We paid for a service that was not completed. After searching for an accountant to file our personal taxes as well as estate taxes for a deceased family member we were reassured that Innovative tax would be able to take care of everything for us. We ended up paying more than we were quoted by a lot, which we didn’t argue with. However after not receiving any paperwork back from the personal state taxes for the deceased family member, we checked the state website and realized the taxes were never filed. When I called innovative tax a month and a half ago, I was told everything was all set and there was nothing else we needed to do. Which was not the case. After calling again the other day, we received a call back and were told we had to sign and send them in personally. The reason we decided to hire someone to do these taxes was that we didn’t know what we were doing and paid for someone to do that for us. There was a lack of communication on innovative tax solutions and therefore we would not recommend them.

What an excellent group of professionals. We have been looking for a professional group to guide us through some unknowns in relation to tax codes and owning / operating businesses. This group knows how to guide you through the process as well as point us toward areas of saving Money and being more successful with our businesses. They are very responsive to questions and get the job completed in a timely manner. My only regret is that we did not find them sooner!

I worked with this firm for one reason, Mr. Lee. The other accountant is nice too, but not as competent unfortunately. Mr. Le is gone now. But for over a year I had to put up with the nastiest receptionist Ive ever had to deal with in my life. Every conversation involved her using a condescending tone, brushing me off, or blatantly snapping at me. With Mr. Lee, gone, I finally mentioned it to her and tried to laugh it off, I even try to make her feel better, only to have her hang up on me. As much as I like the accountants, I just dont have the continued patience to deal with someone so emotionally unprofessional. And her name is Krystal, with a K. Thats what she snapped at me too. lolRESPONSE TO REVIEW RESPONSE -Responder, you dont have anyone by that name? Then your employee falsified her identity. Find someone to fix my tax issue? Mr. Lee already resolved the issue, which I am very thankful for. And I paid in full. Not a good fit your you? Lol OK. I hold no issue with your firm, aside from your employee who is suffering internally, that is the only explanation for her behavior. Your lack of professional empathy, however, gives greater insight to the overall temperament of your firm. Let me assist you - the appropriate response would have been - Tiffany, I dont know of anyone by that name, however, we are surprised and upset to hear about this. They started talking a good game prior to me giving them my documents. Then when they gave me the return they had my information wrong and got an attitude with me when I checked them on it. If they are the professionals, I shouldnt have to tell them their numbers are off. They took forever with my return, then it was wrong. A complete waste of time!!!

I do not recommend this place. I was explaining my situation to Adam (CPA/tax advisor) and he was providing me with wrong information. When I tried to correct him with information from the IRS, he became very rude and hanged up the call. I understand that every situation is different and CPAs/Tax Experts do not know every scenario out there, but they need to get familiarize first if they havent encountered a specific situation or the situation is out of the norm. Adam was not accepting that he did not have a clue of the advise that he was offering.

The team at ITAS was nothing short of amazing. They are extremely knowledgeable and willing to help! The team is warm, friendly and caring. I will definitely be using them for all of my accounting needs.
