time we had to be off the water, he made every minute count and had us back at the dock on time. It was good fishing and a good time!

We went out with Captain Jack today and had a wonderful time. The weather was cold and raining. We had a cold front that had the weather 20 degrees below normal. It was about 46 degrees in February. Captain Jack put us on the spot. We did not catch many Sheepshead but the ones we caught were nice. I caught one over 9 lbs. Thanks Captain Jack ....... See you next year

Couldnt of asked for a better charter captain. Captain Jack was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. He put us on fish all day long. Red drum, black drum, flounder, lady fish, blues, ocean trout (including some 3lbers and one 4lber) and a 3ft bonnethead shark. Id reccomend Captain Jack to anyone and everyone looking to have a good time fishing the coasts around Savannah.

It was a nice experience for my son. The weather didnt cooperate but we still caught a few, and my son enjoyed it.

October 25th 7:30 am we hit the water. After a little over an hour Captain Jack got us on the fish in no time. We hit on a Redfish bank and not far from that area he got us on the Sea Trout. Fishing is hit and miss from my experience, but no doubt in my mind Jack knows the currents, creeks and intercoastal fishing spots. My wife and I had decided whether we caught fish or not we were going to have a good time. We caught our Redfish limit and shy of our Sea Trout limit. Captain Jack did everything. Baited up our hooks, unhooked and cleaned our fish. If you want a comfortable and relaxed fishing experience on the water I highly recommend Captain Jack and his Coastal River Charter.

My wife and I recently enjoyed a day on the water with Captain Jack. We caught redfish, sea trout, and 3 sharks! We had a blast!
